About 7 of us went to the ivy for my partners 50th birthday party and the food was delicious although my sister in law had to sent her steak back because she asked for 🔉 rare and it was bloody but another than that it was perfect the waiters where more than happy to help with anything you needed and the cocktails were lush best cocktail I've ever had think it was called raspberry la creme. They even give my mother in law a birthday dessert 😄

Work conference on a Sun/Mon in Nov. It’s a nice tidy modern hotel. The rooms are large and clean. But the shower is an annoying over bath with a hose. Not modern and you get a blast of cold before it warms up. The bed was very comfortable and large. The gym was poor - old fashioned running and x-trainer machines - which for a spa hotel was disappointing. Dinner was good - monk fish followed by excellent cheese - restaurant manager (American lady)deserves special mention. Breakfast was very good. Nice conference facilities. Lovely location next to the bay/water. Lots of parking.

We were visiting a local campsite and always try somewhere new each time that we visit. It was a great welcome. The building is very grand. All of the waiters and waitresses really looked after us and nothing seemed too much trouble. We all had starters which were gorgeous. I had the chicken chat. My wife had onion bhaji and our friends had garlic mushrooms and mixed meat kebab. The mains came with a reasonable gap and didn't disappoint. Mine was a balti. My wife had a sagg, our friends had a madrs and the ginger curry. It was all very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back. It was a great evening. Thanks guys. See you soon.

Booked a table for two online, arrived and booking hadn't been noticed by staff as they were busy. He said he'd look for a table for us and left us standing in the hall for 10 minutes and seemed to have forgotten us as he was servicing tables and washing dishes. If he couldn't find one would've been nice to know. After 10 more minutes of waiting not knowing if we'll be able to be seated (although we booked a table) we just left. It was quite busy, but if the pub is busy and hence not running properly - employ more staff. Or at least communicate that it had been forgotten and there's no space left instead of letting us stand in the hall not knowing what's going on.

Very nice restaurant with some very creative dishes, we did find it to be very expensive indeed. All of the main plates start at around £25 minimum and you will have to add cabs and veg as that only your protein. They have an exceptional wine selection with bottles starting from £30. Overall a nice night out but we won't be returning as we just can't justify the cost.
