There were two couples in-front of us waiting to be served and we waited about 20 minutes to be served. We ordered 3 x hot chocolates, 1 x scone & 1 tiffin cake. There was no knife with the scone & jam and they forgot the tiffin cake which I had to ask for. Seemed to be 5 x members of staff but I don’t know what they were all doing . The service wasn’t good and other people were having same issues

I remember coming to this cafe many times some years ago, and being delighted with the atmosphere, quality of food and general value. The impression this time was very different. The gentleman serving was pleasant and polite and the food was quite good, but the overall impression was very dingy. Although it wasn't very busy, there were dirty trays on most of the tables, the paintwork is drab and dingy and it's generally quite grubby. The menu is limited and annoyingly, there seems to be no wi-fi- quite a problem with the location of the venue in a valley with minimal phone signal. It seemed very understaffed. Most annoyingly, customers were inside with their dogs (not service dogs) and one was barking and jumping uncontrollably. No action was taken to ask the clients to keep their dog under control - there are lots of outside tables and I have no objection to well behaved dogs. It felt like we were eating in a kennel.

Went in after a walk around Loggerheads, wasn’t very busy (only 2 group in front of us). Took 25 minutes to get served, no communication from staff about how our food will come to us. Took 35 minutes for one ciabatta to come out. Definitely more of a place for just cake and coffee as you don’t want to be waiting around over half an hour for a simple sandwich.

What has happened to the once lovely Caffi Florence? This used to be a clean, good quality cafe with home cooked food, well kept and welcoming. Today, it was grubby, untidy and chaotic. There is an old blackboard type menu above the counter, but it only has two items on it. There were no other menus apparent until we spotted one in a pool of coffee on a table top. Other customers struggled to find the few menus knocking about the place, some of which were on the floor stuck under chairs and table legs. When our food arrived it was fine but I just couldn’t get over the decline in standards.

We like to visit the cafe 3-4 ,times a week for a coffee and sometimes food after walking our dog. Not normally one to complain but i do get very very frustrated when they change closing times to suit themselves! This is not in the public interest as (being quite) is their excuse to close early. Not the first time i have encountered this problem either. Stick to your advertised opening hours please.

One to avaoid I am afraid. In fairness, the service we had was very pleasant, but we only had a couple of drinks. Another chap came in, expecting food I would imagine, but the menu was reduced and they obviously didn't have on whatever he asked for. I did hear him say that it would have been nice if there was a notice up, to save people queuing up. I was quite shocked with the response from the young lady behingd the counter, she seemed to mock him because she said there was a great big sign on the door. To be honest, I didn't see it when I entered either, maybe someone was stood in front of it. He turned to leave, but then turned back because another comment was made by the assistant. (I don't know if that was bad, I didn't actually hear that) The chap didn't seem to be rude and walked off again. The thing that really made me feel uncomfortable was the way that she then started to shout that her business partner was off with a throat infection or something. Even if that chap had been rude (I really don't think he had) there was no need to be shouting that all over the place, he was leaving!

Well we’re to start! Firstly there was only a limited menu that wasn’t displayed until you had looked at the main menu. So you then had to think fast on your feet what you wanted as the queue was building up. The customer in front of me just smiled and said good luck. Hot chocolate ordered with no cream? Ordered 3meals and 3 drinks only received 2drinks. Then the drinks were left on the counter for over ten minutes as I was told they would be brought over! Secondly drinks were not hot and the young girl on the till found my whole experience funny. She turned to the kitchen laughing and when I pointed this out the manager just shrugged his shoulders. Service was absolutely terrible never go there again

Workers felt very unenthusiastic and the pinnys they wore looked filthy. I would like to say preparing hot food orders, but as it took 30 minutes to take my order and the people in front me only ordering hot drinks and cakes I have no idea what they were doing. The comical bit was when the lady came to serve hot food to a table near us she stated I think this is the vegetarian option and handed the food to the customer. No apology for the delay. People walked away so they must miss so much trade. Such a shame

