We ate at Libanus twice within a week which in itself should say a lot about the place. The first time as a family of four and the second as a family of eight. On both occasions the welcome, service and food was excellent. To make the first visit even more special having finished our food we made our way downstairs and viewed a film in their cinema, seated in the most comfortable cinema seats ever. A memorable evening!

Great little cafe with a big sized menu, with an amazing warm welcome even when it's just got really busy 😄. I would recommend the fish finger sandwich as it was amazing value for money. Thanks to the team for a great visit 😀

We can't say enough about Sunday lunch at Jaynes. Jayne and her staff were really friendly, the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming even though it was a quiet, wintery afternoon, The food was delicious, home cooked and with generous portions to say the least !! We couldn't manage pudding so Jayne sorted a 'take away pud' for us. We will definitely eat here again.

Our group of 10 had a fantastic buffet. There was a varied menu, everything freshly cooked, above and beyond the usual buffet. We also had a choice of wonderful deserts. It was 10/10.

The place was a bit cold and good was just okay. Eggs were overdone and or chips turned up late because they forgot them, even though we were the only two in there! Smashed avocado was good, but nowhere on the menu did it say it had chilli flakes in it and they overdone it with them so was a struggle for the wife to finish!

Ordered cream tea. Scone fell apart as I picked it up. It had been heated up. Partner took it to counter to explain, very politely, that we didn't want it hot and it had collapsed. Counter staff girl explained she's told to heat them. Partner attempted to explain cream tea scones aren't normally hot as clotted cream will end up melting but it was obvious she was now upset. The next customer had the coffee pot slammed extra hard on the counter. Then the girl, after disappearing out back with another staff member, came back behind the counter and made some reference to 'people shouldn't tear a strip pit of people just because they're disabled' (I'm a stroke survivor in a wheelchair). I was horrified and couldn't wait to get out of there!!

Friendly and accessible bar. Great staff, quality real ale and delicious food. I was served by Jenny and Jane in the restaurant and very pleasant staff at the bar. The gaffer is a great character and it was a pleasure to visit. Everything is spotlessy clean and the atmosphere is lovely. Made my holiday.

I had the Mediterranean Tart, except they'd run out so it was replaced with two tasteless veggie sausages. The vegetables were horribly overcooked to the point of mush. The gravy was copious but flavorless. Terrible meal.

Southern fried chicken is a pack from a supermarket that is processed chicken in breadcrumbs from a supermarket 4 pack. Absolute crap, would have been better putting some in oven ourselves.

Well we're do we start,i thought we would give this chippy a try,but how wrong was we,firstly I paid for a large chips and got more of a small bag,I asked for a portion of potato fritters, and after waiting 20 mins they forgot to put them in and all I was Getting as a reply was there nearly done well obviously they weren't,by the time they were done the chips were stone cold after being left under the heat lamps for the whole duration I was waiting,on the plus side if u call it a plus they added 2 extra fritters, which the batter wasn't really fully cooked, and the customer service was shocking, u get more smiles of a wet kipper than the staff behind the counter,to busy showing there phones to each other,,bit of advice if u don't want to smile and be at work to your customers, leave the job,I can honestly I won't be returning to the acorn chippy,
