We stop here when whenever we are able encounter from Kent to Bow Street. Always amazing!!

Great place to stop for refreshments on the way to/from the coast.

A nice place to get refreshments on the way to Barmouth. Dog friendly but we were pouted at by the woman in charge, to sit outside but it was full. You have to buy something to use the toilets and it has to be over £5.00!

Waited exactly an hour for our Breakfast, ended up finishing two coffees whilst waiting, I was served toast 20 minutes before the actual breakfast, so it went cold :-( Cleanliness is….not a strength here, cob webs everywhere, dirty sits and we had to have our cutlery changed as it was stained. Quality of food ok, average, nothing special at all. Basically….never again! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Lovely Cafe with excellent food and service. Stopped here during our journey and wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised how nice it is. I do recommend the welsh cakes with a nice coffee they were lovely.

Even though they were short staffed at the time every effort was made to accommodate everyone and as far as I'm concerned they succeeded. The food was lovely. We did not have to wait very long. Dogs are welcome and a water bowl was provided, which our dog was very thankful for. I would recommend stopping here

Lovely cafe on the main road so you can't miss it. Friendly staff, clean premises, delicious fresh food, my mates had the full English which they said was delicious. Would definitely recommend a stop here for good food with amazing scenery. Seating is both inside and out with lots of car (and motorbike) parking.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this nice cafe and restaurant in the hills of Wales as we were driving back into England. It has a huge car park and is in a nice location. Friendly and efficient staff and reasonable prices. A recommended stop.

The Coffee and walnut cake was Mega! It had to be home made, and couldn't be improved. Never really had a sweet tooth but it was amazing. The tea was nice, and the staff were polite and friendly.

Very nice food, lovely service, cafe on way to/from Barmouth. Plenty free parking. Very clean and excellent home made chocolate shortcake with home made toffee, absolutely superb.

Drove up from Wolverhampton and desperately in need of sustenance. Friendly welcome on arrival. Full Welsh and cheese on toast for Carol, pot of tea while waiting. Breakfast was excellent: sausages were real; bacon was proper bacon, good and thick and cooked. Eggs were properly cooked; no runny whites (snotters). Toast, beans and tomatoes spot on. Carol always has my hash browns. Carol had a small pot of chutney with her cheese on toast and I've now got to hunt some down for home. Only downside? Stainless steel hot water top-up pot has usual spout problem - water goes goes everywhere bar the teapot if you are not careful. This place is well signposted and should attract plenty of custom. Dining area, staff, food all excellent. Even the washrooms were immaculate. 10/5

Stopped off at the cafe on the way back to London from doing Snowdon Hike, accommodated a group of 15 lads with no hassle at all, it was a busy sunday morning !! The breakfast was outstanding, everything was perfect, the 3 ladies working were all brilliant and looked after all tables with no issues. Very highly recommend this place, see you soon !!

Lovely place great coffee and sevice

The Dyffryn cafe is spectacularly set in a curve of the A458 as it winds its way towards the mid Wales coast. It is beautifully decorated with superb views out of the front windows. We stop here whenever we can whether for a quick coffee or a meal. It is a real highlight of the mountain trip. The food is great with a breakfast and full lunch menu. But the piece de resistance is the polite and enthusiastic service of all the staff. There is obviously a passion, it is more than a job. They know they have a jewel and it shows in their service. Long may it reign over this glorious landscape.

Found this on route to north wales. We loved it so much we stopped on our way back home. Great food, friendly staff. Would come back here again next time I visit wales

We googled this cafe as it was en route to a walk we were going to in Mid Wales. The reviews were great and we agree. We had a warm welcome and lovely cooked breakfast and sat outside in the sunshine with the beautiful hills around.

Always come here when in Wales. Never disappoints.

Thank you for a lovely meal on Easter saturday. We had enjoyed a lovely walk at lake Vrnwy a stumbled across this beautiful restaurant. The decor was emaculate, the food gorgeous and the service first class well done to you all. My wife gives you a ten on her Sconometer.

Found this little gem dy accident due to a diversion appearance great from the landscaping outside to the clean interior food amazing staff outstanding nothing to much trouble we where a party of 4 adults and one child . great choice of food and drinks made to feel extremely welcome I would highly recommend

I was lucky enough to visit on a warm sunny morning when I could sit outside and take in the great views whilst enjoying a lovely breakfast and a great cup of coffee. Highly recommended.

20 bikers turned up we were one group and another group of biker arrived at the same time. 3 young girls served us very slow hot chocolate was luke warm drank it straight away. Shame seems like a very popular place for motorbikes and other travellers. Girls you were lovely but you need to speed up and be on it more. Ps I have been a waitress myself so know how it works. Not a criticism just observed

Stopped for refreshments on the way to Lake Vyrnwy, the hot chocolate and Victoria sponge were delicious, the weather was beautiful, so sat outside.

We stopped on our way to the coast was made very welcome which extended to our dog. The cake,teas and coffees we had were well made.

Food is always first class we love the large breakfast with thick tasty bacon, hash browns, proper sausages, perfect eggs, beans and tomatoes grilled to perfection. If your meal doesn't fill you up (though can't see how it wouldn't) there are the most amazing cakes to indulge in and also they stock a huge range of drinks

Lovely cafe on my route to the coast, been a few times for coffee and their lovely cake but must say the meals that are being served look awesome and by how busy they were, it must be good food.

A delightful cafe with efficient and friendly servers. The site is directly off the main road and there is good parking and an area outside to eat/drink. My meal was delivered very quickly and was reasonably priced. This was my first visit to this cafe and will not be my last. A recommended stop.

A fabulous cafe just off the main road. Spacious, clean, great staff, great service and the breakfast was delicious. A large tip was handed to the staff for a job well done. It would be remiss of you to drive past without sampling what these guys have to offer. Well impressed.

We stopped here for a quick bite. The staff were alright. We had to ask for cutlery, tissues and water- would've been nice if the table was set before accommodating us.
