The best restaurants serving American food in Shropshire West Midlands

Visited following a recommendation and needed to cool down after a long day in the heat. Great selection of ice cream and sorbet. We had the sorbet and was very tasty and refreshing. Service was friendly and price was reasonable

This was the first time we had visited The Merchant House and was very pleasantly surprised. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The owner/chef/bar tender created 2 delicious cocktails for us. We didn't have time to try one of the extremely tempting meals this time but have booked to come in again next weekend. Highly recommend trying - you will not be disappointed.

Been here many times, best fried chicken in Shrewsbury by a country mile. Place is chill and all the staff are sound. Give this place a try if you haven’t already

amazing burgers and dirty fries, really enjoy this place

I have been going here on and off for a few years now. It pains me to say it but, it’s not what it was. My food was good but, they don’t seem to do as many specials now, the cheesecake was fabulous but, it’s either not on or, it’s just a vanilla cheesecake called twirl because there is some chopped twirls on it. I assume from the drop in opening hours, things are not what they could be - come on Lyons Den, step up your Facebook PR again, do the great cheesecakes. It’s a great place but nothing comes easy in this world.

Excellent burgers, freshly cooked in one of our favourite places to eat in Bridgnorth. Simple food done really well. Service great - though it was a quiet evening.

Fabulous flat white coffee. Homemade cakes, including gluten free. Perfectly balanced winter salad. Lovely friendly service. An unassuming gem.

Wow 1727 how have we managed to miss finding you until now!! Lovely food, great staff, nothing too much trouble and child friendly. We would come back however your opening hours have changed for the worse Friday & Saturday 18.00-21.00!! whats that all about and your new menu isn't a patch on the old one. Shame

Lovely welcome in from the staff, The roast beef was cooked lovely, served with lots of different veg. I had no room left for pudding.

First time eating @ Hickory’s, the menu was good and reasonably priced - I had the Mac & Cheese which was fab! Staff were polite and friendly though a ervice was a little slow - it was very busy and they did say they were short-staffed. Overall, a good place for food.
