The best restaurants in Wales

Ate here this evening. The pub itself was very busy. Not a problem, seemed a friendly local atmosphere. Very good menu.. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Spoiled ourselves with 2 fillet steaks. 1 rare and 1 medium both cooked to perfection 👌🏼. Crispy fresh onion rings were spot on!! Off the back of this evenings experience I would definitely recommend eating here. 👍🏼

Wonderful food , very friendly, and really good value for the portion size , plenty of meat and vegetables in all our dishes. Will 100% visit again next time we are in Carmarthen. Diolch yn fawr

Absolutely love calling at Dyffryn - staff always so friendly and the food is gorgeous - the thought of having the sweet chilli beef keeps me going. Cannot rate it highly enough.

We had a fab meal here on a Tuesday evening. We ordered the mix mezze to start, all the dips were tasty, salads very fresh and we swapped out the rice dish for the fattoush salad which was superb. The halloumi was well cooked and delicious and the falafel amazing, just the right amount of crunch with a fluffy, herby inside. For main we shared one dish as we knew between us we would be full quickly. We had the mixed grill and weren't disappointed. The chicken was tender and juicy, def our fave.. As expected we couldn't finish and grabbed it as a takeaway with a side of tabbouleh which we at this evening. One stand out was the staff, I think the owner, he was just lovely. We will definitely be back.

Great traditional pub. No gimmicks, TV etc. Great service from Bar Staff.

Had barbecue burger with cheese sauce . The cheese sauce didn’t taste anything like cheese. Chips looked pale tasteless . Garlic and cheese bread had no taste like eating rubber. Won’t be coming back 😩
