Island Poke in Tower Hamlets

As french tourist we REALLY appreciated our lunch in Island Poke. The staff is extremely kind and adorable really it has been a wonderful surprise! Especially Nino thank you VERY much! Food, portions and quality were completely there as well! My friend and I would recommand it to you 1000 times!!! <3

Wow this place is amazing! Super fresh, generous serving, great price and yummy, they also have extra sauces for you to put on yourself and give friendly service! I had it two nights in a row.

Great food, fantastic service, but why is the music SO LOUD?! Its very, very, off-putting, makes it incredibly difficult to place an order and prompts me (and many of my colleagues) to question why I bother to give my custom to this branch. Head office, please take note and turn the music DOWN! I visit for food, not a nightclub!!

Poke was good. Choose one of the ready made house bowls or make your own. Good service, friendly and a nice bowl of poke. Clean. I had the yuzu lomi lomi which was divine. The sweetness of the mango went well with the fish. I was starving after work, hot day. This was perfect for a quick meal, refreshing too!

Expensive food what it is! You only get a few pieces of salmon and a ton of rice for the exorbitant price of £10! Not worth it. Eggplant as topping is quite heavy, didn't feel well after eating it....The staff working there is probably the reason why I won't be coming back! The black lady looked me in an arrogant way while I was choosing my toppings. Also the entire staff is extremely loud, joke with each other like teenagers in addition to the extremely loud music. There weren't many customers when I ate there, only 2 or 3, however I found the experience unpleasant and their attitude unprofessional. Won't be coming back!

1番スタンダードな、もう出来上がっているまぐろのポケボウルをオーダーしたら、パイナップルが入っていました。びっくり！ちゃ んと読めば書いてありました。7.85ポンドでした。自分で具材を選ぶこともできます。ポイントカードがあるので、何度も通うようだったらカード作ってもいいかもしれません。

Poped by for the first time after work. Poke has intrigued me for a while but I hadn't ever tried it. I thought the food was just brilliant heard the staff cheering and ringing a bell. They explained it was for someone completing their loyalty scheme and getting a free bowl. They even gave me a voucher for a £1 bowl if I signed up through their app. Amazing service!

Delicious fresh food, so many combinations available, seating limited, reasonable prices but additional 20% for eating in! Friendly helpful staff

Staff v accommodating & helpful. Thanks! :-) Can select standard poke dishes or create your own. Reasonable selection of toppings. Tasty kimchi. Food is fresh, tasty and good quality. Rice is well prepared. Flat white surprisingly good. Wasn’t expecting as it’s not a “coffee destination” as such. Coffee much better than standard high street versions. Coffee portion size also good. I paid £3.50 extra for double fish portion (1 portion = 1 small scoop), but even with the extra portion, there wasn’t quite enough fish. I may have missed it, but more sauce selection would be great. More salad/veg topping options would ask be nice. Japanese pickles perhaps? Would recommend this place, but would recommend they they reconsider the fish portions.
