Nice pub on the St clears road not far from aldis good beer ,and great staff,offers days and pool tables plus a place to watch all sports

This place is truly incredible. Went for mother’s day and the staff were so accommodating to us from start to finish. Have to give a special shoutout to the man behind the bar and serving that Sunday between 5-7pm, he truly was great and made the experience great for my mam! Really wish we got his name! The roast was beautiful, and overall such good value for money. We will definitely be back <3

Stay here at a moments notice (walked in ) with my dog and they was very accommodating and friendly,helps us out without a problem.room was clean tidy with all you need for overnight stay,the bathroom very clean ect and they will help you with anything you ask about or for, nice little bar and eating area. I would stop here again anytime. Thank you for helping me and the dog out.

Called today for large cod and chips x two takeaway. Cost £23.80. The chips looked like oven chips and were tasteless and dry. The large fish was in fact two small fillets joined together side by side and battered. On first glance it looked like a large fish but the flesh was only quarter of an inch deep so there were no lovely flakes of cod which you expect when you pay for a large portion, what little cod flesh there was was dry and crumbly.

We had the Sunday lunch. The chicken was ready for immediate consumption but the veg took 20 minutes to cook 🤷‍♀️ We also had beef which was reformed. The veg were in foil trays and had to be reheated. Totally tasteless. Later we thought we would try the fish and chips. (We were staying locally.) The chips were soggy, as if they had been left over and re fried in not hot enough old oil. The fish was grey and chewy. Horrible.

Nice enough restaurant but sadly so many items were missing off the menu, items I would have chosen. I had sirloin steak, perfectly cooked and a stick toffee pudding. Staff exceptional a credit to the company.

An old Naval club that has not seen new decor since Nelson.. Ale in poor condition..

Stayed while visiting family Going again on the weekend

I will never suggest anyone to go here. We waited 2.30 hours for food. Services is pathetic not only this but food was tasteless. After waiting 2:30hours for food we spent only 5 minutes to eat and left all food after tasting. And wasted good 50£.

Popped in for a take away, heard food was great. And it was, full of flavour and chicken pieces in the curry were cooked perfectly and plenty of it. Would highly recommend, and certainly would come here to dine in the restaurant, looked a lovely set up. Will eat from here again soon!
