The Blue Bell Inn in Carmarthenshire

We phoned through a large takeaway order for 17 people. The premises are a small pub with seating area for eating in with a very handy car park behind. It was all ready to collect at the requested and was extremely tasty. Good value for money too. Highly recommended.

We had the most delicious authentic Chinese meal ever, this is a small cosy atmosphere pub come restaurant in a small village, Joe and Fiona the proprietors are chef and waitress who make it a friendly homely atmosphere but best of all Joe is a superb authentic Chinese chef who cooks food that I think is one of the best in Wales 👏 Don’t miss this opportunity if you’re in the area 👌.

Absolutely stunning. Was met by a lovely lady who took our order. We had drinks outside while waiting. We had a take away and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit here, I will cetainly come back if Im am in the area again.

The Blue Bell Inn is unique (well, I think it might be). It's a tiny pub in a small Welsh village but it is also a Chinese take-away and restaurant. Not many tables but enough. There is also a carpark behind which is very useful. The star of the show is, of course, the food. A VERY comprehensive menu available for both take out and sit in. We had the hors d'oeuvre for two which was a meal in itself, before having a coupe of mains. Everything was very tasty and met with our expectations. Having stuffed ourselves as best we could, we were very happy to be offered takeaway boxes for our leftovers. LOL - tomorrow's dinner sorted as well! The place is tiny and unassuming yet punches way, way above it's "weight".

Our first visit to this Chinese Restaurant & Take-a-way proved to be a great success! We went for the 'Meal for Two' for £25.00. Excellent value and a good range of dishes including Prawn Crackers. Without doubt, these are the best tasting Chinese dishes we have had in a long time! Will definitely return!

Lovely meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. Since leaving Liverpool in 2005 I have always searched for Chinese restaurants that live up to the ones I was used to. Finally I have found one. Will definitely return.

I looked at reviews on tripadvisor and decided to drive the 7 miles out from my hotel in Carmarthen to try a take away from the Bluebell and what a great choice. A pub which is also an excellent Chinese restaurant, lovely hosts and the best chinese food i have had in a long time, even though i ordered it on my arrival at 1930 but didn't leave until 2040 so they had to keep it warm for over an hour!! Lovely friendly atmosphere in the "bar" and made to feel so very welcome by the local customers. Yes its a 20 minute drive but worth it, go on please give it a try. Thank you to the Bluebell, whatever you are doing, you are doing it right!

hi tried there food for the 1st time tonight myself and my wife were very impressed very tasty very polite and all freshly cooked and a little half a beer whilst you wait we will be back thankyou all at blue bell Chinese

The restaurant itself has a cosy vibe about it with great lighting and a friendly welcome. The service is friendly and service is fast. The food itself is very traditional with a large menu to match, the sauces are incredible and the spices are quality. I will definitely be visiting again.

We went on a quiet Tuesday night, the service and food was great. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Décor is a little dated but everything was clean and tidy and we had a good evening.

We decided to order a takeaway following recommendation and it was great. We found a menu on their Facebook page Service was excellent and very friendly the menu has lots of choices we will definitely use again

We regularly use the takeaway service and the food is fresh, well-cooked and delicious. The portion size is generous and the quality is consistently high. When possible we visit the restaurant, and enjoy the set meals - saves making decisions! However the chef is willing to do a swap as we have a friend who has a number of food intolerancies. A really friendly local that we are lucky to have close by.

Ojalá nos hubiéramos ido antes, después de vecino había dicho el Blue Bell era muy buena. Pedimos comida para llevar en el restaurante y la orden no tome tiempo. El personal y los propietarios son muy amables, impecablemente limpio en apariencia. La comida estaba recién hecha y de calidad excelente, precioso sabores cantoneses que son nuestros favoritos. El tamaño de las porciones eran muy buenas y el precio razonable. Regresaremos de nuevo tanto para llevar y para el servicio del restaurante. Los locales no son enormes como el Blue Bell no es un edificio enorme, que hemos utilizado en el pasado cuando era sirve comida británica tradicional, el dueño ahora arrendamiento de los locales. Aunque aún apretadito que estaba muy limpio con los clientes ya y procedentes en mientras esperábamos nuestra orden. Prestar habla por sí misma como para la comida y el servicio.

Have driven past this pub on so many occasions without stopping.Fancied a Chinese so decided to give it a try, what a very pleasant surprise.!!!The welcome was very friendly and warm.The food was all very freshly cooked and really tasty.This is in my opinion the best Chinese in or around Carmarthen.It deserves to be successful.Will be back for sure.

Ordered a King Prawn chow mein takeaway and was not too happy as normally chow meins are fried in oil . Everything in this dish tasted boiled with loads of bean shoots, the prawns were supposed to be king prawn but were all broken and not whole also big chunks of broccoli and sliced carrots which I've never had in a chow mein before. No I didn't enjoy this meal at all.
