This is a regular, irregular, visiting maybe twice a year since it first opened. Ruth and the team are fabulous. The variety of Rarebits, even gluten free, is amazing and enough to keep you coming back from more and more. Great coffee, lovely cake and a huge log burner in winter. What more could you want?

Under new owner's October 2024...what a lovely atmosphere on a damp autumn evening, fire blazing,Rhys and Claire made it so welcoming... proper traditional pub, dart board, pool table and a chess board set up for customers to chill with a drink with and off road parking behind the pub. Really cosy pub with a warm atmosphere....would recommend and will be returning 👏👏👏👏❤️

Great food served by nice people! Good price. We had fresh made chips, chicken burgers and chicken curry. All good!

I have been here a number of times now. Part of the church/café is dog friendly. The staff are always friendly and polite. Nice coffee but sometimes not hot enough. The salmon bagel is delicious.

Eleven of us went to the Tanners Arms for New Years Day . The service was excellent and food really good quality and great value. Very dog friendly- our two dogs were spoilt rotten !

Called in for lunch after a nice walk in the mountains. A lovely warm welcome from Becca & staff as usual. Service was prompt . I had the chicken curry washed down by a pint of the very tasty Butty Bach, my mother had the beer battered haddock. Both meals were delicious & generous portions. There was just enough room for dessert & we opted for the Strawberry parfait with meringue sticks. Yum!! A very pleasant experience all round & we shall look forward to visiting again.

I ordered a panini, having enjoyed one on a previous occasion. When it arrived, it was a wrap which had been toasted. It was very hard and impossible to eat. Had I been told that a "panini" wasn't actually a panini, I would have ordered something else. Disappointed as I have been here many times and always enjoyed my meal.

For a fish and chip shop, you would think they would know how to cook fish. My takeaway contained uncooked batter on haddock. In addition, the chips were a soggy mess having not be drained properly. A brioche bun chip butty??? Curry sauce was good, but guessing that was bought in. Maybe a bad night, but def not going back.
