La Pizzeria in Newport

Best pizza place in the city. Plenty of cheese and toppings too. Unlike say somewhere like domino's, where's it's basically a pizza base swimming in puree, and a sprinkle of cheese. 10/10

Arrived 20 mins early (I was starving so this was a blessing) the calzone was perfect and had a great, even selection of toppings and tastes great

Too much cheese on everything and not enough pizza sauce. Could only manage one slice as it was too heavy and just tasted of bland cheese.

Amazing pizza and amazing value. My son won't even bother with the mainstream pizza brands anymore as these are better and cheaper. Generous amount of toppings and always made to perfection. Staff are friendly and helpful and delivery is always quick. If you have leftovers they freeze and reheat perfectly too.

This place is a Family favourite! Been ordering for years since they opened and love the food. We have moved out of the area which when visiting we said we will return, ending a short stay with a takeaway and still delicious! Staff are great and always delivering at a fast pace! Outstanding! The mint sauce is actually a mint mayonnaise which we don’t like (personal preference rather than anything wrong with it) But the pizza was delicious, salad fresh, kebab meat cooked exactly as we asked and chips perfect too! If in the area would order again

Tonight I was very annoyed and disappointed with the food I received from here, I ordered a hawaiian burger and the picture onthewebsite shows it comes with cheese, bacon and a pineapple ring. What I recived was terrible and nothing like the picture, I couldn't believe my eyes as all I received was a plain burger with a couple of tiny pieces of pineapple and thats all, for the price I paid for that I'm very disappointed and won't be using this place again 😔

Ordered 2 chicken shish wraps, loads of chicken inside, they were hot and tasted great! Portion sizes are really good as well. Would definitely order again!

Ordered shish kebab with salad and chips. I didn't expect one box layered with chips, meat and salad (feel I missed out on pitta bread),but it was very tasty so fair play. Great tomato-Y chilli sauce too.

Food arrived very quickly and was piping hot which was lovely. Star only knocked off as it wasn’t to my taste really and I didn’t feel it was the best quality … nothing wrong with it but I’m lucky enough to have travelled the world and had some of the best food around so I’m hard to please I must admit! Nothing wrong but nothing special. Sorry to say that! That being said the price and service was very good.

I been to buy pizzas at La Pizzeria , i got one person on reception, i ordered 2 X large pizzas but they gave me medium pizzas and got money from me for extra large pizzas, and did not give any ketchup with pizzas , the guy told me every ketchup for 50 pence, he was talking rudly, never recommend La Pizzeria

The food was great, as always! However, the delivery driver walked out of the garden leaving the gate wide open. It was obvious that there were dogs in the property as they barked like mad when he arrived. Other drivers have always taken care to close it. It’s just a little thing but it makes a difference when you have to run out in the rain to close it behind him.
