We stopped at the antique centre next door and decided to pop in here for a cup of tea and a sandwich. My toasted brie and cranberry was delicious. Very clean, reasonably priced with a very pleasant serving lady.

What a find, nestled between a small garden centre and antiques shop this place has a lot to offer the tea rooms enthusiast, a beautiful tea rooms that takes us back in time to the good old days. The food is home made and full of flavour, the coffee and tea are piping hot served in a proper cup and saucer with teapot. We've been her a few times and it's always been first class, we've bumped into old friends and made new friends as well, this is a brilliant meeting place to share happy memories with family and all who cherish good chat and cuppa.

Stopped there for late breakfast on the way back. The staff lacked basic hospitality, and the menu didn't have simple poached/fried eggs/beans on toast, instead there was avocado on bread, and additional separate items to this dish such as salmon, eggs etc which was around £6.50. Sausage roll was quite small, toasted bread with ham and cheese was OK. But what put me off is throughout our stay the staff were loudly clanking the plates, washing and throwing their cutlery around etc despite that we were the only customers there! They also discussed loudly what might be their future fancy menu. Based on my visit I would not be coming back there again, perhaps the worst breakfast experience ever.

We had lunch today. It was verging on inedible.Badly cooked quiche which was served cold with a very poor salad. Cold green beans , small amont of lettuce which had not been properly washed. ( small insect on lettuce) . It was very poor value for nearly £8. We will not be coming back.

Popped in here for tea one afternoon and it was heaving, no tables at all, a young man welcomed us and said he would get a table set up for us, which he carried in from outside and laid up for us very quickly, we ordered tea and homemade cheesecake which was very enjoyable, a waitress came and asked if we would like the teapot toping up with hot water - the atmosphere was lovely and we chatted to other people at other tables - all very enjoyable. This will become one of our regular haunts. To top it all when leaving I saw a lovely picture on the wall for sale of a cow - just what I had been looking for for ages and only £45!

Surprised to find change of ownership the previous gentleman having retired. Ordered tea and ploughman's for two.Pleasant platters were presented comprising 3 different cheeses ham which appeared to be roast, mixed leaves (ugh) mayonnaise supplied when requested, tomato, pickled onions, pickle, coleslaw a baguette each and plenty of butter the tea was fine and more water supplied without having to be asked for. The loo is quite a hike and a bit like a maze to get once there fascilities were acceptable and there are some interesting items in the antiques through whuch you have to pass. Service was pleasant and decor relaxing I suspect we will call again

No pude terminar!

Visited for lunch today, for the first time, having heard about this place from friends for a while. Pleasant vintage decor and unobtrusive 1920s music. Food (hot bacon and Brie with cranberry baguette) was served quickly, and was delicious with a little dressed salad. Looking forward to another visit here in the near future.

Very hard to find without Satnav and postcode but worth the effort. Tiny place in the Garden Centre in Station Road, Llandeilo. Adjoining the antique centre, with retro everything except the food. Our seafood platters were generous and fresh and prices reasonable. Find it!

Cute little café inside the garden centre on Station Rd, just off the A483 on the way out of Llandeilo (heading towards Rhosmaen).Lovely retro decor and furnishings inside with tables for around ten to fifteen people.Staff very warm and welcoming with an excellent atmosphere. The menu is limited as is the kitchen area (which is appropriate for this establishment) - there was plenty of choice for everyone's taste, even Gluten free for me.We ordered a bacon roll, cheese and Welsh ham toasty, pot of tea and a coffee. The smell of the bacon cooking was out of this world, the food was fantastic, drinks lovely and the service and attention excellent. Prices generally on a par for Llandeilo and food of a better quality. I did think that the Latte was overpriced for the size of the serving (maybe use bigger mugs?) but definitely not a deal breaker. I would recommend to others and will be calling here again when in the area.

On a recent visit to The Works antique and Garden Centre in the lovely old market town of Llandeilo, we smelled the lovely aroma of coffee and cooking wafting in the air. Just tucked away alongside the Garden Centre we found a really outstanding little cafe selling really good coffee. Actually it's a bit of a misnomer to refer to it solely as somewhere that just sells coffee. It is far more than that and we enjoyed a splendid brunch that included some very warming and delicious home made soup.Don't expect an a la carte menu - its not that type of establishment and does not try to be so. The fayre is honest, freshly made and prepared and served by Tony the proprietor who offered everyone present his warm and friendly attention. We are frequent visitors to the Antique Centre but this was our first and certainly not our last visit to The Vintage Coffee Shop. It's great value for money and has the bonus of free parking. It's about half a mile on the road heading outside Llandeilo and is well worth a visit. I gather the Coffe Shop is closed on a Monday as is the Antiques and Garden Centre.

We recently booked and visited this establishment for a Sunday roast / 93rd birthday party, (not me by the way!) as we were staying locally for the weekend. Well what can I say!!, as soon as I arrived, the outside looked like someone’s house in this tiny, yet beautiful village, however once over the threshold it became apparent how large and beautiful the inside of this pub was, even Doctor Who would’ve been impressed with this tardis! I and another family member were greeted by a warm and friendly faced landlady, and she was a lady! Asked where we were from and made us feel incredibly welcome, then she let herself down by undercharging us for our pints £4.50 each!! At home in Wiltshire I pay £6.50 for the very same pint. We were shown to our own large table (11 people), set on our own. This restaurant was impeccable. The food was perfect with some difficult family members dietary requirements, even the chef came to the table which turned out to be the landlord, what a nice guy he was too. This place was so good, I felt only obliged to buy the landlord and landlady a drink to say thank you for looking after us. After giving the 93-year-old the bumps to celebrate, we left happy and fulfilled. Thank you guys!
