Chip Shop in Ceredigion

Stopped by as we was in the area and thought might get something too eat, £3.95 for a large chips that I thought was not bad for a seaside chippy, i recived the large chips wow they was not large, I understand seafront markup but nearly £4 pound for a small, I will say though they was okay nothing special. I was going to get a pukka pie but £5.95 for a pukka pie wow the mark up there is ridiculous. Definitely won't be returning at these prices we do come down throughout the year and I'm sure during peak season they seem to be putting there prices through the roof too rip people off. The chipshop was not busy at all and now I can understand why.

20 pound for 1 large soggy bottomed fish, small chips that were warm at best, 2 cartons of the smallest curry and peas I've ever seen and a small sausage (which tasted good after a few pints) wouldn't recommend unless you ask for fresh food!

Lovely friendly atmosphere, outside plenty of seating, music and friendly staff, especially the guys that run the fish bar and Ruth and Jack in the pizzeria/bar. Portion sizes are more than plentiful, food cooked to order so nice and fresh. Dog friendly in outdoor (covered) seating area. Definitely worth a visit

Portions are small for the price aside from chips, yes the donner meat was nice but sadly thats the only positive i have, ordered curry sauce but never recieved it, they seem to forget orders, really should of read these reviews before i ordered like my hubby suggested and i implore you all to do the same!

Not very nice Food,Very Expensive and got to Pay by Card,Donner Meat portion was Small Don't do Salad with it and Don't get any Sauce with it,Chips wasn't very nice.

Food delivery is very slow and they forget food very regularly by the looks of it, they used a paging system and told our family that if it didn't work they would give them a shout. We noticed 2 pizzas standing on the side for 15 minutes, they ended up as our friends pizza's. Our food arrived in bits and bobs, our pager went off 3 times with about 25 minutes between the first and last time. We arrived when it was quiet so heaven help when it's busy. Food is good but expensive for what it is. Seems very disorganised even though they do try.

Awful service, first they totally ignore you for ages.... Then when finally you give an order, just walk away and leave you standing for at least 10 minutes, I only wanted 1 portion of chips.... So expensive... Think £4.95 for a fish cake! Chips were okay... Staff just don't acknowledge you are they just keep going in and out the back. Think they need customer service training

Very expensive and poor quality food. No prices actually shown within the shop. My partner ended up with an upset stomach and spent the evening vomiting up the fish. Will not be returning any time soon.

Freshly cooked and good quality although a little expensive

Service awful waited over 1hour for food ,whilst ask to wait after paying and then they served everyone before us who came in for food

Have used this chippy last year and was disgusted at the amount of black chips in the bag. Tried again this year and was exactly the same. For the price you pay it's disgusting to have to throw half the bag away due to them using bad potatoes Would not recommend to anyone and will not use again. Have to say as well that the price of the kids chicken nuggets is disgraceful, 5 chicken nuggets for £5.95 and that's with no chips 😕

Chips had been flashed and reheated not worth losing all your custom by doing this.They were hard and like cardboard. We have used this chippy for many years never have we been served rubbish like this.wont be buying from here again.

Expensive for a chippy and server didn't seem to know how to serve your food open 🤦 but it was cooked fine and the sunset was cool.

The food was okay no problem with that did not check the transaction of payment until later and was shocked to find two fish and chips one small curry sauce £30.80 extortionate

Plenty of seating both inside and outside, it's also very clean. The battered sausage, curry sauce, gravy and fishcake were fine however, the chips were overpriced, scrappy and hard to eat which was dissapointing considering the price we paid for a simple dinner. Regrettably this has put us off ever going back there.

Great if you want undercooked chips and tasteless overcooked fish only got 1 star cos I can't give a minus rating never again

Had tea here tonight ,chips were great and social distance measures in place would recommend
