Chips undercooked, pale and oily. Ordered fish and chips for Good Friday and the fish was full of bones, one was dry and the other was soggy. Mushy peas were basically soup. Gross food saved by being smothered in curry sauce (can't go wrong with Curry sauce though can you?) Very fishapointing.

Not my favourite place to eat the last two occasions I haven't enjoyed the meal so will not be going again.

Best Indian in Newport. Been ordering from here for years. 5* Highly recommend.

Picked 4 meals from the 2 meals for £14 section on the menu, only to find out when we went to pay that 3 of the 4 meals under that section were not part of the deal! & had to pay extra £10. Why put them under the heading of 2 meals for £14 when they don't qualify. On speaking to the barmaid that served us, was told that they have had a lot of complaints about that, but there was nothing she could do! I think there is, take the non qualifying meals off! So misleading and needless to say, you have lost our future custom

Fantastic takeaway, best on the block in my opinion. Prices are competitive and it's much more flavourful, has more of an actual Bangladeshi twist than usual 'Indian' takeaways that are actually ran by Bengalis. Far less commercial taste than most takeaways. Highly recommend the mawgli biriyani and naga chicken curry. Good service as well. Takes contactless card payments as of 26/10/25.

Possibly the worst chinese ive ever had ...my mum can cook a better one n shes from bradford ..Chicken balls are tiny scraps of dry chicken with thin overcooked batter so hard it hurt our teeth ...burnt noodles the curry was strong n powdery ..honour gardens is the best I've had in newport ...dog wouldn't touch it n he eats his own poo ...best thing about this meal was sliding it into the recycling bin ....now I'm on line desperately looking for a colon cleaner....

This is the worst food I have had the chips were clearly reheated and as for just eat well don't bother first and last time disgusting
