Top Joe's Tenby in Pembrokeshire

Great Pizza, very good quality, authentic. Only negative is that the pizzas are overpriced, they're fairly thin, which is absolutely fine, but at £17 for a Pepperoni pizza, I felt it was overpriced. We also had a Fughi, also very nice. Friendly staff and a good service (takeaway). Would recommend. I will say though, Tenby in general is grossly expensive.

First time visiting Tenby and it has to be one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. We ordered pizza and calzone and both were delicious. Service was fast and staff were welcoming and friendly. Really nice atmosphere and vibe inside. Would definitely recommend

Let's start with the one positive: the pizza. Some may say it's burnt, too thin, and so on, but those people likely don't understand Italian pizza. If you were to visit Italy, this is quite close to what you'd receive ... an authentic, wood-fired pizza. If that's not your preference, I suggest you head to Domino's down the road for an American style pizza, as it seems you value quantity over quality. Now, onto the negatives. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. While I understand we visited during a peak time due to the Ironman 2024 event, the restaurant should have anticipated this and been better prepared. The service was extremely poor. We waited over 15 minutes just to place our order. It then took another 10 minutes for drinks, despite them being simple canned and bottles drinks and an additional 10 minutes for our food to arrive. The staff appeared disorganized and lacked direction. On top of that, the restaurant was very noisy, which made the experience even less enjoyable. It would be nice if they focused more on serving their customers efficiently. What frustrated me the most was that I had called over two weeks prior to request a reservation but was told they were not accepting any due to the Ironman event. Yet today, I noticed a reserved table in the restaurant. I would recommend this place, but only if you can overlook the noise and poor service.

It is closed, but on the open times on the door by itself, it says it's open. Very sad, such a small detail on the door, and they can not change it. As well, there are no opening times at the Website.

We loved it here , the cocktails were marvellous and our waitress was warm and kind…

We visited on a Saturday night. Staff were initially friendly and it seemed like the kind of place which would be quick (we had our young daughter with us). We ended up waiting over an hour during which time we had to switch from eating in to getting a takeaway. Other customers who were seated after us were served before us and ‘a large delivery’ meant we had to wait a long time. A member of staff did apologise but if they had let us know when we ordered that there was going to be a wait we could have made the decision then to get a take away and not had to keep our daughter waiting. A shame as seemed like a nice place generally.

Four of us visited tonight. I had a vegan pizza which I really enjoyed and my partner enjoyed his. My partners daughter had a gluten free pizza which unfortunately was a bit underwhelming for her, not much cheese and slightly burnt on the edges. Nice little restaurant, very loud and hard to hear each other but that's was the other customers, not the staffs fault. Very busy, but our food arrived very quickly considering.

Very good pizzas and efficient service. 17.5 pounds a bit expensive for funghi pizza.

Tried phoning for four days at various times, to book a table, eventually got through and was told only tables for 8 plus can be booked!!....so if your a couple nope, if your a family of four nope, if your six, nope....8 plus only....not very far bottom Joe, spent my money elsewhere.

Brilliant experience, pizza was genuinely the best in Wales and even though the place was jampacked it arrived quickly.

You can't book but we were able to get a table and the excellent pizzas came very quickly. A lovely evening, thanks!

Really really very good pizza. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. The garlic mayo dip was homemade. Bread and olives were just gorgeous. Service was slow on occasion but because the place filled up as soon as it opened, which I think is a testament to how good the food is. Would absolutely come back, would go out of my way to come to Tenby to come back. Fantastic pizza!

Delicious pizza on a perfect base. We had takeaway as it was very busy (a summer Saturday), but could see the place had a great atmosphere.

Pizza was fine albeit plain and a bit pricy. The inferno pizza wasn’t spicy and the kids pizza was just plain tomato puree. We took our pizza to go because it was busy.

Got takeaway margarita pizza, absolutely amazing! Perfect Italian pizza, lovely thin base with the right amount of sauce and cheese! Perfect crust too! If you're holidaying in Tenby definitely give them a go!

Pizza was really tasty here,had the pepperoni was quite spicy but it was so nice that I just let it burn,got really busy after we arrived without booking then people arrived after us and got served before us,took nearly 2hrs to wait for food and eat it,it was the bike ride from Cardiff to tenby so was packed everywhere will definitely go bk again really nice.

Incredible and let me ad finally a real Italian pizza. The texture, the fresh flavour, the colour was fantastic. It brought me like back at home. A real explosion of flavour just like in Italy. My first time in Temby but if you pass by go there to eat a real Italian pizza.And the staff was worm welcome you and friendly.I would recommend it to anyone. Dale F.

Great food. Very nice bases on pizzas and different toppings available. Website said to book, phoned to book to be told not taking bookings. Fortunately when we arrived it was quiet so got seated straight away, however many people who arrived after us had booked.

Picked up 2 pizzas to take away, ready in 10 mins, pizzas were lovely, staff were friendly, why anyone would use that place that rhymes with Decompose around the corner when you've got this available baffles me.

