The best restaurants serving American food in London

Go here all the time for a pint and often get kids meal as it's one of the few small meals. Today though, the bartender refused to serve me it as i'm an adult... rather strange considering i get it at this exact brewdog (and other brewdogs) all the time and it's never been an issue. Now suddenly it's against the rules. Pretty ridiculous.

the burger was nice but the tables were really tiny and way too close together and I felt really exposed sat in the middle of the restaurant with people constantly walking directly behind my chair every minute moved to the window seat when someone left that was better the prices were quite expensive at £16 for a burger and fries and the drink selection was really small with it being just coke or lemonade then when it came instead of being given a cup I was given a can of diet coke and a tiny jar that couldn't even fit the contents of the can and it had a really wide rim that made drinking from it really uncomfortable when we finished eating they took the plates they didn't bring the payment machine and we had to ask 3 times over the course of 10 minutes then when they did they added a 10% service charge without telling me adding £3 to the meal the receipt said discretionary but they never asked or told me so it wasn't discretionary they just stole £3 from me and even if it was discretionary that just weaponises guilt to make you pay more than was advertised on the menu would not recommend

Overpriced, slow service and I found a hair in my food. Worst place I have eaten in a long time. Would not recommend.

Really small venue with great sound, drinks reasonable for Central London

The last 2 times we have been staff seemed irritable - service was lacklustre, unrefined and slow. Sparkling wine was flat and not chilled, when I politely asked for it to be changed the waiter came across annoyed. They seem to store drinks outside as they prioritise the courtyard area. New snacks are stale and put us off ordering from the menu. Fine for a pub but not for an establishment like The American Bar. I don’t mind wild life but having pigeons in the bar hopping around causing chaos could be avoided by vigilant staff!!Hopefully management jump onto this as the bar was one of our favourites.

Went to get small fries and forced to pay for tips. Even if you work in local area there is not respect. Not coming back again here.

Enjoyable experience. Arsham was an excellent host and the small plates menu wss very good. We had an incredible offer.

Great steak dinner while on a work trip. Staff were lovely (served by Sade D who was great). Had the steak sampler and it was delicious, as was the glass on wine. Looking forward to more work trips

The staff were lovely but the food was super disappointing and didn't really match the pictures. Really expensive for what it was. Plus the gluten free bun did not taste good at all.

What a wonderful experience. Staff were so courteous and attentive, food was amazing. Lovely atmosphere. When we had finished eating they presented me with Birthday cake. Had the best time, would not hesitate to return. Highly recommend
