The best restaurants in West Wales

We had a High Easter Tea (takeaway) and it was incredible, wonderful food, tasty, well packed and it was so enjoyable. We have had food in their cafe some time ago and that was great too, and this time too it was great value for money.

Would've liked a vegetarian roast for my mother's day lunch and not pasta as very jealous of vegetables on offer 😜

We had a table of 23 over the Easter weekend, drinks and food service was quic. Sunday roasts were delicious and plenty of veg and gravy to go with it. Brilliant service all round thank you, we'll be back

Good beer and rustic charm . Food now available throught the summer season by independent outside catering .Very good too . lovely views with the tide in . Brilliant spot for seasonal events which are aplenty . BBQ events advertised on main road.Bike meets every other weds in season with burgers , sausages and ice cream for sale ..Very well attended.

A friend highly recommended this Fish and Chips the first time I visited Carmarthen 17 years ago. He's gone to a better place now. God bless his soul. I remembered thinking that it was the best fish and chips. Never had a chance to try it again until now and it still taste as good. Only problem was there were too much chips for anyone trying to keep to a low carb diet. Hopefully won't have to wait another 17 years to try again.

Absolutely excellent curry house. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend. Various different curries order within our group and everyone enjoyed.

🍽️ We finally made it to The White Lion in Felinfoel for their Sunday carvery and WOW — why didn’t we come sooner?! 💷 £10.95 for a “small” (it’s definitely not small) and £13.95 for a large… honestly unreal value for how much food you get. 👶 Our little one (20 months) ate completely free – such a lovely touch for families! 🥦 The veg was fresh and cooked just right – not mushy, not hard, just spot-on. 🍞 The cranberry stuffing? Sweet, herby, and SO moreish. 🧄 The roasties had that golden crisp edge and soft fluffy inside — proper homemade feel. 🥩 Meat was carved fresh, still juicy and tender, with loads of options (we had turkey + beef). 🫕 And the gravy… thick, rich, full of flavour – real gravy, not the watery kind. 🍽️ It honestly felt like your Mam’s Sunday dinner but YOU get to build the plate. Comfort food at its finest. 🔥 And get this – the midweek Wednesday carvery is only £6.95?! That’s lunch sorted.
