I went to the hot counter and it all seems like all the meat is cooked at the same time. No matter what it is, whether it's in nuggets or a roast chicken and I loved it well. It said, chicken, an extra tasty chicken. The extra taste you might as well be extra dry. To be honest I think when they say extra tasty chicken. I think that's a con. I think you getting chicken chicken or chicken. And they just trying to advertise tasty chicken, maybe to charge more or something. Second thing is 1 day I go in there. It was £5 for a whole chicken the next day. Literally the next day, it was £6.50 .It's just when you walk in to morrison. It just looks dirty. No one cares. And the coffee don't ever buy the coffee inside. Morrisons, it's almost like you get dirty water. It's quite clearly the lowest kind of coffee they buy. They obviously don't want you to drink coffee. In this morrisons ,( go to the garage for the coffee) Forget the breakfast. I went for breakfast 3 days before. Wow. I don't know who's working behind there, but quite clearly. No one's in charge. They just slap it on a plate and hope for the best. For me it's like It's too busy for them in the café. This is why there's no standards and like I said. Hope for the best. One last thing the entrance to the car park of Morrisons looks like big craters. There's literally holes all over Morrison's car park, and you could easily wreck your car.

Awful service food and environment, food wrong, food cold, over microwaved, I've never seen a pie cold outside and burnt inside like carbon, mushy pees were like that foam you put flowers in, chips saved the day and the gravy had a skin so think you could use it to skin graft an elephant 🐘

Recently visited whilst travelling in the area, food was ok at best, the store is the dirtiest and most dingy have ever been in, wouldn’t recommend if you in the area

Fish and chips were on offer today so we had two. Order taken by helpful friendly young man . Found a table and our meal arrived reasonably quickly. Fish was good chips were not overcooked mushy peas fine . Helpful gentleman brought the food asked if we wanted sauces which we did but they had no vinegar. However he went to get some from the shop which he deserves the credit for but these days they never seem to have the sachets of vinegar so the bottle gets passed around lol. Only gave three stars because of the chips . No excuse for not being able to cook good chips . Staff were all good and pleasant.

On my lunch break as I've done many a times waited 45 minutes not served had to go ask whats happening just told it will not be long 10 minutes later had to go up ask for a refund as had to get back to work no empathy no apologies I started work at 8am don't finish till 5.15pm so have to go the whole say with out food far from happy . Please someone take charge and responsibility

Absolutely terrible service. I called in here on my way home from a holiday in North Wales with a friend. It was intended to be a quick stop for food as we were hungry and going to the petrol station afterwards. Big mistake. We waited half an hour and got no food. Asked about it and we were told they were doing it now. Ten minutes later, still no food. We had run out of time as needed to move on and get home so asked for a refund. They gave us this but they did not appreciate they had added 40 mins to our journey time and the attitude of the staff was disgusting. If they had told us there was a delay in the first place we need not have wasted our time.

We placed our order and asked to be served outside due to pet dog with us . There were two managers sitting eating food without saying anything to myself or husband the gent went and got a bowl of water for the dog and refilled our empty bottle while waiting for our food we had a conversation with the female manger . Once food arrived it was beautifully presented and very nicely cook . The girl that delivered our food was very polite and friendly . We will definitely be eating here again . 5 stars. Thank you

i went to morrisons as it was a stop from where we were going for the day and had travelled a far. we were all hungry the que was quite as was the restaurant this was lunchtime . i got a brunch , fish finger butty and kids meal little did i know you need a drink with kids meal theres no sign saying kids meal come with a drink. just a tiny sign saying kids eat free over the summer holidays . went to the till the server didnt tell me to get a drink for the kids meal . i then brought the food but thought hmmm £19.20 is abit expensive for two meals a coffee and coke when kids meal is free . checked my receipt and saw i was over charged for the kids meal so i went back to the server on the till and said i had been over charged are kids meals meant to be free durring the holidays she said yes but you didnt get a drink , i said you never told me to get a drink for the meal. i thought it was free when you spend money on an other meal. theres no poster saying what comes with kids meals and you never told me. she went ok what would you like me to do about it? i said i want a refund . she said oh ok i cant do that but i can get my manger to give it you . but can you wait over there when i serve these people i did and waited say 5 mins for the manger to get to me she said how much do you need back i tried to give the recipt to show her she blanked me . (rude) i then said the kids meal she then said right put your card in. i did no apology from the staff or manger. went back to the table food was delivered then , oh thrown should i say . she threw the childs meal infront of my boy who is 3 years old not thinking or it could be hot and burn him. asked if we wanted sauces we said yes ketup please. again threw it at us. no enjoy your meal and thankyou rude rude rude no smiles no politeness no custumer servise what so ever never ever going back

