KFC Restaurant in Torfaen

Ordered food from the store via just eat and had food missing, called the store to let them know and was told by the girl working there that it was the delivery driver stealing food. She told me that I could report this back to Just Eat, but would not give me her name under “GDPR”. I asked if I could speak to a manager but they would not come to the phone, I asked for the managers name which again she would not give out due to not having permission due to “GDPR”. I then asked for the name of said driver who she claims was stealing food out of my bag and she gave me his name straight away, I immediately pointed out that she was in fact protecting herself and her colleagues for the poor service and happily throwing the just eat driver under the bus. There was no way the driver stole food as it was sealed but she proceeded to say that they must have opened it up and sealed it back up. I also was given a false email address for the store so I couldn’t even complain to them directly. Shocking behaviour and customer service from KFC Cwmbran, you have incompetent staff who can’t follow simple orders and are then falsely accusing delivery drivers of stealing peoples food. Shocking! Educate your staff on what GDPR and customer service is and how to do their job properly. Won’t be using this store ever again!

Great service friendly staff freshly cooked food and brought to table due to family member being disabled

Not happy, from someone who used to work here and service wasn't great then I really hoped it would be better now. Absolutely terrible waited by till not served for ten minutes as not enough staff on shift. Extremely poor.

Ordered a meal via Uber eats…I watched the driver travel to collect our order and head straight to our home. My food was so cold it was inedible!! They must’ve popped it in the fridge for safe keeping while waiting for the delivery driver to collect it. This is the second time our food has been cold, I was a fool to order a second time, I sure won’t be ordering a 3rd!!! £25 wasted!!!…and they forgot my dip

I did not enjoy the half burned fries which were dry and cold....the milk in the coffee tasted sour and it was hard to find the lettuce and mayonnaise in the zinger burger. The restaurant was dirty, no clean tables, the napkin dispenser was empty and the service wasn't that good either. I would not go there again. Don't know what standards of cuisine most people in Cwmbran enjoy but they sure don't expect that much and are quite happy to pay for sub standard food and eating conditions.

Awful service. Ordered 2 drinks, 1 coffee 1 soft drink, used machine and chose table service, 25 minutes later still waiting, I can see our order on the counter! Went up to get them, guy does apologise but does them again, they are literally on the counter, toilets are up ridiculously steep stairs, I've got a bad back, go to get key for disabled toilets, no staff at all! Honestly the worst experience

Cleanest store I have visited in South Wales and staff were super friendly will deffo be visiting again. Food was very tasty and my Order was packed very quickly.

It’s many years since we last had a KFC. My partner and I decided to try a boneless chicken box deal for lunch for a nice change. Unfortunately it was disappointing, the chicken fillets tasted as if the cooking oil hadn’t been changed in months, the chips were few, bland and undercooked with side orders poor. KFC need to have a complete review of their products and procedures because we won’t be eating there anytime soon.

Best KFC in south wales, and also one of the cleanest stores I have been in. The staff are super friendly and chatty and always get my food within 5 mins.

Visited with my daughters. Vegan option was not available - we were offered a salad (after I’d paid). Accepted as we thought the staff member said she’d add quorn. We misheard. Salad box with a few kernels of corn. No offer to refund as I’d paid much more for the vegan burger! No gravy or coleslaw available. Salad was drenched in dressing. Grim. Dirty tables too!

I visited just a few days ago and I loved it. Young man at the till Jared told me to fill out a Guest survey but I wasn't sure how to enter the order information so I hope they see my feedback here. Jared was very polite and respectful and told me there'd be a ten minute wait and I am happy he told me because some restraunts don't so I was happy with the fact I'd been let know so I'd know there be a wait. Overall I must admit the food was lovely with some fresh chips. Thank you KFC Cwmbran I definitely plan to return in the future.

After spending weeks trying to convince my partner to give KFC a try, she agreed. Over £8.00 for a "mighty bucket for one" meal. Where you are told you will be given 2 pieces of chicken, a boneless fillet, chips and a drink. The genius who picked the chicken gave me the 2 smallest chickens and bonless fillet they had & the amount of chips was shocking too. The chicken was dry and quite obviously didn't satisfy my hunger. My partner wanted the zinger burger meal. As you can see, she was simply given a small, dry chicken patty with the smallest amount of lettuce and a child's portion of chips. What an embarrassing sight. To think that whoever cooked this stuff & whoever picked and boxed the food were happy with this is beyond me. The reason we picked KFC over Pepe's was purely down to the fact Pepe's portion sizes aren't great. I've now found that neither are KFC's but at least Pepe's actually tastes good. Shan't be back in a hurry

Getting a craving for a KFC in the Cwmbran area is a difficult thing. You’ve got the choice of going to the one in Pontypool that’s previously had a good hygiene ratings of zero (no thanks) or going to the Cwmbran one and accepting the added incompetence that comes free with your food.

