Fabulous food and excellent service. It was very busy the evening we went (Wednesday), the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Very reasonable prices for both food and drink. We highly recommend Scaramantica Cardiff.

Practically faultless! Service was fantastic, prompt, friendly with good-humoured jokes, offered to take a photo of the group. Food was delicious, well priced and didn't take too long to come out. Adjustments (e.g. adding gorgonzola) were made without complaint. The only small niggle was the section of burnt crust on my pizza. Would recommend 👌

Scaramantica Pizzeria is hands down one of the best pizzerias in Cardiff! From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The pizza is simply outstanding – the crust is light, airy, and perfectly charred, just like a true Neapolitan pizza should be. I tried the “La Scaramantica” pizza, and the combination of fennel sausage, goat cheese, truffle honey, and walnuts was an explosion of flavors! You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients, which makes all the difference. On top of that, they have a great selection of cocktails and wines that pair perfectly with the food. The service was fast, professional, and super friendly. If you’re a pizza lover, this is a must-visit spot in Cardiff! I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

We have dinned at Scaramantica many times and we have always been so pleased with the service and the food! Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to try authentic Italian made by real italians. 10/10

Garlic bread, no garlic Asked for pizza very well done and was very undercooked rubbish

Ordered the starter meat and cheese platter that comes with focaccia bread. What I actually got was a dry pizza base with meat and cheese on top sliced as a pizza. If I wanted a dry cheese and ham pizza I would have ordered one. This was not a platter or what was described. Also requested disposable utensils as it was an option and I ordered the tomato and buffalo caprese salad which I could not eat due to having no cutlery in the hotel room.

Just ordered this evening on Uber Eats. Food was cold so I reviewed it as such as I was disappointed.. When I called the restaurant for a refund, a lovely gentleman couldn't apologise enough, Re made the order and delivered it himself so I take the uber eats review back! Food is hot and tasty! The best pizza i've ever tasted. Ordered via UberEats the other day, the order was wrong but UberEats sorted that, but even so the pizza i got was absolutely amazing. Cannot wait to eat here again.

Bit cold in there at this time of year (December), standard pizza menu - not terribly tasty to me. The calamari were tender but the sauce was pretty revolting, No lemon either. Staff really nice , get a better chef and sort out insulation to make a cozy pizza restaurant where food doesn't taste like Domino's

My first time to Scaramantica today. I ordered the vegano pizza to take away at lunch time. The atmosphere inside was lovely and my order was completed really quickly, great service. Pizzas always spot on. Good variety too and also caters to GF, vegans. Visited again today after a brief hiatus, and still as good as ever. The service was excellent too, felt like we were having a meal at a family member's house!

Terrible experience. Ordered 2 pizzas using UberEats, the pizzas was completely different from the ones showed here on Google by other customers. Not sure why there was so much difference, they seemed frozen pizzas badly cooked and burnt on the sides. The rider also delivered the wrong order, and the additional fries were missing. I'm not sure what happened, but I've attached a photo that should be self-explanatory. While part of the bad experience is due to UberEats, the pizzas were still unacceptable. I really feel scammed.

Lovely food, quick service and a lot of choice across the menu.

I had the wonderful time a few months ago of the kindness and hospitality available at Scaramnatica Pizzeria. Their friendly and welcoming service was outstanding - I didn't actually come into to have their food, I was doing some things for work and they were kind enough to shelter me from the rain and allow me to have my own lunch. Even with that they provided me with my own closed area to have food so as to not disturb customers as well as a full bottle of water to enjoy at my own pace. I can't wait to come back to enjoy their food and relish in their hospitality once again 😊

A fantastic experience! We booked for a group of 15, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to provide prompt, professional service despite the large party. Special mention to Benjamin, who was very attentive and welcoming! The food was outstanding—clean plates all around. We’ll definitely be back!

First time eating here, myself and 2 friends shared 2 starters and 2 pizzas between us which was more than ample, even took some pizza home! Food was delicious. Good selection of drinks. Staff were friendly. Sat outside in the sun. Really pleasant.