Me and my grandma decided to visit loggerheads as she hadn’t been in a while and we we hoping to enjoy a drink and sandwich outside in the sun. When we arrived the queue was out the door and it seemed the cafe was severely understaffed. We waited in the queue for around 20 minutes before being served. The cakes and sugar cubes were being surrounded by wasps from outside. We ordered a tea, iced coffee and 2 sandwiches (avoided the wasp cakes) which came to a huge £21.10. The tea was way too strong (pouring out black) and only a tiny amount of milk was given. We were told the coffee would be brought to us along with the sandwiches. We sat outside in the sun and when our sandwiches arrived we were rudely told we couldn’t sit on the table we were sitting on as it was too far on the grass area (about 30m) and all other seats outside were either taken or overrun by wasps. We then decided to sit inside. There was no coffee brought to the table so we then had to ask for them to make it again. It was served in a plastic ice cream sundae dish with about 70% of it being ice. My grandma asked a kind worker (seemed to be from Liverpool) if she could have a new tea and she was absolutely lovely and happily fetched a new one. She was probably the only pleasant worker we spoke to. The sandwiches were on really thick bread with a dark and thick stem salad. There was no cutlery provided which we had to ask for again. We felt rude having to push in the queue just to keep asking for things we hadn’t been given. We were both in agreement that we wouldn’t be rushing back there again. The cafe has so much potential but just seems to be doing everything wrong.

Really shocked at the terrible experience I had today at at Caffi Florence. It is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. No one expects to enter a cafe with a child and be shouted at! That is unfortunately what happened today and my friend’s daughter was really upset. I went to try and buy ice creams at the window of the cafe and was asked to go inside so that I could be served there. I went inside and the manager proceeded to shout at us, saying the cafe was closed. Meanwhile other people were being served right in front of us! She wouldn’t accept my explanation as to why we had come inside and was incredibly rude. I then left only to see several other people being served ice creams at the window! Absolutely no need to speak to customers in this way.

I walk through loggerheads 2/3 times a week, I rarely visit the cafe due to the shocking coffee they serve, yesterday I gave it another chance, paying £10.05 for 2 coffees and a flapjack, the coffee was none existent in our drinks, it was a cup of warm milky water…..terrible - obviously trying to save on coffee, it’s a rip off !! I also reluctantly purchased a flapjack for my granddaughter, £3.65, it was like a fat ball, disgusting taste, after leaving the cafe, we popped into the gift shop, they sold flapjack too, £1.50 if only we had gone in there first. Hopefully someone from the cafe will read this; and try the flapjack and coffee and make some improvements, I’d love to make this a regular coffee stop…

They have a number of highchairs available and a basket of things to help keep children occupied, as well as a children's menu, and dogs are made very welcome. There was no one behind us at all and we said we were disappointed but we’re just ignored! We were left with a very confused and upset little girl as people were still being served ice cream with lots of people sat on the tables eating ice cream! He wasn’t interested and continued to serve several ice creams to the people in front of us. The time was 16:02! Very disappointing and bad attitude from the guy serving! I am not sure what to make of this cafe, it took a long time to be served in a queue of 5 people, 20 minutes or so, a long time waiting. Prices seemed quite high for food , we just had drinks. I was told drinks had to be in paper cups as we were sat on the grass, so I said we'd move to the concrete, unfortunately as I got outside there were no tables available as people were sat waiting for the partners to be served, a little while later the guy that served us came out and cleared a table and just shook his head at us, I did find this quite rude. When we'd finished we put the tray with cups on a table on the concrete area. I understand the rules but what were we meant to do, ask them to then pour out drinks in to take away cups as there were no tables available?

Part of my family live near Chester, we live in Suffolk. It was my grandsons 18th birthday and we were joining them in Wales to celebrate. My grandson had other things going on later in the day so we decided that we would meet for breakfast. I called Caffi Florence to book a table for 7 of us at 0900 on the day. I was told that they didn't take bookings and they didn't open until 1000 however after I explained about it being my grandsons 18th the lady on the end of the phone arranged for staff to come in earlier so that we could have breakfast at 0900. There was plenty of space and the young man who served us was very helpful, he put two tables together. We had an excellent breakfast. It was well cooked ,tasty and very filling , it set us up for the walk we had around the park afterwards. The service was very good and the staff very attentive. Went for mid week breakfast and was served by a lovely young man (wore glasses, didn't catch his name). Water glass was dirty with bits in it. The female member of staff didn't offer an apology but simply threw the water out and refilled the same glass. When I asked her for a fresh glass she rolled her eyes and handed the glass her male colleague as if my request was too much for her. This girl shouldn't be anywhere near customers, she obviously thinks service is beneath her.