We called into this KFC, for a late snack before our return journey to Kent, The choice of menu was very good, it catered for both vegetarian and vegan and normal meat eaters. The restaurant was very clean and spacious, you have the choice to eat in or take out. Great kids menu at a good price. Only downfall our chips were cold! Not enough staff, they were very slow to serve. but still a tasty treat.

Ok, its a KFC so should know what to expect. Our food was passable but the place is not very clean and the service really bad.

My children only come here about 4 times a year as it gets to busy ,I dont eat food here,the chips always end up in the bin that they order .

Visited here on the weekend with the kids on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was ticking over but not ridiculously busy and they had plenty of staff to accommodate and we got served very quickly. However, the main floor was dirty, all the tables had food all over them and stains. I had to ask three times for someone to clean the tables so myself and the kids (2) could eat. I even offered to clean them myself after asking a second time and then had to remind the girl who had been told by the manager to clean of what she’d been sent to so as she just faffed about with trays while we were still waiting for somewhere to sit. I wasn’t the only one who thought it was disgusting either, heard lots of complaints from people who were queuing. Perhaps they should spent less time messing about listening to SOAD and more time taking care of the restaurant floor.

They were very generous with the food hygiene rating of 5 place isn’t that clean staff hygiene practices are gross (you’re supposed to wear gloves if you don’t wash you’re hands every 30 mins or so ) but not once did anyone including managers wash their hands manager was on his phone was the send one in the que and got served last after 10 people being behind me ( bare in mind some of them had ordered and were walking away with what I had ordered) finally get ordered and they had made the burger wrong ketchup instead of mayo wouldn’t be as big of a deal if I actually liked ketchup but it’s not even my job and I know how to make one what are they getting paid for ? .. get my redo burger and there’s no lettuce no mayo no cheese just bacon this is really taking the mick now but I can’t be bothered to wait again and I had to go to work so I eat my literally bacon and chicken burger.

Absolutely awful. Walked out before we got served. Staff messing around and watched cooks eating in the kitchen, tables were also uncleared.

visited today with family- do not know how they have a 5 for hygiene rating-we had to remove chicken bones etc. from our table to clean it and the chairs. under the table were squashed chips ,rice ,empty ketchup sachets and goodness knows what else and the whole floor was generally a disgrace.when my husband and grand daughter went to order the girl was shouting at them repeatedly asking what do you want but they couldnt say because the menu board had disappeared.when the food was ready instead of calling the order number that was on the receipt they just called out the food item so if more than 1 person had ordered it who was it for ? the food itself was quite good -fresh and tasty.the only saving grace of this kfc is that it doesnt stink of barbecue sauce like the Merthyr branch-only visited once as the cwmbran one will be.

Food was lovely and good value for money. Would have liked a burger meal with a boneless piece instead of on the bone but apart from that very happy. staff were friendly.

Nos húmeda para el restaurante a las 9. 50:00 después de ver un espectáculo en Cwmbran. El restaurante estaba sucia y un montón desordenado de basura en las mesas y comida de los clientes. Nos paramos en el mostrador cuatro tres personal trabajando sólo un hombre. Decir que no nos gustaría que el servicio sólo a cabo luego de que cerraran las puertas y nos sirve, para llevar. Un cubo de 6 piezas y 3 piezas. Cuando se abre el coche fue terrible el pollo era dura y seca, sin sabor las patatas fritas donde bajo preparado. Así que me tire 15 libras en la papelera es un desperdicio de dinero y no un lujo! El peor KFC que he tenido. No volveremos allí. Entonces mi cuñada fuimos Jueves estaba terrible de nuevo.

Clean and easily accessible.Food is well enjoyed by whole family but we are aware of calorific values so do not go too often!

Despite all the information being given about junk food people still eat and take their children to eat this junk. I pass this place regularly and see parents taking there children in here when there are so many places they could eat proper food.

I keep going back in the hope that someone will serve me fresh hot food. Well that and I like chicken. I always seem to arrive at the counter when the chicken has been sat hatching under those lights that are supposed to keep the food hot, but just seem to glow so you can see the food is dried up. And even when the chips are thrown from the frying pan, they seem to get cold within minutes. Having tasted KFC in America, I know that their food can be great fast food take out, but not one place I have tried in the UK, ( and there have been many!) can seem to match the quality or quantity( I swear they count the fries!)

