Carew Inn Ltd in Pembrokeshire

Had mothers day meal today, and must be honest I'm dissapointed. I know they are busy today, but food was bland and not much care taken with quality of cooking. Shame because we've had many nice meals there over the years.

We've been to the Carew inn a few times now and never been disappointed,the food is delish😋I don't normally write a review but today I felt I had to, nothing is too much trouble and the staff they have are the best in Pembrokeshire!! Ur doing a fantastic job😍Thanx xx

The food is always good at Carew Inn! Me and my partner live near by so we come here now and then for a treat and it never lets us down. Staff are so lovely, atmosphere is really nice and a great location. Food comes out piping hot and fresh. Drinks service is quick too. Prices are good for the portions you can get. 100% recommend if you’re visiting Pembrokeshire or visiting Carew Castle.

This was booked as a last-minute night away. So, I was not expecting too much. However, this place has blown me away. An extremely warm welcome from the friendly staff. Who could not do enough for us. The room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We were planning on going to tenby for food. After a few drinks in the bar. How every we decided to stay and have food in the pub. which turns out to be a great decision. Food was excellent cooked clean and grease free. As I had a stake and chips. The portions were plentiful. Breakfast was just as good. This is a little welsh diamond of a place. A great area to explore and visit. I would definitely becoming back in the future. 10/10

Called in for a coffee and tea after a beautiful walk around the castle. Made to feel very welcome as was our dog. We will.be going back.

Had a quick lunch here, two beef burgers and fries, soft drinks, in front of a nice fire in the cosy, snug like bar. Have to be honest, best beef burger I’ve had in years. 6oz of Welsh beef, every bit of it sumptuous. Super nice food. Super, friendly service from the two gorgeous ladies too. I did think it was a bit over the top to threaten that we wouldn’t be allowed to leave unless we ate every last bit off our plates. I was really tempted to leave something 😊. Thank Carew Inn, thank you staff, and thank you chef!

Second time I have eaten here and all our meals were delicious Fresh home made chips eggs and excellent ham off the bone. Service and staff are so attentive here thanks for a great experience

We came to Carew Inn as it got recommended by a host where we were staying. I’m so so glad we did visit, the food and staff are so so welcoming. Thank you for the lovely meal, chats and service.

Absolutely fantastic meal, massive portions, good Guinness and Thatchers Haze. We were stopping caravan over the road and it’s a great location to stop and support the Ironman

Lovely place to eat, excellent service

Lovely pub food and welcoming atmosphere served by great staff. A cosy country pub, a perfect place to have a meal out or a drink or pub quiz. Lots of different rooms to eat in with a nice beer garden too. It over looks Carew castle which is stunning at sunset.

The two young men in the bar today 23/07/24 were great and the ladies who cooked our food were very talented. I would go again tomorrow!

Good pub food, really generous portion of homemade chips.. Not cheap but then nothing is these days. Everyone's plates looked good.

We stayed for 2 days, We was welcomed and shown to our ground floor room, Accommodation great, Breakfast great and a bonus a friendly cosy bar with good Guinness, The staff were excellent and efficient.

Traditional pub and inn with an open fire and a quirky layout. Perfect spot for a rest and drink after a long walk around Carew. Sunday lunch was great and very well portioned and service and staff were lovely.

Nice friendly place to eat, not cheap but nice home cooked food. Would visit again.

Our family of eight and our dog arrived for Sunday lunch on 5th November. The food was delicious and the portions very generous with loads of veggies. The service was first class too
