The best restaurants in Llandeilo Carmarthenshire West Wales

We ordered the halloumi open sandwich. Really looking forward to it, but really disappointed when it arrived on a small plate with 3 pieces of halloumi on a piece of TOAST with a few salad leaves and cabbage. £11.50! Absolute rip off. We won’t be returning.

Grubby inside, food wasn't the best but still expensive for some reason. Disappointing and didn't like the place, definitely won't be returning.

Friendly service. Well-coordinated employees. Very hot and quite a lot of food per portion. The case itself is not beautiful but extremely practical. Reasonable prices for the food you get. I had chicken and lamb myself. Partner had all kinds of things. We were both satisfied with the preparation.

The food is outstanding, the service is great - the room is kinda big and echoey and feels a bit like a boarding school canteen, but honestly the quality of food makes up for it. Could do with some drapes or something to soften the acoustics.

Lovely cafe in a lovely location the staff are very welcoming quick turn around definitely coming again .

Brilliant seafood starters. Cosy atmosphere and great service. Varied menu encompassing Welsh specialities and tasty pub grub, nice cold beer and soft drinks. Definitely recommend the chips as they are very crispy. Mushy peas with a twist. We enjoyed our meal in the secluded den watched over by a giant grizzly bear. A must visit if you are in the area!

Don’t be put off by the rather clumsy name of this light and airy café in Llandeilo, nor by negative comments made by others on this site. Lovely coffee and cakes and friendly, helpful service yn y Gymraeg. Diolch yn fawr.

Great pub ,unbelievable service ,literally put a pint down and the bar staff were ready for the next !!our dogs Albert and Rodney have never been so well looked after, especially Rodney who's a young one the staff looked after him so well ,never been to a pub so friendly staff and locals welcomed us!special thanks to Wendy who drove us back to our digs and went way and beyond, we really appreciated it and finished off a fantastic visit to the white horse !cheers to all we meet made our visit very special X Matt, Sophie, Albert and Rondey xx

Partner had chips spicy curry sauce. Said it was the best curry he ever had. I had fish, chips gravy. Fish was fresh and good, gravy was really nice and chips were the same as most chippies. Lots of food

Was a fab pub/restaurant but sadly another covid victim. Not looking like any prospect of reopening in the near or distant future. :(

Great food and service there, big fan of the chow meins and the sweet and sour dishes. Also great prices unlike every other takeaway in town. Big thumbs up from me 👍