Food was terrible, tables piled with dirty plates etc, floor was dirty, staff couldn't careless, this was 9am,

we were doing a bit shopping in morrisons Aberystwyth . went to the frozen food section to get some chips . .and meat . the meat was defrosting as were the chips and i mean soft . disgusting ....I told the manager lady ....she just said the fridges ate defrosting....and walked away ...doing nothing ....so food poisoning ....she did not care in the slightest belief me ....and this is not the first time.....the shop has major hygiene issues... beware

I have visited this cafe many times in the past with friends and family whilst in town for a quick easy lunch. sadly this time the standards had fallen. The food was good and thec service was friendly and efficient. Sadly there is a problem with cleanliness , My wife picked up a tea mug of the clean pile which was dirty inside with someone's drink remnants and when I collected the cutlery several forks and knives still had dried on food on them . lets hope this is something that can be easily rectified , it would not put me off going again but it sort of spoilt the visit this time. otherwise all was fine.

Boiled eggs and soldiers = 2 very hard boiled eggs and burnt soldiers, all day breakfast =cold, fish and chips = fish nice but chips cold. Not very busy at time of visit but still took over 30mins till we received food, first and last visit.

Stopped for lunch . It was ok but thrown on the plate and sausages where not the usual ones that are so good . Service was faster than the half hour they warned of and staff were friendly. Recently Morrisons have tried to improve presentation but this did not happen on this visit. No napkins and lots of litter in the outdoor seated area. We travel this road regularly and use Newtown Aberystwyth and occasionally Haverfordwest. The best by a long way is Newtown. I don't know why there is such a difference. At Newtown the service is good with welcoming staff and nicely presented. We have found this to be the case consistently over the years. Generally Morrisons need to improve cleanliness in their stores especially toilets.

Went to Morrison's cafe/restaurant yesterday with hubby and daughter, we ordered 2 full breakfasts with well done bacon and eggs no tomatoes and beans on toast with sausages. When it came it was just what we ordered, couldn't be better really enjoyed it. The lady and man working the cafe were very pleasant and helpful thank you. Sadly the state that the customers leave their tables is a disgrace, weren't they ever told to clean up after themselves, alright the staff are there to do a job but it does make you wonder what the state of their homes are like. Thank you again Morrisons staff hopefully will be popping in again over the next week.

Called here for brunch, quite quiet. Only 2 members staff working on front counter ( apparently the other member of staff on her break) was told 1/2 hr wait for food, which was fine. Staff to be more vigilant on how clean cutlery and cups ( not clean at all) The full English breakfast was very nice and enjoyed by the family.

I went to Morrisons cafe today in Aberystwyth, I asked for curry and chips, but they brought me curry and rice. I told the lady serving that I had asked for chips and curry, so she said to me ME "that's no problem I will get you some now," she never came back with a chips, so extremely unhappy with the service. I now no longer shop in Morrisons or use the cafe, I go to Tesco's where the service excellent. Morrisons needs to be be improved, or they will lose more customers.

Absolutely terrible in every way possible. The service (or lack of) The waiting time from ordering to the food finally arriving. The food itself. My burger had a 2mm thick hard outer coating. It looked & tasted like it had been cooked a week earlier prior to being warmed up. Do yourself a favour & go to the M&S cafe instead. It's on your left as you head into town. Roughly 1/2 a mile from Morrisons.

Having frequented several Morrisons Cafés in Wales and England, regrettably this was not one of the best experiences. The bacon was of poor quality and the self serve coffee cups cups were of the disposable paper variety. Whilst accepting it saves washing up etc and...

Went for food at around 1pm yesterday. Had two of the largest breakfast and burger. The two breakfasts were inedible, food had clearly been held for potentially hours, black pudding was so over cooked that you had to chip away at it and many elements...

For a cafe advertising teas around it's walls and signage - they do not have decaf tea available - very disappointing.The breakfasts were fine but not very hot.The staff, mainly young girls, were pleasant but lacked any guidance when it came to table clearing or serving.

A perfect location in a major supermarket, that should do really well, but you can't call it a place to eat.

I used to go to Morrisons for lunch very often, but after a while stopped going.

Slow service, dirty table and cutlery. The beef curry as you can see from the photograph was not very impressive to say the least and looked like dog food slopped onto a plate. Cheap but not very cheerful sadly.

