The best restaurants in Wales

You can no longer bring your own wine or beer which used to be possible. No alcoholic beverages are allowed now, a change of policy which acts as a bit of a disincentive. But the food is very fresh and very nice.

All great .. Only thing is wait.. The chap is on own at time which made hot food a while .. But we was happy with food and drinks and a nice chap ...

Kady's is a typical small town family owned restaurant catering primarily to locals. They have a devoted following and it is well deserved. The wait staff is friendly and eficient. The price is fair. You can't go wrong here. Try the swedish pancakes.

The three of us decided to go into Caernarfon for some food, and spotted Osteria. We booked for early in the evening on the actual day, so they weee very accommodating. We had the 3 bruschetta starter, all of which were delicious. We all had pasta mains, 2 with the sausage and one vegetarian. They were very tasty and filling. The pasta itself was so good, cooked very well, and the dishes were good value for money. We were able to take the remainder of the pasta not eaten in a doggy bag. The chef came over and chatted with us which was pleasant, and the waitress was professional and friendly. The place itself f is in a very old building and the restaurant has a cosy feel. There is seating upstairs but I imagine that numbers are limited due to the small size. Well worth a visit.

The fish was cooked to perfection, with a light, golden-brown batter that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside

The cafe had a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was very tasty and I think I had the best hummus in my entire life! The ladies were lovely and explained a bit about the special teas available at the cafe. Will definitely return soon! 😊🍽

A great pub with friendly staff and locals. Make a point of going when they have a live band on for a fun evening.

The quality of the coffee became better and they serve V60 now. Guys in the shop are really good. The only issue there is the shop is always smells like something moldy or musty. This makes the place not nice.

What a fantastic restaurant this is. Staff are so helpful and friendly even though they are so busy. The food was amazing could not fault anything. I mentioned it was our 39th wedding anniversary when I booked, and they were so good and gave us a bottle of wine. I was so impressed with the service, not just on this occasion but previous occasions too. Would most definitely recommend.

We were a party of 5 ,this place is absolutely amazing full stars for food,service and the atmosphere.

I visited creates with a fellow coeliac friend for afternoon tea. The owner was very welcoming, reassured us that he was coeliac too so everything we were about to eat and drink was 100% safe, with everything being prepared in a separate part of the kitchen. I can’t wait to return to try the Sunday roast lunch very soon. Thank you so much for an amazing experience, highly recommend.

Over hour late. Soggy bun. Cold chips. Items missing, first time ordering here definitely the last, £12 box meal sounds to good to be true, burger boys in town if you want proper smashed burger with out a soggy bun

First time trying here today what a hidden gem! We had a cooked breakfast, lovely sausages, bacon and great coffee too. Staff were very friendly will definitely visit again!

There is no longer food being served at the pub. Lively lovable local pub. Friendly and centre of the village. Lovely staff 👌 ❤️
