Kunzan Tandoori in Carmarthenshire

Ordered a take away few weeks ago. We have had quite a few and was a very good customer. Mine had hardly any chicken in the dish. And my wife’s made her sick for 48 hours. I live very close and every time I went past. It was busy. I drove past one day and it’s quiet. Pop in. And the owner is preparing food with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. It was unreal. And I’m going in to have a conversation about the last take away I’ve had. Sorry Pabloo but I’m coming into speak about the quality of your food. And your doing your self no favours. I will never return.

Good food, obviously different chefs so a little inconsistent

I placed an order for collection at 8 pm, but when I arrived, I had to wait until 8:30 — a full half hour late. It honestly felt like my order was given to someone else. What shocked me the most was how dirty everything looked. The food prep area seemed filthy, the chefs’ clothes were visibly dirty, and overall, the place felt really unhygienic. I was genuinely concerned about how they prepare the food. The packaging was some of the worst I’ve seen, and on top of that, they only accept cash — no card payments, which is ridiculous these days. The waiting area was no better: the tables and chairs looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. I have no idea how they managed to get a 5-star food and hygiene rating — I honestly think the Local Council or Food Standards Agency needs to investigate this. I won’t be returning, and I definitely don’t recommend this place.

Pathetic food and quality is poor. You can tell about the usage of bad oil. The quality of the nuggets was horrifying and disgusting,some were hard and some were raw. I would never feed this to my own children.The smell was wretched. EAT THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK⚠️

Delicious and amazing value for money. Got the special combo for two people and it was enough to last two days!

Best Indian food ever Highly recommended

Ordered by phone on weekday was told 20mins. Arrived bang on time food not ready sat down the seating sticky and horrible. Should of walked away then. Chips were raw with nasty taste assume they were from frozen and oil was either not hot enough or needed changing (prob both) lamb tikka was chewy like rubber. Pharaoh's curse ensued next day. Disgusting avoid like the plague. Go chippy across the road instead.

Takeaway. Really good tasty food, perhaps a bit heavy on large pieces of onion.

Everything is superb!! Food is amazing but above all, everyone is so friendly :) We have had takeaways here for years and always there's a service with a smile. There are lots of vegetarian options but there's also no problem in turning the meat meals into vegetarian meals. I like extra spice and again there's no problems with adding extra heat to the meals. Portions are also large and price is really good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Diolch Pawb!

We were on holiday and found eating out was limited to a few sad looking unwelcoming pubs in Llandeilo. We decided to get takeaway and we weren't disappointed! Kunzan Tandoori was very clean with friendly welcoming staff and the food was absolutely wonderful. Generous portions with big king prawns in the korma, well made naan bread, excellent basmati rice...salads with chapati and dip...we enjoyed it so much that we went back the following evening and ordered again! We highly recommend Kunzan as an all round warm friendly place serving delicious quality cuisine. Thank you to Kunzan Tandoori!

In Llandeilo for a holiday and had an excellent meal from Kunzan, food came freshly prepared and was really tasty.

i was introduced to this place in 1999. I have used it literally dozens of times snd never been let down. best in the area by far!

Very disappointing quality. Seemed as if the curry had very little spices, a lot of sugar and not much else. Worst Indian food I have tasted.

Ordered by phone as advised on reviews , great advice , six people waiting at 6pm last night I think that suggested how good it would be. Wasn't disappointed beautifully cooked large portions reasonably priced, won't be going anywhere else.

Generally, a good curry and probably the best around. I have tried a few others and found this to be the best and most consistent. You can have a bit of a wait on Friday or Saturday nights.

The only Indian in Llandeilo, provides typical dishes and a few authentic (ish) dishes. Normally pretty good but it does depend on what you order and when. Cash only so pop over the road to the cash point after making your order.

What sort of business does not take card payments in this day and age ffs

Just love having a meal for 2 from here it's so large we have it for the rest of the week lol. We travel from llanwrda always to get our delicious Indian. Well done guys
