Fantastic food. Fantastic Service. Warm welcome every time. My waistline won't let me go too often. Looking forward to going back next week.

My wife was diagnosed coeliac back in March meaning that she can't eat anything containing gluten. This chippy is amazing. They offer gluten free options which are cooked in a separate fryer to avoid any risk of cross contamination. They even have gluten free vinegar. Thank you for taking such care and providing a safe version of fish and chips that my wife can once again enjoy.

Well, just simply the best chipshop in the whole of Carmarthen. They serve your food the old fashion way in paper and not in those awful poly trays

Lovely food and big portions, so glad it's not served in those horrible trays but in paper. Polite service by the staff and good prices. I shall return soon

Popped in to treat the family to the first chippy since lockdown-didn’t realise how much I missed this place till we got home, lovely fresh food and the portions if anything were too big, lovely food for the family once again with lovely staff serving. Pretty decent prices too- excited to come back again hopefully don’t have to wait another 3 months this time, now accepting card as well as cash which is good giving the current environment

We called in Friday evening we had fish and chips Bach and chips sausage and chips and it was beautiful as always staff were wonderful and polite the fish was a big portion mmm lovely chips were so nice . Glad to see that they take safety seriously with covid 19 the best chippy around always happy to help you will be back in your shop soon .

Picked up take away fish and chips and a steak and kidney pie. The chips were 'case hardened' and I suspect they had been previously cooked and then reheated. The batter on the fish was anoemic and not crisp. The flavour of the pie was not to my taste and the pastry was soggy. Trying to find something positive to say - it was a good size piece of fish and at least there were decent sized lumps kidney in the pie + the local birds had a good feed of chips, batter and pastry.

Came here for a take out Sausage and chips, was lovely, huge portions. Personally I think it's the best one in town

We went here as it was the only one we could find that catered for my mum who is coeliac. We all had fish and chips which was lovely. Staff were friendly and looked after my mum and reassured her that there was no contamination of food. Well recomended

We called in this chippy on the way down West. It's a small chippy but they can't do enough for you so helpful they do GLUTEN FREE FISH CHIPS SAUSAGES AND FISH FINGERS Which made my wife very happy she loved the fish and chips best she's had in years. Even gave our dog some water not many places do that as i say this is a beautiful chippy we will be back soon

The food here is terrible. The fish was greasy and the chips were the worst I have ever eaten. The only thing edible was the mushy peas. The atmosphere reminded me of a bad train station.

What a lovely chippy with cafe . Very friendly . Great tasting fish and chips . Got takeaway for myself and grandchildren to eat in the park just round the corner. Good prices fresh and hot food.

A very pleasant and friendly Fish Bar with traditional fishbar food and burgers on the menu. Can be used as a takeaway or very pleasant cafe area which is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is at the end of Lammas Street away from the very centre of the town but is well worth the short walk, you will not be disappointed. Opening times are 11.30 to 8.30

Este es sin duda mi favorito en chips visitamos Carmarthen. Sin duda el mejor maltratada cod que he tenido en la ciudad. El personal es siempre amable y eficiente.Buena selección de tartas caseras, rissoles son, además de una amplia gama de artículos que cocinarán para ti (nuggets, etc.) incluso una mazorca y patatas fritas.Yo preferiría si la salchicha en masa no era precocida luego re fritos en pasta, simplemente hace que la salchicha hecha (para ser justos, creo que la mayoría de los Chippys si no todo en la ciudad son culpables de esto), pero son estándar chips salchichas (se puede decir, ya que la piel es marrón bajo la pasta)La única razón por la que le he dado 5 estrellas es porque en envases ecológicos. Cada parte tiene una bandeja de poliestireno, a pesar de ser violada en una gran plaza de papel prueba bastaría. Hay opciones biodegradables de cartón que ahora no entiendo por qué más tiendas chip no los utilizan.De nuevo mi favorito y la primera opción en la ciudad. . .