Not been here for a good few months and it will be another good few months before another visit. First thing I noticed as I walked in was food all over the floor, in the main walk way and around the tables, health and safety!! The floor was very slippery and greasy, health and safety!! Service is still very slooooooow. Took at least 15 mind to serve the 2 customers in front of me. After I was served and eating my food the queue started building up, not people waiting to be served but people waiting for there food after they had paid. 1 person serving! The rest of the staff just disappeared behind the scenes somewhere. 3 customers walked out, got fed up of waiting I guess. The food was ok, but never realised they don't do vinegar! Buckets full of salt but no vinegar and plenty of ketchup, if, just if, u can open them. 5 packets and not 1 of them we could open. Not even the 1 staff member could open them! What's the deal with the disabled toilet? You have to go to the food counter and ask a member of staff, (if u can find 1 that doesn't ignore u) for the key to get in to it. So imagine a disabled person in front of all the other people stood around waiting for their food, asking for a key so they can use the toilet. How humiliating!!! Are you discriminating against disabled people? I don't know of 1 restaurant or cafe that does this. Get it sorted! Not going to hurry back.

Waited ages to to served, we came in at lunch time which was obviously gonna be busy but clearly they had nothing prepared to serve and only 1 person serving, the food was cold, and the place was very dirty, no clean tables, floor was slippery where they clearly used a dirty mop which also left a sicky smell...... As for the toilets! The stairway up had a terrible smell leading us into facilities i couldnt even use do to the lack of cleanliness!

Be aware that they are unable to cope with a rush between 4:30 and 7:30.I arrived at 5:30 and the queue was up to the main door.It took twenty plus minutes to get to the counter, put my order in and waited, after another 3 or 4 minutes told that the chicken would be another 8 minutes.By this time the queue was back to the door.Having questioned the Team Leader, no manager available at that time , I was informed that they were having problems as they were two staff down, as you can imagine I was amazed at the answer on a saturday night they were short of staff, when there are people crying out for jobs.Customer service doesn't seem to matter at KFC in Cwmbran.

Been many times and everytime they are ridiculously slow & my order is always wrong. It's my fault for continuing to go back. Always think it can't be so bad next time but always is.

In the 25 minute queue as I type. Once again I'm glad I'm not starving, as I'd have no hope of survival. Two staff serving, regularly stopping to chat to their mate at the end of the counter... If I ever get served I might give a review on the generally mediocre goods, chances are I might have expired by then. Hopefully they'll remember the gravy this time.

Extremely disappointed with the bad service I experienced today. Went in for my lunch in my break from work, spent 14 minutes queueing in a small line, ordered a Zinger Salad and Oreo milkshake, waited for my food, was then told (on the hottest day of the year so far) that the milkshake machine was broken!

Kfc in Cwmbran is very very slow.. Slow service and the queue is very long all the time.. Not a good place to go eat if in a hurry.. Food not to the best standard either..

Always slow uninterested staff, will get the order wrong 9 times out of 10. Only reason I go back is because the missus loves a KFC as a treat.

The queue up the entire length of the restaurant would normally have put me off but the kids were determined to have KFC and when they had their food pop corn chicken, fries, sweet corn, coleslaw and krushems drinks all fresh hot and tasty we all agreed it was worth the wait.

Faces like a wet weekend.. Waiting time isn't really fast food timing.. Always seem to be short staffed, Surely the person serving you is suppose to remain behind the counter and not dashing off into the kitchen area to prepare the order without a hairnet on!! Fries wasn't the best the potato was still quite hard inside. So the large fries the actually turned into a small portion because majority of them were binned... Only come to KFC because of the Zinger Tower, but from now on I will listen to my 8 year old daughter and grab a McDonalds instead...C'mon guys get it sorted

A member of the family thought they would try it again. They went in, waited in the queue and waited and waited. I went to the chip shop opposite as I did before, waited in the queue, got served, ate my curry and chips and fish cake. The member of the family in KFC came out from being served as I was finishing my food, once again! I cannot understand why they don't have more people serving at lunch time. 2 people is not enough!!Last time I went in there I had a receipt with a survey on it to complete online, so I did. The last question on the survey was, 'would you like to be contacted about your experience?' So I ticked yes. That was 2 months ago, NO ONE has contacted me! So I have come to the conclusion the management don't care! Also on this survey I had informed them that they had RUN OUT of chicken and would be at least another 10-12 minutes to cook some more. How can you run out? It's a KFC! It was blamed on to many customers. I don't think so, I blame management, or lack of it!

There was about 8-9 people in the queue and only 2 people serving, eventually got served after about 15 minutes, not acceptable in my opinion. They now do the secret recipe fries, but had run out of the secret recipe. If you have a new product make sure you have enough!! The fries where just warm and the chicken was greasy, first bite into chicken and I had grease running down my chin, not the best at all.

Extremely surprised when visiting cwmbran KFC last week as I have had very bad experiences in quite a few of these places but all the seating area was very clean, there was a queue but was served as quickly as possible which wasn't long at all. The assistant who served me (Denise) was extremely polite and very helpful, our food was delivered to us in a timely manner and was very hot. Cannot grumble at all. Thanks kfc cwmbran we will be visiting again

Had our KFC meal in-bargain Bucket & cappuccinos. Very dry chicken breasts & all round not the best! Friendly staff though.
