A truly wonderful experience. Quick service at the door promptly seated as had made a reservation. Ordered some mocktails which were quickly whipped up and tasted absolutely delicious… beware they are very moreish. The sides were also fantastic and my steak was cooked to perfection., with a generous sized portion. The decor was nice and restaurant was clean and hygienic. Prices were very reasonable under the current economic climate.

** Last-Minute Letdown - didn’t honor booking** I had a reservation for two at Casa Argentina to celebrate a friend's birthday. Despite confirming my booking through email and receiving a reminder, they canceled it unexpectedly by phone less than 30 minutes before my arrival! When I asked them why, it transpired it was due to a walk-in. It's disappointing when a restaurant can't honor a reservation, especially within short notice and on a busy and rainy Friday night. Won't be returning and wanted to share to save others from a similar experience.

Gourmet Republik has only been open a few months; yet, during that time, they've built up a following that compelled us to give them a visit. The place itself is aesthetically pleasing with impressive decor that includes a uniquely quirky lavatory. The restaurant shows great promise, having certainly nailed the poultry side of things, with superb chicken wings and a deliciously marinated grilled chicken, and some tremendous lamb chops. However, and in our considered opinion, while the burgers were decent, they need some refinement if Gourmet Republik is to seriously challenge the best gourmet Halal burgers currently out there. We ate there last night! It was all delicious. Its owner, a man from Albania, was super nice. Of all the restaurants we have eaten in the 5 days we have been in London, this was where I enjoyed the most. The servings are huge. Thanks for the good food!!!

Mi hija y yo vinimos dos veces este fin de semana de vacaciones en Londres. La primera vez que estuvimos aquí fueron las 7 de la noche. Mucha gente y tuvimos que esperar un poco para llegar a un lugar para sentarse. La segunda vez fueron las 11 de la mañana, cuando abrieron. Lo recomendaría mucho. Porque comer en Wingstop es una visita obligada en Londres y es muy bueno.

Artur is an amazing guy, so accommodating and knows his customers. He came and sat with me and asked if all ok and where i was from etc. Nice touch!!

Does anyone know what happened to this place? It was open and then one day it just shut and hasn’t open since!

Always a friendly welcome. The food is good and especially the chips which are the best in the area. Good prices and hearty portions. Definitely recommend, we go at least once a week.