I was in Carmarthen shopping and it was lunchtime, I th not hought lets go to the corocle I remember going there in the 8os. I walked in and wow what a difference, gone was the old pub I remembered istead was a thriving business selling food. i went and sat down, and ordered fish and chips and a coke, promptly along came a very good helping of fish and chips. the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. not the pub I remembered but this is progress.

i started coming here ever since my girlfriend was coeliac you can have fish and pies in gluten free flour so my girlfriend has gluten free fish and chips quite often each time I have come here the food has been lovely and each member of staff from schoolchildren to older have all been great so customer service is excellent and the premises is clean and the board is always full with advertisements of what is happening and of businesses in the town the chippy caters indoors and take away

Los Peces Coracle Bar situado al final de la calle principal de visitamos Carmarthen. A veces no es tan fácil para aparcar, pero muchos habitantes sólo basura su vehículo en la carretera y pop.Solía ser conocido como Williams Chippy cuando era un niño. Muchos lugareños lo recuerdan fattest corgi llamado Chip que lo enrollaba sobre ayuda a los clientes esperando su viaje ayuda colesterol a doggy el cielo. Situada en la parte tranquila de la calle principal es un restaurante más bien pequeño y, suponiendo que la ONU. Pequeño por dentro, pero el pescado y patatas fritas recién cocinados a la orden tan perfecto. Personal amable y frecuentado por la gente de precios parece estar a la altura de la zona. Recomendado.

This Fish Bar offers an excellent choice and the food is well cooked and well proportioned (both Take Away and served in their café). It is really good value for money.

The best in town by far have tried the rest but this is the best service in West Wales chips are cooked fresh as is the fish staff are very polite it's a joy to visit this shop

Ohhh, that batch and chip thing is to die for!!!So good, but soooo bad :-)It's a must!!!'You can go and spend £40 for a family elsewhere, and you will not be anywhere near as satisfied!

When shopping in Carmarthen always call here for chips. Lovely staff, excellent food and a friendly, homely atmosphere. Have been calling here since I was a child and will continue doing so.

I visited here last week after a business trip. I ate in the cafe and thoroughly enjoyed my food, it was really tasty and the portion was nice and generous. The staff were excellent especially the bright blonde, who was willing to help as much as she could to ensure I was happy. I will definately be returning and recommend this. The batch and chips is very tasty and is the only chip shop in Carmarthenshire who does this.

Recently tried this one as Morgans was closed. Disappointed, the portions were huge but the fish was mostly batter and the chips were soggy. Staff really friendly. Won't be going back.

Well, its tied with morgans, but morgans dont do a batch so this tips it for me! also the chips are lighter here, they dont feel like theyll kill you in one serving!

I visited the Fish bar yesterday after staying in a nearby B&B. The people were lovely and the food was absolutely tasty. I had the Cod & chips whilst my husband had the Batch & Chips. He said it was an absolute gem after our B&B proprietor told us that Coracle was the only one that sold them. Definitely would visit again if we're ever in Carmarthen.

wow we had a great time here the food was absolutely brilliant the 4 of us had a great meal for under £25.00 . The staf were very nice and very helpful the restaurant closed at 8 pm we got there for 10 past 8 pm and they let us in the restaurant and we did not leave till 9.40 pm there was no rush for us to leave the staf could not have been moer helpful we will be back for more

We called in on our way down West well we had the best chips for a long time the fish was absolutely beautiful we definitely be calling back on our way home the staff could not have been any more helpful very very good my boy had a bach and chips it looked so good that I will have one when we call in on our way home

went here one evening and some young schoolgirl still in her school uniform served me. no one else working! she had long blonde hair which was touching the chips so made excuses and left to go to a more hygienic place!! Also when i walked in she was sitting down having her food and eating with herv fingers and didnt wash hands

Staying in Carmarthen for a couple nights in order to visit St David's and wanted traditional fish and chips after a long train journey. That was exactly what I got at an excellent price! The food was fresh cooked and piping hot and even I struggled to get through it all! Huge light battered cod and chips, bread and butter, washed down with a big mug of tea and all for gbp 7,00. Nothing pretentious, just good well cooked food.
