Went there specifically for the allegedly lovely beer garden. Never found out as we couldn't get in. Two police vans in attendance on a Friday lunchtime...

You have to see this pubs beer garden!!! You'd pay money just to see a garden like this. Discovered it totally by accident. Ponds. Fountains a waterwheel. Stunning plants everywhere . A real wow factor!!! I'll try to post some photos

They no longer do food here (or weren't when I went). The owner (Paul) was lovely and it was nice to stop and have a drink. I forgot to take a picture inside but I loved the retro deco. Instead took a photo on the walk just over the bridge.

Lovely little place with a very welcoming owner. A bit of a throwback to yesteryear, but in a very familiar and appreciated way, it’s lovely that places like this still exist.

Awful atmosphere, very dark and dingy pub, went in for a few drinks and was told I wasn’t aloud anymore after 2 drinks ! (I am 19) even though there was older people (30+) that were on their 4th maybe 5th drink and they were aloud to carry on being served. Definitely wouldn’t Recommend

Mantle ale good, bit uninspiring ambience. Perhaps Snug Bar (closed) is better.

I would very much recommend this out of the way little community hub. It has a nice selection of drinks, alcohol or no. Closes earlier than most pubs, although sometimes there are events. It's pretty much over the road from some camping. Around Christmas, new years, beer festival, and such bring loads of people and fun. Friendly to friendly dogs and a nice place to bring your children. Limited parking. Warm welcome.

Lovely little find in the Pembrokeshire countryside! Cosy little pub serving real ale at its best! A gem of a walk directly over the bridge and on the right! Followed by a couple of refreshing pints in ' The Bont ' afterwards!!

Everything a small country pub should be beer was great (straight from the barrell??) & only £1 a pint. Crab salad better than anywhere else local, only drawback was difficult parking!

Having read previous reviews I cancelled our booking in the Harbour Inn and booked to eat here instead. The restaurant has clearly changed hands recently and we were in fact greeted by the new owner who was enjoying a glass of wine with his chef at a table by the entrance and when we mentioned we had booked a table he told us to sit wherever we liked....it wasn't busy! This very relaxed approach was fine in the circumstances and in fairness the owner did then give us a ringing endorsement of his chef. Fortunately he wasn't wrong. We had breaded whitebait which was spot on and I had a brilliant fish chowder that was worth every penny and more. My wife went with simple fish and chips which was basic but well cooked. Obviously this was at the very end of summer and everywhere has quietened down (when we walked back past the Harbour Inn after dinner it was almost empty) and this restaurant is in transition. Consequently it rather lacked atmosphere, but the food was both very tasty and excellent value so we felt it only right to tip generously.Hopefully as word gets round that there is a new owner and a good chef the trade will pick up.

Have stopped a couple of times, great drinks, made freshly by friendly ladies Great spot overlooking the beach and sea view (£2 for a can of pop is a bit much though)
