The best restaurants in Torfaen South Wales

Found a hair in the batter of my hotwing, which ended up in my mouth.

Staff are rude , unhelpful , disinterested , incompetent . Tables are never cleared , rubbish everywhere , prices are extortionate , queues every hour of the day and no urgency from staff at all , in fact when it is at its busiest they seem to deem it necessary to stock the shelves or clean behind the coffee machine ??? , the worst costa I have ever had the displeasure of visiting , and it cannot be the hospital site as the costa in RGH is amazing with competent staff who are polite and tables are always clean.

Food was average but I found the cafe very dirty floors table and staff uniform dirty not hygienic for food consumption needs adeep clean

Although this place was a lot cleaner than our last visit, I always feel cheated leaving there as the portions are minuscule. Their tower burger is more of a bungalow burger and I doubt if one small potato had been used for the chips portion For £1.99, the coleslaw was a small tub of cheap low fat garbage and also at £1.99, you get one fillet the size of a chihuahua’s d**k Bloody disgrace

Food was ok, not the warmest The restaurant and toilet are not clean, especially the toilets yikes! The whole place has seen better days! Never seems to improve!

So in the news this week that they got a one star rating for local hygiene assessment How on earth did they managed to achieve one star? Chips in variably greasy overcooked stale tasting. Chairs and tables, not usually very clean. And teapot generally grubby. Constantly bombarded with music and announcements on a really high volume. Never enough staff to serve as well as take orders as well as as well as clean. Avoid unless desperate

The pasties and bakes looked like they’d been out gif a while. Queued for 16mins and asked if the beef and vegetable pasties were hot. They weren’t. So I asked about the steak bakes. Also all cold. The pepperoni pizzas? “Sorry” “the corned beef pasties are the warmest” they were coke when she tried them. Not one item of hot food available, it has gone downhill since they replicated the smaller greggs with this waste of space. And they’d have charged me extra if I wanted to eat my cold food in store. Absolutely rubbish.