I am writing this as part of a group who cycle out this way fairly regularly and stop at a wide range of hospitality outlets. Really disappointed in Caffi Florence! We paid twice the amount for a simple sausage butty that other cafés charge plus an extra 28p for a small pot of your choice of sauce. Coffee prices are steep but what really annoys is that even though dog bowls full of water are provided for canine visitors, and we had already spent excessive money on food and drink the staff would not refill water bottles even though the thermometer was hitting 26 degrees. We could buy bottled water if we wanted. But surely tap water is not too much of a request having already bought food and drink! Several other complaints but we will not be returning and hope that word spreads!!

A lovely little cafe servicing the country park. Plenty of places inside and outside to sit, but it can get very busy. My wife and I visited today and we both had a slice of cake, I had a smallish late and my wife had a can of coke and the bill was close to £14. Not expensive but not necessarily value for money considering the sizes of.rhe slice of cake (my wife had a slice of sponge that looked amazing whole, but as it was not sliced straight, essentially half of the cake was left behind. The coffee was great (albeit a bit small) and the service was genuine and happy. Whilst the cafe has been updated internally inside and looks great, the toilets were minging (I'm splitting hairs here), and the woman's toilets were pit of order. This might be an odd thing to add but as it is in a country park with no other real amenities available, some may find this off putting.

Took my wife and two friends for a full traditional breakfast. Service was swift and polite, food was very nice. Unfortunately, we were charged 30p extra for a portion of brown sauce, coming to £1.20 for all four (not available on the table like most places). I found this a little bit 'money grabbing' when I'd just paid £41 for four breakfasts. Coffee is always lovely, and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. Bread is all gluten free, so it falls apart and it's all expensive. Coffee and sausage butty for one £9.70. brown gluten free bread is not very nice at all. Both brown and white fall apart. Very difficult to eat and end up with food all over your fingers. Fish finger butty is 90% batter, very little fish. Looks fancy, but plain bread and normal fish fingers would be nicer. Tartare sauce is lovely though. Do enjoy visiting this place because of the local walks, but less fancy and pricey would be better. Nice little Cafe in Loggerheads Country Park! Beautiful walks through the park, sells Doggy Icecream as well as Human! Across the main road is a pub selling larger meals if required! Called "We Three Loggerheads" (The pub will explain)

A relatively nice place with some nice food in a great location. The downside is that it is overpriced and the service can be a little slow.

Really nice cafe, freshly baked bread & cakes. You pay a little extra but it's well worth it.

I visited Caffi Florence on Saturday 30th April at 3.00pm. Very disappointed that they were not serving tea or coffee at all. What sort of café does not serve tea or coffee at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon? Decided to get a small snack and a cold drink and took a seat at one of the outdoor tables. The table was filthy, it was covered in some sticky substances which was transferring to shirt sleeves. Lovely location, fully equipped kitchen but no hot beverages and dirty tables mean I won't call here again.

Staff couldn’t care less, are miserable & rude, I’ve just witnessed them rolling their eyes & tutting at a disabled lady because she didn’t collect her food from the hatch. With the prices they charge, you’d expect silver service! There’s a spar just down the...

A really picturesque setting with lovely food. Sadly let down by the slow service, 10 mins to order. It was actually quicker getting the food than it was to order it.

Accommodation very good for a short break in llangollen. Small but exceptionally clean room. Just totally refurbished. Exceptional value for money. Parking very close at local church. Dont use the parking machine or Ap. Call the parking company direct to Taylor your parking needs, they are very helpful

Started Popping into the branch more often recently. Staff are always pleasant and enjoy a bit of banter and conversation with each other Very Popular branch with Locals and passers by. Tidy and well kept. No issues with the layout etc.

Use to go here regularly. Massive price hike over the last 2 years. Was stood waiting for a drink for about 5 minutes when staff where sat down talking to each other. This was the day time. Lovely little pub just service on that day wasn't up to par
