Charlotte and holly were amazing and so inviting ,always had drinks in our hand and happy vibes were amazing and drinks were out of this world!!

Very quiet for a Friday night. The staff were very friendly and attentive but the cocktails were absolutely abysmal. You expect them to be expensive but once we'd removed the totally unnecessary slab of ice from our drinks there was little more than a mouthful. Will not be returning

Wow, wow, and wow!!! I stumbled upon Lab 22 on accident, and I couldn’t have been happier that I did. For a top ranked bar, you would never know it by how humble and down to earth the staff is, but as soon as you order a drink, you will be blown away by the complexity of the flavors in parallel with the humility and approachability of the cocktail. Not feeling anything that fits your fancy, the AMAZING bartenders will whip you up something that’s unique and to your liking. Having been to multiple of the top ranked bars around the world, this one is 10000% worth the hype and worth a visit. My only regret was that I couldn’t try more cocktails on my first visit (I was and am always a responsible consumer of alcohol). Bonus the fact that the cocktails are under 10 GBP!!! Not sure what to get, get anything that looks interesting to you, you won’t be disappointed.

One of our favourite places to come when we are in Cardiff. Excellent menu, lots of choice and fabulous service. We were served by Charlotte who was great, very knowledgeable, chatty and friendly. We will always return here when we can!

I tried to enter with my partner, and they refused us entry without explanation, I don't know if it was because of racism because we are Spanish, or because of homophobia, but it is a place I will not return to and which I will speak badly about, because word of mouth is what counts. What I hope is that such a place falls soon. Rubbish

We have been denied entry for no reason, we have been told that it was full when it was clearly because we were Spanish, we work here as doctors and I have never in my life felt so disrespected, a place to avoid at all costs, the racialized person at the door was rude and unmannered. I am giving it one star because I cannot give it less, if you do not want to be offended and treated like garbage do not come to this place.

Lovely bar with great atmosphere, music and superb stuff, they are friendly, welcoming and just amazing. The Cocktails were fantastic and it was great to try new varieties that are their speciality.

I recently visited Lab22 with my boyfriend and his work colleagues, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lovely, creating a perfect setting for a fun night out. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, all reasonably priced. I definitely plan on coming back again for more great drinks and a wonderful time!

Came here with some work colleagues for a few drinks, the atmosphere and service were really good, but more importantly the cocktails were amazing too and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

If you're looking for a bar with quality, this is it. Great decor, great service, and the bar tenders really know what they are doing when it comes to cocktails. The music is brilliant, and the vibes are first class. Darren showed us to our table, and within seconds, we had water, and we were placing our drinks order, he looked after us really well, our table was never without a cocktail or 3 haha. There is a cocktail here for everyone, and they are well balanced and well priced. We came here 8 months ago and were not disappointed on our second visit. It was just as good as the first time. Lastly, if you're having shots, I recommend O.F.T.D

One of the best bars I’ve ever been to anywhere. Stunningly well thought out cocktails, fab service, and an incredible menu. I’d have happily have completed the menu if I hadn’t needed to dash off after a few rounds, but I would travel to Cardiff to specifically go to this bar. Go here; you won’t regret it.

Went 2 days ago for some cocktails and omg I love the venue as well as how the drinks are presented. The ice cubes in the drinks have got Einstein etched on it?! 😭 It's got exceptional service as well, the waiters were very attentive and super sweet! Definitely will be coming more often!!

Been here maybe 4-5 times on Monday nights for the jazz. It is absolutely class. The servers are so attentive, friendly and down to earth. The place itself is beautiful and my god are the cocktails insane as well. I’ve had some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life here. The vibes are always immaculate, and I’ve never had a bad experience. We usually have a specific spot and once a waitress even went to the length of getting us the table we usually have by offering the guests sat there a better table. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Whenever we have visitors, we always book in a Lab 22 spots, brilliant atmos, top notch service, excellent music. Best in class!

Exceptional service by Dilon, very kind and respectful , he also recommend drinks to my liking . My girlfriend wasn't feeling well at the time so we had to leave early, the few drink that we had we're very pleasant. If you are in Cardiff be sure to give lab 22 a visit.

After a couple of menu cocktails which were great Lottie sat with us and listened to what we liked and came back with 2 of the best cocktails we have ever had. Totally coming back here again!

Very classy cocktail bar with a great vibe. The menu of drinks is great and the way it has been put together is well thought out. I particularly loved the back of the menu as to where you should go next around cardiff. Great supporting local business. 100% come back again next time we are back in Cardiff.

Went out with colleagues I'm 50 something their average age 20 to 25. Made sure I was OK a bit banter saying my OAP bus pass is not acceptable ID .

Great cocktails and a nice atmosphere

Always great service here. Staff are so well trained, genuinely interested in getting you the thing your tastbuds want and friendly to the max. Reasonably priced bevs for the money too, which is nice to see (even if you go off menu, which seems to bring some genuine delight!). Has been a top spot for libations for a number of years and I don't see that changing.

Such a nice atmosphere here. Staff were absolutely amazing. Was served by David he was really chatty, super speedy, gave some great recommendations and made us feel at home. Went on bank holiday Monday which was suppose to be jazz/ 1920s vibe ... maybe could have played some more classic jazz numbers xD was more like 80s night music xD but still had a lovely time :) defo going again.

Monday nights at Lab are my favourite Easter egg of the Cardiff scene. Top tier cocktails, jazz, vibes, and location. If you’re looking for a spot in Cardiff, Lab is the place to go. The cocktails are amazing, and on Mondays it’s live jazz night- what more could you ask for. My server, David, made sure that we were filled up on drinks the entire night. Great place would go again

Excellent little greek restaurant doing really tasty food. Take away or sit in. Small seating area at the front and inside at the back, would highly recommend.

After about 4 years away from Cardiff we returned to this cocktail bar to see what had changed. Upon entering it may seem busy but we were were very quickly snapped up by the amazing staff and offered a seat and table service on a Friday night ! The menu is probably up there with my favourites for its fun. The wonderful David made sure to clear up questions we had and always seemed to appear just when our glasses were empty. This bar is and continues to to be the best spot for an experience you’ll remember!

This place is one of the best cocktail bars I have ever been to. Always a great atmosphere. Great service and the cocktails are amazing. The "Concrete Daisy" is a spin on a Margarita. It comes with this little honey biscuit/wafer. I have at least 2 every time I come here. Genuinely one of my favourite drinks. No trip to Cardiff (if drinking) is complete without a stop here.

Very cool upstairs cocktail lounge with, arguably, the smartest menu of theme drinks you'll see anywhere. They examine intellectual ideas like epistemology, ecology, and black holes to create delicious drinks. The menu contains a chart that actually addresses most of your questions about, "Is it sweet?" "What is the alcohol level?" and more. The staff are VERY warm and friendly. The atmosphere is chill and funky. The music when we were there was a mix of underground hip-hop and house. If you are into drinks as an 'experience,' definitely go here!
