Called in here for lunch on our way home after holidaying on the coast. A cafe with a decent selection of well cooked & well presented food, very reasonable prices and friendly welcoming staff. The cafe is situated in the same building as the village's community shop in the centre of Llandegla about 500m from the A5103. An amazing resource for the village & a great place for travellers to drop inyo for a drink or food.

Excellent village pub with attractive decor and welcoming atmosphere. Always a nice welcome from the owners and staff. Comfortable seating and real fire. Always a choice of real ales on tap and good food served in generous portions. Highly recommend.

We called in for lunch after visiting a local caravan site which was closed for lunch! and we were not disappointed, the food was great value and good quality, it was a nice sunny day so we ate outside & enjoyed the view. Very friendly traditional pub.

There were two couples in-front of us waiting to be served and we waited about 20 minutes to be served. We ordered 3 x hot chocolates, 1 x scone & 1 tiffin cake. There was no knife with the scone & jam and they forgot the tiffin cake which I had to ask for. Seemed to be 5 x members of staff but I donāt know what they were all doing . The service wasnāt good and other people were having same issues

On a recent visit for a days cycling at Oneplanet Llandegla, we decided to call into the onsite cafe for lunch. Menu looked interesting instead of boring sandwiches and salads Anyway, I decided to go for the Moroccan Flatbreadā¦.something different. This is where it went wrong. The kitchen and preparation area is open for everyone to see. The person who was preparing the flatbreads was using a dirty stained tea towel to hold them whilst adding the filling. No plastic/rubber gloves were used, and said person was rubbing their had all over their clothes whilst prepping food. This put me right off ordering food from this cafe. Can the cafe owners take note and quickly improve their food hygiene.
