A really nice pub. Very much a family vibe, if that's what you're after. Not a "drinkers" pub, if that makes sense. Food looked nice

I'm always pleased with the friendly service, quality of the food and value for money. Then there's the fantastic views across the bay. They atmosphere is always comfortable and welcoming.

This is a place we always visit for a meal when we come to Borth. Food is always top notch, as is the service. Unfortunately, last night was spoilt slightly by another group of diners who felt the need to be obnoxiously loud, to the point where other diners could not have a normal conversation over their meal because you couldn't hear each other...and it wasn't just us passing comment.

Just popped in for a pre lunch drink whilst on holiday in Borth.

Nice place to go not the cleanest as in looking wise but think that's why it makes it what it is. Food decent tbh no parking only in front road if lucky. Service wise nice and would go again if came to Morfa borth again

Old pub with a modern feel. Friendly, efficient staff, well kept Real Ales and well prepared, tasty food. There's a veranda "Beer Garden" with sea views.

Always visit this pub when holidaying in borth because of the most stunning views from the terrace upstairs. Will definitely be back when we are back in the area

We love this pub, always go in for a couple of drinks and something to eat when we are in Borth. The terrace overlooking the sea is wonderful. 100% recommend!

Food is okay, but compared to other places I have eaten in the last 2 months I found it expensive. I had chicken breast with mashed potatoes and peas. The mash was nice, but there was a hard lump in the middle and dry on top. There were only 2 other parties in the area we were in and it was cold as the door to the outside area was kept open.

We went in September so it was reasonably quiet, Pleasant staff, great food, which you can eat on the beach benches if you like. Borth is lovely, but be warned nothing is cheap. 😎

Had a lovely meal and drinks here recently. Food was excellent and service was great. Lovely friendly staff. Dog friendly inside and outside. Lovely seating area out back with sea views and fab sunsets. One of the better pubs in the area

We loved it. Bit of a wait for the starter - garlic mushrooms and soup. Mains scampi and fish.

Lovely place to watch the sunset. Good is good value and not too much of a wait. Staff are lovely and a decent range of beer 🍺

Went today for Sunday lunch after a long wait at the bar to get a drink we informed the bar staff we had a table booked he said tables upstairs with your name on and gave us menus . We sat there there for 20 minutes no staff to be seen my partner went to the bar to see what was happening . Apparently we have to order our food at the bar no one told us this . As we were waiting the table behind us had there Dinners served, 5 minutes later the young lad came up to there table and said sorry these dinners were meant for another table the guy said I’ve started eating it but they still took his dinner off him to give to someone else wow never seen anything like that in my life ….

A hidden gem. Nestled in between a row of terraced cottages is the Victoria Inn, Borth. A lovely and welcoming pub where dogs are just as welcome as we are. Out the back the beer garden is on the beach. Above that is a sun terrace where you can sit and enjoy a great meal and drink whilst looking out to sea. The lunchtime menu ends at 14.30 hours so go earlier to avoid disappointment. The food is very good and good value too. Highly recommended.

Lovely little beachside pub. Outside area has basic wooden, but proper seats (with backs) and views out over the beach and bay. We just had cheeses chips & Ciabatta but both came out super quickly and were freshly made, hot and delicious!

Delicious food and stunning views but waited over 2 hours for food to come out, had to ask twice where it was. If we had been a large group it would have been more understandable but we were only a party of 3 and had pre-booked. Shame as it spoilt the evening and overall experience.

The roof terrace and seats on the beach are fantastic for views and sunset. A little slow service as it was busy.

Fantastic views across Cardigan Bay from the outside decking area. Worth the visit for this alone but the staff are also very nice & welcoming .

Cracking pub for food and drinks. Right on the sea front with plenty of outside seating as well as inside on 2 levels. Super place to watch the sun set. What's mot to like, give it a go if you are in Borth.

