Called in here for lunch on our way home after holidaying on the coast. A cafe with a decent selection of well cooked & well presented food, very reasonable prices and friendly welcoming staff. The cafe is situated in the same building as the village's community shop in the centre of Llandegla about 500m from the A5103. An amazing resource for the village & a great place for travellers to drop inyo for a drink or food.

Wow! I usually avoid Sunday roasts in pubs as I'm often disappointed but the topside of beef here was amazing as was all the trimmings. Every part was so tasty and the beef was beautifully cooked. They also had fab vegan options for my friend including Welsh Glamorgan sausages which she loved. The staff are so friendly too. I also had the Welsh Amber pudding for dessert which had local orange marmalade pieces in it. A great place for a feed after a good walk.

We called in for lunch after visiting a local caravan site which was closed for lunch! and we were not disappointed, the food was great value and good quality, it was a nice sunny day so we ate outside & enjoyed the view. Very friendly traditional pub.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Awful atmosphere, a cold dining room that was more like a school food hall. No music playing and a general lack of ambience. Food was very poor and the price did not reflect this. Roast dinner was average and pasta was greasy. On the whole, cold, uninviting and would not recommend to a friend

On a recent visit for a days cycling at Oneplanet Llandegla, we decided to call into the onsite cafe for lunch. Menu looked interesting instead of boring sandwiches and salads Anyway, I decided to go for the Moroccan Flatbread….something different. This is where it went wrong. The kitchen and preparation area is open for everyone to see. The person who was preparing the flatbreads was using a dirty stained tea towel to hold them whilst adding the filling. No plastic/rubber gloves were used, and said person was rubbing their had all over their clothes whilst prepping food. This put me right off ordering food from this cafe. Can the cafe owners take note and quickly improve their food hygiene.
