The best restaurants in Llandeilo Carmarthenshire West Wales

What a great find! You’d never know this was a great Tapas restaurant from the outside, it just looks like a village pub. Its also a friendly pub so whether you want to eat or just enjoy a beer, its great.

Brilliant food every time I go there

Called for coffee and cake. The scones that were served looked awful, they appeared to have collapsed in the oven. I wouldn't have served them personally. The scones were very cold as if they had been defrosted so I asked for them to be warmed. They were returned very quickly but this made no difference., they were still chilled., tasteless and dry. Certainly not worth £5 odd. Its a shame, hope the Cawdor which has always been so reliable does not deteriorate.

First time in Cafe Braz lovely service and lovely helpful staff .Meal a little expensive but good quality. Would definitely return for the coffee and cake though.

Chased 4 times now for an invoice for our stay 20/01-21/01, which we require as a business and they have failed to provide. Contact number is a mobile that doesn't answer most of the time, no response by email or via booking.com. Did get through on the phone once, they said they would send but again failed to. Sadly we won't be staying again due to this, and they don't have their VAT number displayed on website either.

Brilliant seafood starters. Cosy atmosphere and great service. Varied menu encompassing Welsh specialities and tasty pub grub, nice cold beer and soft drinks. Definitely recommend the chips as they are very crispy. Mushy peas with a twist. We enjoyed our meal in the secluded den watched over by a giant grizzly bear. A must visit if you are in the area!

We ordered the halloumi open sandwich. Really looking forward to it, but really disappointed when it arrived on a small plate with 3 pieces of halloumi on a piece of TOAST with a few salad leaves and cabbage. £11.50! Absolute rip off. We won’t be returning.

Partner had chips spicy curry sauce. Said it was the best curry he ever had. I had fish, chips gravy. Fish was fresh and good, gravy was really nice and chips were the same as most chippies. Lots of food

Was a fab pub/restaurant but sadly another covid victim. Not looking like any prospect of reopening in the near or distant future. :(

The wait time is crazy I called to place an order I asked would the wait be long the man on the phone said half hour. Called up half hour later and he said they haven’t started my order and that I have to come in and they will start cooking it which made no sense why would I call up to place an order the whole point of doing that is to avoid sitting there, but they won’t start cooking until you show up. Cancelled the order what a ridiculous system. Going to the kunzan instead.