My partner and i called here on tues 10th July at lunch time the cafe didn't look very full so we thought we would try it for a first time we have only just moved to the area in the last 2 weeks ,on queuing up we found some of the drinks machines were out of order so we opted for the sugar free cola which was awful tasted flat there was no regular cola ,the till service was rather slow the young girl on it seemed to have to tap on no end of buttons for peoples orders it was ridiculous ,then a girl came from out of the kitchen to say that they were running out of things ,we heard the lady in the queue in front of us being told there was a half hour wait for food and lots of people came in behind us ,i ordered the hunters chicken plus onion rings and my partner the welsh curry should have been with naan bread ,there were trolleys piled high with previous customers trays of plates cutlery and cups etc and the area where the clean cutlery was had very little cutlery in it ,a young lad came out of the kitchen because some customers needed a table they wanted to sit at cleaning ,he told them they were short staffed and that he was trying to do everything ,from cooking ,washing up ,serving ,clearing tables ,one lady from the said table went to ask at the till how long their food would be the waitress told them about half an hour ,they weren't sure they wanted to wait so long but the waitress told them she thought the wait wouldn't be that long ,when our food arrived i had no onion rings and my partner was served garlic bread with his he is allergic to garlic ,i managed to get the attention of the waitress about my onion rings and she went to see where they were .she returned shortly with a huge bowl of onion rings so my partner and i shared them ,our food was lovely despite the long wait and fair do's to the staff they were very pleasant gave great customer service ,but the whole place was very badly run the store manager and head office obviously care little as to how customers are treated cheap food or not their cafe in Aberystwyth needs more staff we counted 4 staff trying to run that cafe at lunch time and they should be credited with how pleasant they all were and how nice the food was ,having spoken to other people it seems this cafe has been badly run for years ,we have been to the Tesco cafe several times in Aberystwyth and we have had a great service all round no dirty tables ,plenty of clean cutlery ,the ordering system is quick and the wait for food not very long

Yes we had to wait a tad bit for food however the lady who served us and the lady who delivered our food was most apologetic.

We often go shopping in Aberystwyth and have something to eat in the cafe, but noticed the amount of times the run out of essential items. The times I have needed to ask the staff for milk and couldn't believe the other week they run out of vinegar. A customer went into the shop and purchased a bottle and people was passing it around.

Ordered a cooked breakfast and it took half an hour to arrive even though the cafe was only 1/3 full ! My wife had gammon which she had to leave as it looked anemic and was tasteless. We did not have time to wait another half an hour for another.

I very rarely moan about eateries but I get so frustrated that I've given up eating there. Stand in the queue while the staff member is not only taking your order but also having to carry the food out to the relevant tables therefore making the queue longer. Get to the cutlery and find at least one of your requirements is not available i.e. knife, fork etc so then you have to try to grab a member of staff to restock. Try to find a table that has been cleared of the previous customers plates etc, this is the one that really riles me as I watch staff bringing food out to the tables then heading straight back to the kitchens walking past tables that need clearing. I appreciate how busy it can get but I have eaten at places with far less staff, just as busy and yet quite capable of ensuring the tables have been cleared. In short Morrisons you need to pull your socks up as I'm sure I'm not your only frustrated cafe customer! Oh and just to add this is not an opinion of a single visit, Morrisons is our main supermarket for shopping but now I make sure we eat somewhere else.

Good value ok food I had burger bit dry but ok should of come in brioche bun but didn't should of had coleslaw with it but didn't...wife had chicken burger she said it was very nice should of had coleslaw with it but didnt...sevice very bad took 45 minutes to arrive..

Can't understand why sometimes the food in the cafe is okay and other times; it's just a waste of money.

Stopped off for Breakfast when passing through, despite the cafe being super busy the staff handled it very well, they were all polite and friendly.

Good value for money cooked breakfasts. Cereal and skimmed milk available. Order at counter and breakfast delivered to table. Useful for shopping and local hotels. Vegan vegetarian and gluten free options available. Access for disabled. Access for push chairs and prawns. High chairs for kids if needed.

We had traveled from Somerset in the early hours and arrived here at 08 45. The charming girl on the counter met us with a lovely good morning smile., We ordered the breakfast and a pot of tea each. The breakfast was a lovely meal however a little to much butter on the mushrooms for my taste. Overall a nice filling breakfast for a very reasonable price

Visited here on our way home from a holiday. The menu is varied with meal choices for everyone from fry ups to healthy eating. I had salmon on a bed of spinach and asparagus. Very tasty, freshly cooked. My husband had steak and ale pie and mash. He really enjoyed it, pastry crisp and not too thick, no soggy bottom!
