Great cafe right by the beach. Friendly staff and the food was really nice!

We were here for the Hot rods and chose The point cafe for its lovely views at the end of the beach. It was empty but we sat down and ordered 5 cooked breakfasts. Sadly the young lad that served us tea spilt most of the tea in the saucers and tray. Rather dubious bits were floating in the milk jug too. No issue but clearly asking for some napkins was a bit too much inconvenience. He then took the full saucer and walked back with it at a 45 degree angle and spilt it all over the floor. All rather amusing but on a serious note the breakfast was poor quality although did come quickly. The toast we were served was mouldy. We advised the cook quietly as there were other customers around and we understand mistakes are made. He totally ignored us, charged us and then started furiously throwing the rest of the loaves of bread in the bin which were all mouldy. No apology, just rude and dismissive. Hopefully the team was just having an off day but dirty cups and plates, rude staff and gone off food really wasn't what we had hoped for.

It's a cute little spot with a gorgeous sea view for lunch. The staff were super friendly, but the food was kinda average. My fish and chips were a bit overcooked, but my partner loved his English breakfast. Just a warning though, the seating inside might be a squeeze for bigger folks. They have those fixed booths with benches, and let's just say they're designed for the more svelte diner. Maybe grab a table outside if you're feeling a bit roomy!

A proper cafe. No frills or pretensions. Fills you up with good portions and reasonable prices for a seaside setting. Go get yourself something.

Stopped off here for a breakfast whilst out and about. I have been here before but several years ago....so it was lovely to visit again.

My type of place. Proper Cafe atmosphere, right next to a cracking view of Pendine. Food very reasonably priced and for good portions. Table service too, with the choice to sit in or take away. Definitely recommend and would go again.

Been here a few times on our stay, just a great little cafe. The guy running it is always so nice and the portion sizes are good, a great place to stop off and have something to fill your belly while staring at an amazing view.

My partner had a tea and I had a lemon meringue ice cream. The young man who served the ice cream handled the cone from the top - hygiene standards here are appalling!

Good selection of ice creams along with wonderful views of Pendine Sands. Shame about the grumpy, blond, plaited hair girl serving who was visibly bored, almost sighed when serving me and was quite abrupt in her manner.

6 of us went in for breakfast. The staff made comment about us to another customer. Were given menu were told table service waited for a while didn't like atmosphere so we walked out. Wouldn't recommend it!

The best double espresso for hundreds of miles..

Plenty of good places to eat in Pennadine. Don't rush here, coffee undrinkable, food bland and unappetising, no offers of sauces, condiments etc to make the experience anywhere near pleasant. Staff not bothered !

I would avoid this place if you can. Quality of food was very poor and didn't taste very nice! Majority of it went in the bin. Gutted we didn't notice that the nearby pub was doing takeaway or else we wouldn't have gone here.

Nice cup of coffee to be fair with a lovely view. Difficult to socially distance properly due to a narrow pathway but ideal at safer times.

The actuall cafe wasn't open at this time because of covid but we had take away and the spaghetti bolagnaise was lovely very tasty will definitely go again

I can certainly recommend the icecream selection! I was served by a wonderful lady, who was very chatty & was interested about where we had already visited. The cafe itself offers seating both inside & out, with stunning views of the glorious beach. The beach appears to go on for mile after mile.

Extremely friendly staff, honestly so lovely. Ice cream is fantastic. The location is a big bonus right before the walking path to the cliffs. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

We popped in for lunch after the beach. The staff was friendly, service was quick and food was hot and tasty. We did have one item missed and this price was taken off the bill. Would recommend this place

Double burger was flavourless and limp. Chicken burger was a deep fried disappointment. Food we had at Cafe round the corner much better.

I spent a lot of my time there as a young child due to owning a caravan. The staff always recognised us and our dogs. This is a very nice and traditional sea side café. I have many memories there. One of which is the memory of spending times with my past dog poppy who has now died
