Staff obviously struggled with demand. Food that needed to be chilled. Left on floor in boxes. £2.50 for a breakfast bap. Contains 1 small sausage that's it . Never again. Should of gone to greggs. Nhs should get rid of Costa at the Grange. And replace with a better company.

Visited The Grange today, visiting a poorly grandparent and went to the Costa facility. It is bound to be busy since it is located in a hospital, however at 9am I did not expect the queue to be till the entrance to the wards, the service was extremely slow which to my realisation was because a poor young girl was managing on her own. Serving customers, making cold/hot drinks, foods and cakes all on her own while what i presume to be the “manager” was having a good old natter and chat to another lady on the shop floor, absolutely vile! I felt so sorry for that girl. And as seen from other reviews this store is clearly lacking good leadership and diversion to keep running. The grange and costa need to buckle their ideas up as the store shouldn’t be running like this! 😡

Considering this is a hospital this place is disgustingly dirty. Food on the tables & floor., Cups and plates left around. If you’re charging £4 for a cup of coffee, the least Costa can do is hire a cleaner to keep it on top of this. Surprised the NHS & The Grange allow them to operate with this much uncleanliness.

We bought 6 drinks and accidentally dropped a latte within seconds of purchasing it because we had difficulty carrying them. We told the staff that we had dropped the drink and she said it wasn’t her job to clean it up, it was just outside Costa but there was no one else around. When I went back to the counter to purchase another drink I could see the drink carriers, which had originally been missed due to the queue of customers. I feel like they could have offered us or even pointed out the drink carrier when they could see we were struggling to carry the drinks. We were also a drink short which I had to tell them about. The impression I had is that the staff wanted to do as little as possible, and would benefit from a supervisor being on shift because it wasn’t a great experience.

Rude staff, and close when they want regardless of there advertised opening hours, ie closing at 5.20pm when the sign said 8pm and no it was short staffing as there were 3 staff behind the counter

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It was evident that they were stretched quite thin, seemingly lacking adequate direction or support. Unfortunately, this led to some mix-ups with my drink orders and a noticeable lack of cleanliness at the drink-making station. It's clear that the demand was overwhelming the available staff. I genuinely believe that with perhaps three more team members behind the counter, the service could be seamless, allowing for a cleaner, more efficient environment for both staff and customers. Until then, you might end up with a very long wait for your drink orders.

The staff are pleasant, clean, nice little seating area. Food and drink is what it is, you know what you’re getting at Costa. It can get pretty busy in here being a hospital and they seem understaffed so a little patience helps when ordering.

One member of staff who works there is extremely rude and disrespectful towards any potential customers if it is too close or bang on the hour of closing time. I appreciate yes it in principle but the way they spoke to me, their body language and tone of voice was disgusting. Even other customers there, disagreed with how that 1 member of staff behaved towards me.

Such rubbish service was charged for 2 toasties , 2 cappuccinos and a lemon drizzle slice. At first only received the 2 toasties . When I complained and the server looked through her receipt she claimed I wasn’t charged for lemon drizzle even though it’s on the receipt. She later said she will send my lemon drizzle over which she did not. Service overall felt insulting as people who were served after us all received their order without hiccups and a smile unlike us. All we got from all 3 staff were cold stares. Very unfriendly. Would score much lower for service if possible. Really made me feel out of place.

Visited Sunday afternoon, took over 40 mins to get our order. Clearly Deliveroo and Just Eat orders get priority over in-restaurant customer. Very poor. Tatty Retail Park too.

Ordered online. Waited well over an hour. No updates on the system just stating the time expected, that was well past. Call made our ordered had been waiting but issues with delivery drivers. Would have been at least half hour longer so we opted to collect… lots of others in the same situation as us there no real apologies given. Manager then stated that our food was cold so would need to be remade which because of all the orders in the same situation would take a long time. Was not able to get a refund there advised to contact head office for our refund. Manager stated that we could possibly get some money off our next order but I will never order from there again after this experience.can’t rate the food as we never actually received it!

Con of a store , order online they get in wrong , then you are passed from justeat to mcdonalds , who pass you back to just eat , i cant order from this company they have got delivery order wrong TWICE in a row , costing me a fortune in wasted food and money as total refusal to accept responsibility

Visited here on a rare trip to cwmbran, we wanted a hot drink so chose here Firstly they Didnt take cash , i dont like this because im never sure what the charge for . The Coffee was like water with no taste at all, All in all overpriced and poor
