The best restaurants serving American food in Carfax Oxford South East

Sam catered for my wedding this summer and we could not have been more pleased with the service we received. Not to mention that the food was exceptionally delicious and I ‘should’ know I am a chef as are both of my brother in laws. The food was incredible and exceptional value, Sam was easy to deal with in the run up, punctual and is just a lovely, lovely guy. If you like smokey American style BBQ then look no further. We live in the US but our son is studying abroad in Oxford this fall. We ordered donuts for him and his friends and they were quite impressed. Good job with the donuts and handling the delivery.

Great little find for burgers.... Definitely worth a visit

Wonderful restaurant. Raff is superb!

Even tho they are more expensive than McDonald or KFC, the taste was AMAZING! I had a bacon cheese hot dog with fries and believe me, the fries were one of the best I have ever had! The hot dog was also very good. The cheddar goes so well with other ingredients, so it was like heaven in my mouth. My friend had a burger, and said it was really good as well. One thing I need to say was minus, was how they packed it. In regular tinfoil and fries in paper cup. Tho it was warm even hour after buying it, I was scared how it will taste. But the fries from the cup was a splendid idea. So from me, full 5 stars! Thank you for the amazing opportunity to taste something sooo good!

Dreadful customer service on the day I visited. Had been before but this day was awful. Staff member had a terrible attitude which is bizarre given it’s one of the most expensive burger joints in Oxford. Will never go again, there are plenty of friendlier and cheaper places in Oxford. The place has a pretty dull atmosphere anyway.

Came for Beckys Bar during Happy Hour. The place was pretty, with a good playlist and the giant fridge, albeit gimmicky, was fun. The atmosphere was a bit dead for a speakeasy on a Saturday night, and considering you pay £5 pp just to book, I felt more could have been done to liven up the place. Service was really friendly, but due to not many members being on, it was slow and took a while to get our drinks. The drinks themselves were average. I would have rather paid more for better drinks so maybe this is an area to work on as the bar is a new concept. The bar tenders (3 men) gave us tequila shots for my boyfriends birthday which was super fun and kind. Would come back just to be served by them honestly. A great idea, but obviously in its early days and definitely room to make it a really cool experience.

Firstly, there was a man in the front of me waiting for his order, but he left as he was waiting way too long and other people who was after him get they order before him. While the manager or supervisor, just was there watching what is going on and playing with his phone insted to help the staff. And I order chicken wrap with BBQ sauce and i didn't get any sauce at all. It was dry and tasteless. So disappointed.
