The best restaurants in Beaumaris Isle of Anglesey North Wales

The hot chocolate is absolutely 10/10! Get it with cream and marshmallows and you won’t stop smiling! The staff are amazing and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. There are loos on site (it’s a cafe in a park). Just a lovely pit stop before wandering into Beaumaris. Please visit!

Last time the service wasn’t great but today it was. Two young girls behind counter were efficient and friendly. So different to last time! We had sausage baps for breakfast. £3 each and massive. Piping hot. Also ordered some pastries and sausage rolls, all great.

Returned several times for delicious coffee. Always friendly service. Enjoyed the excellent homemade scone and bara brith. Tucked away off Church Street in the Forum opposite The George & Dragon.

A great golf course. Love playing it and highly recommend it. It is well manicured and a challenge too. The clubhouse is well run and there is a good menu available. You get a friendly welcome and it is well worth a visit.

Good casual restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Reasonable choice of food and wine and good for vegetarians. The booking process could be improved however and perhaps ambience also (maybe having less harsh lighting would help).

Very good pub excellent service, good beer but unfortunately no cask beer.

This is our 10th visit...it never fails.

We came for our late evening meal with all the family reflecting the overall expenditure of the meal. It was money well spent the food was fantastic. Good portions were served on the meal including the starters were more than sufficient. Well cooked to perfection. The staff Very attentive, I would most certainly look forward to my next occasion to dining with relish

Yummy. So many choices of ice cream. If the queue looks long don’t worry as it moves fast. I had apple crumble ice cream. Staff behind the counter were polite and efficient

Having eaten here each time we have stayed in Beaumaris we decided to book an overnight stay at the end of our self catering holiday. An individual reviewer commented that the place is dated. Maybe, but Isn’t that also part of the character? We liked the cosier individuality rather than the ubiquitous group hotel rooms. We had the four poster room. Good colour coordination. Window seat overlooking the straits. It had bathrobes,mini drinks fridge, smeg kettle along with a cafetière and Illy ground coffee. Wonderful. To top it all - a half decanter of sherry. Never had that even in five star hotels!! Restaurant - It is getting harder to find a restaurant with crisp white tablecloths, but that is the norm here. The food is absolutely the very best on Anglesey that we have tasted. Certainly in Beaumaris because we have tried all of them! Darren serves up delicious quality food. We were chatting about our stay with you for quite a while on our journey home and cannot wait to return. Thanks to all of the team, especially Melanie, Darren and Amy for making our holiday finish on a high

Pre dinner drinks on balcony overlooking open golf course and countryside with the Menai Straits in the background are ultra relaxing. The Service is excellent and the choice and quality of food are to a high standard.

Go in. Trust me, it looks like a small shop, but they have seating, and it's surprisingly bigger than you think. The staff are friendly and the food is a surprise. We popped in for lunch and 2 (crusty not chewy) ham & cheese toasties with 'proper' ham, not that processed rubbish; a juicy and stacked bacon double cheeseburger, cooked to perfection; a bowl of fries and 3 drinks; all for £25 - and we were all full enough to easily last until tea-time. Considering it's a tourist spot I have eaten infinitely worse for considerably more money in others (I'm looking at you, Castleton). And while you're there browse around the masses of local/Welsh foodstuffs and drinks (some with very funny names).

Popped in for a drink as a table available over looking the water and hills. Very friendly place ( maybe because we had dogs) . Well priced beer. We we’re thinking of having our evening meal there, but the restaurant was too formal for our requirements and the bar area was small. Food however looked delicious

Horrendous experience, total waste of £20. Somehow it was colder inside the cafe than it was outside. Everyone sat with a coat on shivering. Service was good, coffee was good. Breakfast arrived disaster. Bacon totally overcooked toast toasted on one side only. Eggs overcooked. Baked beans looked like they’ve been parade around since last week.