Beautiful location, the staff were lovely and welcoming. There's a downsizing so you can sit next to the beach and a balcony to view everything better. They serve food but I was there for the drinks, it's dog friendly which is awesome! I got to pet so many dogs, it was heaven

Lovely pub beautiful views. Sat outside at back with dogs watching sunset. However food was nothing special. We had duck with orange sauce mash and peas. Not a cheep dish 16 pounds ish. Mash was best thing on the plate. The Table spoon of frozen peas were ok too. Duck dry. Over cooked and brown/ grey in colour. Orange sauce - couldn't taste any orange! Duck was Tough. Only reason plate was clear was small portion and dog had the meat. The Other meal - Chicken chips peas and peppercorn sauce was not the best either. 2 black current cheese cakes - GF were ok but obviously run of the mill catering supplied. Not worth the 6.95 each. Over all spent 52.40 including 2 pints Coke. Wasn't impressed. View was the best thing. Drinks ok. Won't go back for food. Really not worth it. Don't know who the chef was but I think they should be ashamed to turn out the two mediocre meals we had. No care taken or pride in what they produced. To be honest it may well have been a micro wave meal. But wouldn't expect to pay the price we did for that. Service was slow though ok. Staff were polite. Didn't ask if meal was OK. Long wait between courses. So disappointed as had looked forward to a nice meal as a treat on our holiday. Didn't want to cause a fuss so just left. Won't be back for food. But drinks and View are great. Such a pity 😕

Service was fast and food was incredible, we all loved our Sunday dinners. Veggie option was tasty and came with all of the same things that the meat option did (Yorkshire, stuffing, cauliflower cheese). Plenty of veg between the table and extra gravy in jugs. Definitely recommend for Sunday dinner. View from the balcony facing the beach was stunning

Great sun terrace and garden overlooking the ⛱️

I cant fault the position, with lots of outdoor seating looking out over the beach soaking up the afternoon and evening sun. The beer and wine are superb and prices reasonable. Good range of food on the menu. I was a shade disappointed with the seafood linguine which needed more flavour and a wedge if lemon to lift it. The toilets are clean but not accessible.

The quality of the food and the service was exceptional.

Went twice while away for the weekend. On the Friday just for drinks which was fine but we had booked for food on the Saturday. I appreciate we were a fairly large group and it was a busy day but we weren't asked to pre order in advance. My partner and I waited an hour and a half for our mains as they were forgotten. The staff had no idea what was going on and didn't even know what dishes they were bringing out

Lovely food on the beach the prices we're fair but the pub could do with a freshen up especially the men's toilets they stunk bad

Visited a couple of times now and been warmly welcomed each time. Decent selection of drinks, fantastic to be able to sit on the beach watching the sun set and quiz night was great fun. A proper pub!

Arrived in Borth after walking 15 miles on the Welsh coastal path. Everywhere was shut except one pub. Lovely smiley bar man made an amazing and much needed pot of tea. Then we had a bowl of leek and potato soup and mine came with a gf roll without me asking! Great service, great food and we loved that there was a real log fire. We are coming back to watch the sunset from the beach terrace.

Lush place, great outdoor seating on the beach

Such a lovely pub and in an amazing spot . Is right on the beach. We sat upstairs and the kids played on the beach whilst we waited for food. We could see them from the terrace. Staff and locals are very friendly. I would recommend booking a table as it can get busy.

Just stopped by for a quick drink before talking a brisk walk on the beach in January .A lovely welcome and roaring fire to warm our cold bodies afterwards X

Really nice seafront pub, cosy interior (the fire was lit) with friendly staff and good range of drinks. Nice outdoor area to the rear, with rooftop area too. Would definitely visit more if possible!

Just pub food i had steak it would have been better sent 2 a cobbler for shoe repairs 20 guid down the drain wont go again.

Sat outside on a sunny but windy day. Then came inside. Very good day.

Poor service, dirty toilets. Been coming here for years but the place has certainly gone down hill. Bar staff seemed annoyed when receiving drinks orders. Mens toilets have buckets under broken plumbing. Such a shame as a lovely spot in town to sit and enjoy the sea, ruined by rude staff and a run down building

Great little pub backing onto Borth Beach dog friendly inside and out. Classic pub menu with was great. Fast and efficient friendly service good drinks selection at reasonable prices. Definitely will visit again...

