On holiday and struggled finding somewhere open for lunch. Service was fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Food was OK, I think as it was an off peak time the oil wasn't hot enough as it didn't make any noise when cooking, food was soggy and oily. Had fish and chips, price was reasonable, good portion.

Picked the parmos fried chicken type fillet breadcrumb with cheese bechamel sauce topped with doner meat, jalapeños and pepperoni. Sounds great doesn't it. It was awful! I had to double check as I thought I had ordered from a cobblers, it was like a Doc Martin boot, tough as nails but not as tasty. I should have avoided when I had to squeeze past a heavy smoker standing in the doorway. The worst takeaway food I've subjected my poor digestive system to.

After a day of travelling from Yorkshire I was rather looking forward to a calm sit down pint with a bit of cheap pub grub. However, I seemed to get more than I bargained with when ordering a Stella as it came with a side of human faeces in the middle of the entry way. Food was nice though 👍

I'm a new addition to the Cardigan community and wanted to find a local watering hole to settle into and enjoy a couple of quiet pints on my own, and the Grosvenor looked to be a nice place next to the river with some fairly good beers on tap. I've been there a handful of times and each time has generally been a negative experience. It seems that if you are a bloke on your own you are singled out for poor treatment by staff and regular punters. Expect unwelcoming and rude staff, insults from locals, and being harassed from a table by locals who feel more entitled to the space you are taking up. Just horrendous all round, and I won't be going back. Surely there's a pub in Cardigan where you're not treated like a pariah.

Great food, fast service. We took the dogs with us in there. They have a doggy station which has treats, water and doggy bags. Highly recommend the fish and chips. Better than any fish and chip in aberystwyth