Delicious authentic vegan pizza! £14 plus £1 for vegan cheese. Swapped the mushrooms for friarelli, 100% recommend! Friendly quick service and food, accompanied with free chilli oil which was spot on. Drinks also reasonably priced 😋

Great authentic Italian pizza place with a good selection of wine. I had tried their Vegan Vegetale pizza which originally comes with their buffalo cheese, however you can replace it with vegan cheese for an extra £1.

The pizza here is amazing! We knew we wanted pizza and after a quick Google search food Top Joe's and glad we did! Service wasn't the best but the food more than made up for it!

We had the prosciutto pizza and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, and nice and fast. Servers were lovely and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend :)

The reviews looked good here so when we visited a few weeks ago we thought we would try. First thing to note was the service was shocking - the waitress quickly asked our drinks order and if we were ready to order food, we asked for a few more minutes to then spend over 20 minutes trying to catch the attention of one of the waitresses.. it was as if we were invisible, extremely frustrating watching other tables being served when they arrived after you. It was clear a few tables who were seated before us had been waiting around for their orders to be taken too. Finally got our food, mediocre pizza - the base was not crisp and so the topping slid off when picked up. No one checked if food was okay and we were not able to get more drinks ordered during the meal. Even had to chase to get the bill, definitely would not recommend and don't intend to visit again after when the cost of the food does not reflect the experience!

Had take away two nights in a row from here. Both times top notch. You will be hard pressed to find a better pizza in the whole of the UK let alone south wales!

So much hype but a 60 second pizza was not the best. Soggy in the middle and cold in 60 seconds, the gluten free base was not even hot. I would advise the owner to try a gluten free base from frozen to understand they need longer to cook.

Fast food is the order of the day. Full, loud, hectic. But I have never had a fresh pizza of this quality faster anywhere. Even with Mc Burger it often takes longer. Delicious.

Absolutely amazing! The best pizza I have had in my life. Highly recommend! There were 13 of us and even though they were full they told us to come back in 20 minutes, when we did there were a couple of tables waiting for us. They also explained dietary requirements and had very friendly staff.

Sorry but going from the other reviews on here thought this would be a good shout. Turns out the pizza is awful crust was burnt and could net even taste if there was infact any Cheese on it and was wafer thin, the garlic bread was also burnt really disappointed considering we paid £61 for the meal. Wish we had gone to dominos instead and that's saying somthing when you can't better a chain company. But they do allow dogs which is a small plus.

Very poor service in fact ignored while the waiting staff let in her friends and showed them to a table in front of us. Even though we were first waiting at the front of the queue. You obviously have to have friends in the right place to get in or even be acknowledged. So rude, but on the positive side we went to a fantastic place nearby called Umi instead and it was amazing.

Highly recommended. Good quality and quick service.

What can l say....lush pizza's.

The pizzas are fantastic. Highly recommended. That said, our recent visit was a bit of a disaster with just about everything wrong including people who came in after us, eating and leaving before we'd even got a sniff of our food, which was then wrong. Hey ho. Hopefully just a one off.

From the moment i walked in i knew it was going to be brilliant. The smell of pizza blew me away. Wonderful pizza and garlic bread and such a short wait with perfectly cooked pizza. Really friendly staff and great service. The pizza made me feel like i was in italy and a nice touch of music to add the cherry on top. Would reccomend to any italian food lovers with lots of tasty sounding options. Perfect pizzeria!

Super tasty pizza and cheesy garlic bread.

The wife and I ordered gluten free Pizza here at Top Joe's after our honeymoon last year. The staff were super friendly, and service was fast, but the one thing that stood out, it was that the pizza was insanely good, almost like we could not believe it. We will be back mid-July and cannot wait!

Lovely pizza, tasted great and worth a visit with lovely service. Sadly this was not authentic Naples pizza it was 50% close but the mozzarella made from cows milk is a spin off , Do not be fooled by it. Its more like a soft cheese and buffalo mozzarella is certainly not like that . I'm being being picky but when something says authentic I want authentic !

Lovely local pizza restaurant. It's about the sauce in my opinion and I think they nailed it. Very nice atmosphere and the decore definitely had a New York pizzaria feel to it. And the price was very reasonable too.

Was okay. Walk in only when we went. Wasn't as good as Florentinos and was about the same price (a little less). There weren't many meat heavy options, and so was kinda just a greasy mildly tomatoey pizza base. Really just doughy.

Pizzas were great, the glass of red I had went well with my prosciutto pizza, staff friendly. Only minor downsides were that the artichoke extra I asked for on my pizza were tiny slithers I could barely taste (I was hoping for the usual sized chunks you get when they put em on pizza) and £2 for dips that don't go far between 2 people. Other than that, good a pizza place as any if you're in town.

Come here every year when on holiday and always love it. Very popular so you can't book ahead. We arrived at half 8 and it was full but a waitress said if we wait 5 to 10 mins we'd get a table and we did. It then became quieter as it went toward their 10pm closing time. Pizzas all spot on. Bit pricey for drinks. Staff really friendly.

Great pizza! We had take away to the beach and it was excellent! We had Margarita and one with zucchini and pesto

Fantastic pizza Why "yes" 1. The pizza with pesto and ricotta is awesome 2. The margarita pizza is tasteful 3. Quick service Bottom line- to find a good pizza in the UK is quite a challenge, this one is highly recommended
