Driven past for more than 30 years ...first time there on a Wednesday ...great atmosphere friendly staff and patrons alike great beer and a great place ...very dog friendly

Fantastic micro brewery and pub. Lovely staff and tasty beer. My only disappointment was that i couldnt stop longer. Traditional pub where locals and visitors mix. Welcome and warm inside. Bus stop outside on the route back to Swansea. I recommend the Pilot Brewery Gold. A golden ale which was tremendous. A definate recommend.

Called in for a drink after a meal in Mumbles. The afternoon we visited was very busy so we had a job to find a seat but we did. Even though it was busy the service was excellent and there was a good atmosphere. There is also a good choice y drinks.

A lovely old-fashioned pub looking out across the bay. Micro-brewery and other cask ales. Pilot Gold a great beer! No music, just the sound of conversation!

Great locals pub. Good prices. Good hosts. The ability to engage in a conversation without having to shout over music is a bonus. Unbeatable views from the window seats.

Wonderful micro-brewery with a buzzing tap-room serving half a dozen hand-pumped real ales.. Obviously very popular as it was so busy when we visited at about 3pm on a Saturday. They're doing an excellent job and the proof was in the pudding, so to speak. We are CAMRA members and lifelong real ale lovers and we couldn't fault it! Keep up the good work, lads!

Can't comment on food, we only dropped in for a quick drink and to use the loos on a windy, cold day. Great atmosphere, friendly efficient staff, clean toilets, lots of dogs, (very friendly dogs and very dog friendly) good selection of beers plus tea and coffee. Very reasonable prices. We shall visit often.

Was at The Pilot last week. Can't remember the last time I saw Draught Bass on sale...absolutely perfect condition pint...and £3.70! Then had Pilot Gold...brewed on the premises...another perfect pint. Locals very chatty, great atmosphere, great selection of beers , great prices too!! 👍

Came for a couple of Ciders on Sunday afternoon after a longwalk. The young boy behind the bar talking about football was soo friendly and warm and welcoming, he treats everyone soo lovely and makes you want to stay here forever. The prices are really good. This is a beautiful welcoming local pub with great staff. This is in a great location, we sat by the window and looked out to the sea and people watched. It was perfect. Come and visit, you will not be Disappointed. It's everything a good pub should be and more.

Always been one of my favourite Mumbles pubs. Never earen there though.

By far one of the best pubs I've been to! Great beer, fantastic atmosphere and owners who love their job. Best spot: sitting by the windows looking over Swansea Bay.

We normally visit on a Sunday with our dog Lemmy. He loves it here almost as much as we do! Very dog friendly pub and when it’s not too busy they get a little dog treat too. Very friendly staff, highly recommend a visit

Initially, it seemed like a lovely local pub!! We were there for the rugby match Ireland v England 2023 Gram Slam!!! Ireland won🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪☘️ and they turned the tv off! I continued to look at footage from my phone and the land lady came and told me to turn it the volume down😡😡😡 very annoyed as I thought Wales would have been be supported of Ireland. We had been there for the whole match spending some money in this pub! Mumbles is a very very nice place, but would not return to this pub again unfortunately, because of the land lady! Very unfriendly 🙄

Fine pub with good mix of traditional, local and trendy beer on tap. Also ciders, nice views and good atmosphere. Sometimes an older crowd, sometimes more mixed .

Excellent, welcoming atmosphere, beer brewed on the premises. We had a very enjoyable break in The Gower, and The Pilot was one the highlights - alongside the beautiful coastal path, beaches etc. We'll be back!

Proper pub. Relaxed quiet atmosphere. Really good selection of ales. A local landmark with lots of memorabilia to show for it. Good location. Could have sat here all day and chilled out.

Reasonable pub, it has its own brew, which is ok but I have tasted better. Friendly staff, but the atmosphere was definitely of the male persuasion, rather than couple orientated, would probably pop in for a pint, but not for a night out.

By far the best real ale pub in Mumbles. Local microbrewery, welsh beers and top national beers. A brilliant selection, also some craft on draught. Usual suspects also draught to go with lots of cider. Great view, staff, locals and beer. If you don't stop here for one (or more) then you have missed out. Dog friendly too

Not as busy as it used to be but Mumbles doesn't have a fraction of the pubs as it used to have
