We enjoyed a good breakfast at this delightful little cafe. It was very busy, which to me is a good sign, nevertheless the staff were very friendly, polite and unflustered! Would definitely go again when visiting Much Wenlock.

Passing through the delightful town of Much Wenlock we decided it was time for breakfast and chose the Barrow St Cafe. It was quiet when we arrived (though by the time we left the place was busy) Staff were excellent, as was the food. I can thoroughly recommend the Full English, washed down with a pot of Breakfast Tea. We will certainly return! Highly recommended.

10/10 for everything! I hired Barrow St Cafe to do catering for my wedding. From the first interaction everything was very smooth. We had delicious quiches, couscous salads and scrumptious scones! The guests absolutely loved everything and went back for seconds. The food was healthy, used local ingredients and was delightfully presented. Emma was the best person for the job. Thank you so much and I would recommend to everyone!

Stopped off at Barrow St Cafe for a coffee & something to eat whilst staying in Much Wenlock on our holiday. Spotted the Italian Style Eggs on the menu & was intrigued enough to order it. It certainly didn't disappoint, it was absolutely delicious. The hot flat white coffee was a hit too. Would highly recommend Barrow St Cafe for the friendly staff, the cleanliness both inside & out & also the tempting array of cakes, which we will try next time we visit. 10/10!

Called in for tea & cake during our stay in the area. Both cakes were delicious and not the usual flavours. Visited next day for breakfast and again our choices were excellent. We prefer quality produce & different choices to the usual full English. Staff were very polite and welcoming.

Six of us booked in for Sunday lunchtime. The menu selection is good, but not a great choice. Cafe was busy (always a good sign). Service was friendly and very good. Food was good (although the scambled egg and salmon on toast needed more than 1 small slive of toast for neary £10!) Bread was thin and small - needed to be a quality crusty bread for the price. We stayed for drinks and cake and left after nearly 3 hours.

I don't use this word lightly but it was abysmal. It was the worst cafe experience we've ever had. Firstly it's SO expensive! Two breakfast sandwiches, a cup of tea and a very small milkshake was nearly £20. I wouldn't have minded the cost if it was actually any good. The bread on both sandwiches was so stale it was hard in places. The bacon was over cooked and the sausages bland. The only good part of the sandwiches were the perfectly cooked poached eggs. Most of the one sandwich was left due to the bread being so stale and inedible. The only reason I ate mine was because of the high cost - I hate wastage. The milkshake I ordered was the wrong one so it went back and was replaced with the proper flavour. It tasted pretty awful despite being made with ice-cream, it tasted so artificially sweet and for the price it was tiny - you'd think it was a kids portion. Half of it was left.

We both had veggie tagine (vegan option) without the yogurt. As a meal it was just ok. It was hot but to be honest underwhelming. I thought it was a soup because it was rather thin. The main vegetable was tomato and a few chickpeas. It needed more vegetables and more Moroccan flavouring... The coffee was excellent.

Great Eggs Royale and price very reasonable. Eggs very rich orange yolk perfectly poached and delicious hollandaise. My wife’s looked just as good. She had a very nice Italian style eggs with a sausage, and lovely basil oil frisked over it.

Bad - Was pleasantly surprised to see written on the window “vegan options” however, once looking at the menu inside and asking the staff we were told the only vg options available were the soup of the day or a scone (you could make vegan). Very poor choices. Vegetarian friendly not vegan friendly. Shouldn’t have it written on the window unless some proper meals are added. No good if you have intolerances Good - Staff members were friendly, nice decor/atmosphere and the place is dog friendly.

Kept returning to this place during my week holiday whilst dog sitting in Much Wenlock. The staff are lovely, and my dog thought so too. The food is utterly delicious, I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs every time as I enjoyed it so much! You are welcome to sit inside or outside with dogs, which is a bonus on cold or wet days 10/10 thank you xx

Popped into this venue after visiting nearby Much Wenlock Priory(10 mins walk) The place is small but welcoming. It was very clean and the menu was varied. We had coffee, cheese scone and a toasted tea cake. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was obviously fresh and very tasty as was the coffee. Food was served to other customers and that looked nice too. It was noticeable that the staff were very pleasant and served customers in a very nice way. Would recommend this venue to anyone visiting the priory and area in general.

Such a nice place to come on a sunny summers day with the butterflies all around the scented herbs in the garden. Clean, pleasant cafe with excellent food, we had delicious home made soup and a beetroot and feta open sandwich on sourdough, but there were other tempting things. Much Wenlock is a very pretty little old town, and a great place to stop and stretch your legs if you are going down the M6, we happily spent a couple of hours there looking at its sights and shops and cafes and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My wife had halloumi spiced cauliflower on flat bread while I had the soup of the day - tomato and basil - with a cheese scone. Excellent cappuccinos, cake and local ginger beer. A really good dog friendly place to enjoy a food with the family. We had a table outside due to being with our Labrador, but we were provided blankets and also heating working to keep us cozy. Very good to enjoy gluten free, they take this seriously with one member of the staff checking twice and confirming with my wife the ingredients of each dish we ordered GF.