Wanted a quick meal before catching a train. Service was super fast and the pizzas were excellent. We visited on a Wednesday evening and were pleased that we had booked as it was busy at 6pm.

Got me surprised by quite a pizza 🙌🏻

Authentic Italian pizza in Cardiff.

Ordered 3 pizzas and a share platter with Uber. Delivery driver got lost, all food arrived cold, daughter’s pizza was burnt and lacked topping. Pizzas in general are very thin, lack topping and limp in the centre and the crust is very chewy, burnt and hard work to get through. When contacted they blamed it on Uber and said it was not their fault it was cold and offered to ‘reheat it if we brought it back to them’. Didn’t pay £40 to have cold, burnt or reheated birthday food. No offer made to reimburse, no offer to send out fresh and hot replacements as they don’t have drivers. Really poor service. Won’t be using them again and complete waste of money. Party ruined and food ended up in the bin.

Pizza looked good but turned out to be quite average. Ingredients tasted cheap, watery tomato base, truffle in truffle honey was nowhere to be found, in fact nor was the honey itself, which just tasted like sugar water. Dough itself was the best thing about it.

I ordered some food and the food wasn't warm. We had a Pizza Margherita which was like frozen and the pasta Bolognese wasn't bursted with any flavour. The Bruscetta was also horrible as it was completly sloppy. Also the cutlerys I ordered didn't even arrive...

Excellent pizzas, friendly staff

We were a walk in, accommodating us very quickly but it was empty.... Bit chaotic midway through meal as the restaurant filled up quickly, staff moving tables around the restaurant.... Service became slow and lethargic.... Food looked great... But the quality wasn't the same.... Personally.... Got the bill, then waited 20 mins for a free staff member to pay it. Wish I could give it more as the staff were friendly enough.... But 3 stars is where it was for me.... On this occasion....

Stunning pizza...had la mama 😍 only thing I'd say is they need to take the salad off the pizza. Garlic bread was so good and staff friendly. The decor is very odd though.

On a Friday night you don’t expect much but the food was really good and the service was really friendly and fast! The staff seemed genuinely happy that you were happy. The drinks were very good and came in glasses that were a bit tacky but not in a bad way - in a way that’s a conversation starter. Very affordable as well. Overall, a very nice place and absolutely made my partners birthday.

Ordered a takeaway margherita pizza and it was delicious! Loads of cheese, great flavour, delicious dough with a lovely crust and it came within just 20 mins. Looking forward to trying something else from the menu when I visit the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Second time to visit this place … the pizzas are incredible. True authentic Italian pizzas and great service in the heart of Roath! As a creature of habit, I’ve had the same pizza on each visit and it never left me done! The Scaramantica pizza is the best, honey, pine nuts and goats cheese - what a beautiful combination! Yum

Review is in reference to an Uber Eats delivery and not an eat in meal. Pizza delivered vertical in carriage with toppings and base compressed to one side. Food returned to restaurant as proof of issue. Refund not possible as stated to be done through Uber eats. Ordering from this restaurant using Uber Eats in Cardiff is ill advised due to transport issues. Otherwise good food on previous visits.

Just had the most delicious meal at Scaramantica. Starters were incredible... balls with mozzarella and spinach in them, then huge prawns with toasted sourdough bread with a delicious sauce and fresh side salad. Both our pizzas had delicious dough bases and toppings and such a great selection- we struggled to choose! Service also impeccable, in a warm cosy environment 😀 Thank you scaramantica!

We had a delightful experience at Scaramantica for our friend's birthday party! Amazing service, amazing food - the best Italian pizza and Italian experience in Cardiff! Giuseppe took care of every detail, kept checking on us and helped with taking great photos. We felt very relaxed and had a wonderful time in this cosy vibe. Thank you for being so wonderful! Faultless. Food Fantastic. High quality of ingredients. Staff Fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. No rush service, would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. Granted this is for Pizza but I think additional option for Steak and Lamb would be a great additional choice as you have perfected what you do serve and I would happily come back and sample something else again.
