Came for Sunday dinner today and couldn’t fault it. The service was warm and friendly from the start. Order food and drinks at the bar and all staff were so nice. Sunday roast was so tasty, we both had beef and it was cooked perfectly. Tasty and cut into it like butter. Rest of the roast was fresh and everything was tasty. Being a proper Yorkshireman the best part was the gravy! Tasted proper beefy and not had gravy like that since moving to Wales. Would definitely come back, thank you :)

This is one of the best hotel I have stayed at with my husband and three young kids (8months-5yrs). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend this hotel. The room had everything we needed, we had a joining room and it was perfect, our kid slept all night in their own beds for the first time ever! The breakfast was delicious, nice and simple. The location was perfect for us, we went out for a walk along the water front while my husband went to out for a business meeting. Our kids saw snow for the first time, which made it very special. Thank you for all the staff who made our stay special and memorable.

What to say, we picked the wrong evening to go and obviously it was our fault. We booked a table for two on the same evening as the fireworks display (2nd Nov’24) how were we to know? (We are tourists) Once shown to our table, which were situated in the middle of the main walkway between the restaurant and the outdoor seating. We kindly asked the server whether we could change seating, to which she promptly replied, no. The restaurant is fully booked so not possible at all. Even though there were plenty of empty seats throughout the same time period which we spent in the restaurant. Once ordered the food arrived quickly at our table, we both had the burger which were delious. Good size burger that came with plenty of fries. Unfortunately our food came out just as the fireworks display started, which meant it was like eating you dinner in the middle of a highway, people walking in, out and past our table constant for 30 min, on top of that we had to get up from our table to close the door to the outside minimum four to five times. When paying the bill, I kindly asked the manager whether we could get a compensation against helping them to close the outside door so many times. I should never had asked because I was rudely told off. First of all I was purely my own fault to book a table on such a busy evening. On top of that I was informed that the they serve on first come first serve basis. I stopped arguing my case because this was going nowhere. The table we sat at, table 16, should never have been in service that evening, the location of that table were so inconvenient for all parties. Due to the attitude of the management in this place we will not come again. We as paying customers did not feel welcomed at this place.

The Crwys is a prime example of a well managed pub. The staff are all obviously hand picked by Dan the manager and provide an excellent service. Dylan, was exceptional offering a warm and friendly welcome and exceptional bar service. It's a great pub. Jeff Another great early evening at our favourite pub. Terrific staff, great service and quality food. We had fish and chips which was amazing and exceptional value. They even serve Guinness Zero now and accept Blue Light card for discount on food. We really can't fault this place, it is so well run. A rarity these days. Thank you all. Jeff and Jane
