The best restaurants in Ceredigion Mid Wales

Hugely disappointing. Cod was swimming in oil... Seems like the oil was in desperate need of a change but hadn't been done. At just shy of £15 for cod and chips, I'd prefer better quality. Portion size was reasonable however, at this price, it's hugely disappointing that ketchup and mayo is sold separately....and drinks aren't included either. Staff were friendly enough and service was excellent but the food and pricing structure was just way off. Really can't recommend this place.

We did the meal deal through the hotel. Deal is good value as you effectively get 2 courses & a drink for £16. Food was basic but good, service was good and staff friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in the caravan site next door and called over for a meal. We had a warm welcome and all the staff we met, including the chef were extremely friendly and very pleasant company. Meals looked really appetising and tasted fantastic. The place is clean and welcoming. We first went there a year ago and had an excellent meal, we called back and were definitely not disappointed! Great place for a meal or drinks.

I have stopped using this chip shop now...good selection of food, friendly staff and a huge portion of chips...unfortunately the oil it is fried in always tastes old !

Appalling delivery was over an hour and a half late food was cold had to keep my little sister up till past 12am she is only 9 and was very tired and very hungry absolutely Appalling and will never be ordering from them again just finished the edible bits of the meal (meal deal 6 and extra garlic mushrooms) the food was vile and we both could only eat our burgers I'm not happy at all

Durante dos sábados consecutivos pasó 15 minutos en coche a través de antes de que le dijeran "no Mcfurries" Anoche decidió entrar, pero he aquí no Mcflurries, pero tampoco parecía haber personal, solo un gerente desesperado vagando con un personal mínimo para dirigir, pero de ninguna manera iba a lanzar. ¡Este lugar es pésimo! ¡Podría ser el peor McDonald's del Reino Unido!

Pizzas no tan buenas como antes, , y precio deja de ser una ocurrencia regular aun con vales, el abba ha cambiado de manos, y no para mejor, lo siento pero cierto

Went here for lunch hungry, ordered on the little screens and decided to pay with cash. Sat down and realised our order wasnt on the screen but just thought we got the wrong number. Sat there for 25 mins waiting then tried to order again. Waited there for another 5-10 mins then went to ask and apparently we had to pay at the desk before they prepared it when we thought we payed when we got the food. No insturctions at all, hope they will chamge it. Food was nice but employes annoyed and non sympathetic

Lamentablemente no todos los artículos pedidos estaban disponibles - el personal, sin embargo, ofreció alternativas sin costo adicional. Recambios de bebida caliente gratis. Dibujos para colorear y lápices (que fueron afilados! ) disponibles para su uso. La comida llegó caliente y en su mayoría bien cocinada - la grasa en la freidora de grasa definitivamente necesitaba cambiar, ya que era claramente viejo y bien utilizado. En general una comida sabrosa y volvería la próxima vez en la zona.

The restaurant was terribly dirty. Cob webs were all over and toilets were in a terrible condition. The sharer we ordered came with two items of food missing. There was one waitress that was very friendly and tried to help find the missing food. The bar staff are abrasive and did not appear at all interested in serving. The tables are filthy and there doesn't seem to be any hygiene standards.

On holiday and struggled finding somewhere open for lunch. Service was fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Food was OK, I think as it was an off peak time the oil wasn't hot enough as it didn't make any noise when cooking, food was soggy and oily. Had fish and chips, price was reasonable, good portion.

Maybe I saw this place at its worst, early on a Thursday evening when I was the only customer. It might be better at 10pm when you are with a bunch of friends and have been to several other hostelries first. The bar is large, with a vast barn behind to accomodate a large number of drinkers who never seem to be present. The barmaid was pleasant enough and served me with a pint of non-descript cold but drinkable beer. I did not eat here or see any signs of what food might be on offer. I remember this pub when it was the Prince Albert, a favourite with rugby players and usually fairly busy...but that was half a century ago. this sparse review is all I can say now.
