The best restaurants in Carmarthenshire West Wales

ordered a breakfast for take out. Bacon was tough and dry.Black pudding overdone, crunchy and hard. Dont like chips on a breakfast, such a waste, maybe offer fried potatoes or something else. Asked for half and half for the beans and tomatoes and recieved 1 plum tomatoe on its own. Thats not half! Fair to say its expensive for what it is and I wont be purchasing here again. Such a let down.

I really like the food here. It's very tasty, and the portions are a generous size, and excellent value. I usually have a vegan version of vegetable noodles - there's a good variety of different types of vegetables which are always very fresh and cooked perfectly (never over cooked). The staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Had an amazing lunch for a special celebration and the staff were so welcoming. Delicious pizzas and very dog friendly. Visited the upstairs gallery adjacent to the restaurant which sold unique and well crafted items. Both venues well worth a visit.

My local, Gemma makes us feel at home and her food is lovely with decent portions and great value.

Absolutely beautiful food, really lovely serving staff too. The chorizo and applewood cheese ciabatta is particularly impressive

Went here for Sunday lunch. Friendly little place. Food was very good. The waiting staff were on the ball. Food came out very quick and hot. The waiting staff were happy and friendly and did not rush you.

Avoid at all costs the scrambled eggs where undercooked and the bacon was fatty and also undercooked it was very expensive for a breakfast we couldn’t eat

Coffee was cold I think the owner get to better staff the lotus Chinese coffee has better and the seat when I see dog siting on them I not good and yet you have a 5 hygiene rating

We have recently moved into the area and were please to find this deli. Food was very good but the counter staff were rude, tapping sharply on the counter top whilst we chose what to buy. Unnecessary and, to be honest, unlikely that we'll go back again.

Welcoming, friendly pub with lovely atmosphere. Excellent food. Good choice of meals. Easy to book. Good beer. Good Parking.

Coffee was excellent, unfortunately the coffee and hazelnut cake was disappointing, no coffee flavouring at all, poor quality synthetic cream, and 4 hazel nuts. Interesting that nothing in this place is priced! May be it is but we’ll hidden.

Fabulous lunch homemade scotch eggs, great coffee. Amazing choice of cake. Great staff. Will be back soon

Booked a table for 9 people and when we arrived the owner had been left short staffed and had to run the bar and prepare the food on his own. We thought there was no way he could feed 9 hungry folk. I stand corrected .. he made us exactly what we had ordered and in good time. Excellent quality and service What a legend

Just got back from here with my family celebrating my birthday. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was great very quick and everything was perfect. Met Joe and his wife really really nice couple. Will definitely be back. Thanks.

Brilliant place, Jamie (the chef) even gives lessons in pizza making on a daily basis (by appointment) theres a friendly bar and a very handy local store all in one run by Jamie and Sarah... we fell in love with the atmosphere and locals on our visit xx