On a busy evening they managed to accommodate 4 adults and 3 starving children. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great and the views glorious! Thank you so much!

So we went here as a family someone didn't turn up so we asked if we could have the seat they said no but at this time of year there were loads of flies we moved to the railway Inn go there it's better

Update August 2023: able to pay by card now but had to wait an hour for our food, wasn't that busy, no sincere apology. Food is standard pub grub Cash only!! There is a cash machine just up the road, but it's a real chore to remember to take plenty of cash especially if ordering food, hence the 3 stars from me. Food ok, quite a wait, but it was busy. Heard at the bar that they'd run out of Pinot Grigio, this was at 6.30pm on a Thurs eve. Sounds like from the conversation with the customer that this wasn't the first time either. View from upstairs outdoor decking is fabulous of course, taking in the full vista of Borth beach, helps you forget any earlier irritants at the bar. Don't forget to like my review 😀

Fantastic decking area to watch the sunset. Staff friendly, food mediocre pub grub. They apologised for the delay due to a broken grill and being short staffed. You need to book a table as it's popular! Ladies toilets were closed as broken, so ladies had to use the gents, which absolutely stank and meant having to walk past three urinals (sometimes in use!) To reach the loo. No disabled/accessible toilet. Would pop in for a drink or two overlooking the sea and sunset again.

Went to the Victoria on Saturday and have been visiting the Victoria for many years. We hadn’t booked and they were fully booked but they managed to get us a table. The meal and service were fantastic definitely recommend

Looking tired since my last visit, but Borth doesn't really have any class. Not able to cater for more than half a dozen people at a time. Sort your act out

Beautiful rear terrace overlooking the pebbled beach ....Well worth sitting out there to watch the sunset with a cold drink. There are definitely some good beers on tap but it seems a bit like the staff would rather be elsewhere as there wasn't much of a hurry to serve people - although they were polite enough. Unfortunately three of our party ended up with a sickness big post eating here so we won't be back hence the rating. A real pity as it could be such an amazing little gem with a bit of TLC and attention to detail

Excellent pub, with decking and tables right on the shingle beach. Good reasonably priced food and 4 or 5 cask ales. The best pub in Borth, we keep coming back!

Lovely place, was nice to be able to sit on the sea front after eating. The staff were lovely and not a long wait for lunch.

Very disappointed. Iv been here several times before and it's always been amazing. However yesterday we were forced to eat there due to all the chip shops being closed...... At the beach..... During peak. Anyway.... The pub it's self is nice, but the dinks are massively over priced, £8 for a pink of Carling and a bottle of cider. And £26 for 2 burger meals. There was more empty plate than food. The chips seemed to have been reheated more than once. The burger was flavourless with BBQ sauce that must have been applied from the other side of the room. And the bun was like sand paper which I'm sure was strategic to make you buy more overpriced dinks for relief. Unfortunately this has put us off eating here again, which is a shame as it was once a very nice pub.

Location is brilliant right on the sea front and the staff are super friendly, went as a group of 6 and space was plenty, was slightly disappointed with the food, the fish looked and tasted like a popular super market fried fish and the chicken wings were very poor, chips were served cool not warm or even hot .

Very good and the food was excellent. Only gave a 3 on service as we waited a while for the food to come out but apart from that no problems at all. Can Imagen that this place will get extremely busy during the peak holiday season so make sure you get in early to take advantage of the views

Lovely pub right on the sea front. There is plenty of seating, upstairs you can sit on the roof and admire the view and downstairs sit on part of the beach. Very reasonable prices and were very friendly specially as we had two little ones with us.

Go up to their "Atlantic Bar."...Its a great place to have beer and watch the sunset !

We came us of family of seven. The Sunday roast was fantastic. The grandchildren had chicken muggets Apart from having to wait for the pudding. No complaints at all The lady and gentleman behind the counter was helpful and friendly.. Be back soon

Despite a packed bar & beer garden due to the stunning weather, the staff ,whilst under pressure still managed to greet everyone with a smile , and get their orders sorted as soon as possible.
