Dined here as recommended by the B&B we were staying in. Although you may just drive by it is well worth stopping for a meal. As a family with teenage boys we were all extremely pleased with our reasonably priced meals, great sized portions and the quality of each of our meals was fantastic. We had considered starters but glad we didn't as could only manage our mains. Definately recommend a visit.

we arrived at The drovers feeling like we were walking into someone else's front room, but what a welcome. we were made to feel very welcome, by the landlord and the locals. we ate food both Friday and Saturday evening, personally we felt we ate better meals here at The Drovers than some of the Michelin star places we've been to! Great food! Great service, and great drinks. Saturday afternoon Rugby and live music in the evening. really recommended coming here for a meal! we shall definitely be back.

Great hosts Ben & Bethan this is a return vusit by myself and brothers. Watched rugby, played pool and had a good drink of a cracking pint. My brother would have preferred it if they had a stock of alcohol free beer of some sort, but fully understood the reasons they didn't have any. Should of asked Ben if He could of got some in prior to our visit. Great to meet their new Baby daughter. ( Whose name sadly escapes Me.)

We have become frequent visitors to the area and having discovered the Drovers we eat here as often as possible. Ben`s meals are superb and very reasonably priced. He produces an outstanding Sunday Lunch with an excellent variety of vegetables and his pies are the best we have tasted! Last season we attended a brilliant Italian night as well. Already looking forward to our next visit. This pub is a real gem, so glad we found it!

This is our local pub but the first time we’ve tried it. The food was really reasonably priced and delicious. All well cooked. My husband had the chicken and mushroom pie and said it was the most delicious he’s ever eaten (and that included mine!) We had to take dessert home as didn’t quite have room for it but that was also delicious. The take away menu also looks like good value. If your in the area I would definitely recommend the food here.

The food here was fine and the paid bar staff really friendly and accommodating but the publican/owner was not. There was only one draught ale available which was on 'the turn' and when he was advised that the beer wasn't at it's best he did not even attempt to offer an alternative drink and just said that nobody else had complained. - not what I call customer service and certainly won't be returning!

Although this is a small rural pub, the food is really good. Good sized menu and great quality food, mostly sourced locally. They also have some great special nights, which sadly we missed, but an all you can eat buffet, consisting of french cuisine favourites and your first drink for free for just £11.95 a head can't be missed. I would really recommend this place.

Pretty big menu for size of pub and all freshly cooked so very accommodating with orders when requested some items be swapped/omitted. Small ‘local’ feel but very welcoming and accommodating and reasonably priced for the high quality of food served.

Attended the music festival at the Drovers today. Regardless the bad weather the place was roofed. The music was varied and excellent. We've visited this pub on many occasions and have always had a great time. Ben the landlord and his staff are friendly and welcoming. The Sunday lunches are excellent.

Only pub for miles called in when visiting area.pub is not open on regular hours as I understand that this is owned and run by the community, food started serving at 18.00 hrs ,a good selection on the menu, steak and ale pie was piping hot served with a good portion of chips and peas, good selection of lagers and ales, dogs allowed in pub on quarry tiled area which is quite large, steady stream of locals supporting the local pub.

I love coming to this pub for the good food and it's a great place to come for a nice drink too. I've eaten here several times and have always enjoyed the home-cooked food and always pleased to have a nice choice as a vegetarian. We enjoyed a really good meal here recently; generous portions, cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced and the restaurant area was lovely to sit in.

Me and my family went to the drovers arms for a Sunday lunch. The food was gorgeous!!! There was a massive choice of meat and vegetables. It's hard to get my kids to eat most things but they ate the food in seconds. The chef is very kind and is an outstanding cook. I would recommend this to anyone not just for a lovely meal but also for a joyful night out

Regularly visit the Drovers Arms for meals and drinks. The food is AMAZING (highly recommend Bens Thai Green Curry) and is very reasonably priced! There is a great selection of beers and soft drinks and from what I can see the draught ales (usually 2) are very popular. The atmosphere at the Drovers Arms is what youd expect from a country pub - it is cosy and welcoming and you can always expect to find some of locals enjoying a drink. There is a also pool table, dart board, slot machine and a jukebox that you can use. If you can make it to Quiz Night or Theme Night you wont be dissappointed .. never have we been unsatisfied with these events! Thanks Ben for providing us with such a great county pub :)

Myself and my husband plus a guest were due to attend a concert by the Lampeter Chamber Orchestra in the Village Hall at Ffarmers; on viewing Ffarmers village web-site I read that The Drovers Arms is a "community owned" pub, so my husband and I visited a few days before attending the concert.

The Drovers offers absolutely excellent restaurant or pub food. It's located in the beautiful Twych valley in West Wales, with tranquil countryside all around. We have regularly had a first class roasted Sunday lunch there, or on other times made selections off the wide menu....

Choice of four starters. For main course a choice of three meats, one fish and one vegetarian. Numerous choices for dessert. All portions were plentiful with far too many vegetables with main course. Many dishes were homemade and the vegetables fresh. A good pub roast.

Standard pub trying to make a living while understaffed. Juke box, pool table, so far so normal....but the food was brilliant!!. I had the rump of Welsh lamb which was probably the best lamb I have ever had. They do take away to so we took the superlative rhubarb crumble home with us. Well worth the 3 mile walk over the hill!

If you like a nice beef steak then look no further! The chef buys his meat from a small Swansea butcher and it’s both great quality and well cooked at an amazingly low price! It’s a pub as well as a restaurant so whether you are looking to eat or just have a beer, it’s great! The only downside is that Doombar is the only ale they keep, you would expect a local welsh beer.
