This was a small takeout only place. The pizza was good although they were not very accommodating for people with food allergies. I asked for a meat lovers pizza with no cheese on half and was told "we don't do that". They could make it with vegan or non dairy cheese (for $1 upcharge) but they could leave the cheese off? It just doesn't make sense. Anyway, good food and quick take out service.

Lagoff is a great addition to the Granton waterfront. We have popped in for coffees, breakfast rolls, lunch and dog treats and all have been great. The guys are really friendly and they even have some seats alongside with views over the Forth. Not obvious from the road, but if you head from Gypsy Brae or Brick Beach you can't miss it.

Support the only independent coffee shop on Princess Street and get value and quality.A little stall for coffee, hot chocolate or pastries. Very friendly staff and barista who knows how to make a good coffee. Intend to re-visit for brunch next time I'm in Edinburgh.

My husband and me are regulars at EM’s so today when we visited we were saddened to see that she is closing down today. The baking has always been first class and the friendly staff, amazing. EM’s will be greatly missed in Dingwall. All that is left for me to say is that we wish Emily and her staff all the very best in the future. A truely brilliant baker.

I cannot stress this enough: put down whatever it is you are doing now and get on the phone to book a table here. You will not regret it. You are seated in a flat in a front room which serves as a dining room, with three tables and what looks like a dozen covers, top. The food comes on a set tasting menu and is frankly off the charts - it's that good. Sardinia being an island obviously means that the food will be *of the sea* and it doesn't disappoint for a second. Luisa's ability in the kitchen is a marvel to behold. Everything that came out was fantastic. In fact the starters were so good we didn't have time (or the inclination) to photograph them. Stars of the show: pasta and prawns, the sardines (oh the sardines!!), cod cheek wrapped in prosciutto, and the potato and prawn, but really you could have chosen anything. It's fine dining without the excesses: you'll not get dry ice, laser beams and spotlights here, But what you will get is sensationally well-prepared food by a chef who is at the top of her game. Oh yes. Bring your own wine!

This place simply does not disappoint. Whether it is the speedy and friendly service or the beautifully laid out food that fulfills all your cravings, you must visit this place. There are a lot of vegan restaurants that boast being great, yet they lack the key ingredient: simply great food, without anything extra. For a vegan restaurant, I look for comforting flavours that deliver and make me and my tummy happy. I have finally found a place I can openly recommend to everyone. Reasonable prices, great services, friendly atmosphere and food you can actually be happy with. I need to go back here, asap. You should too.

A real find - fine dining experience in Mull. Each course of the tasting menu exquisite. Each paired wine spot on. Our hosts explained each dish & wine. Inventive use of local products beautifully combined to give great textures & flavours. The crystal pastry starter looked magical. The accompanying oyster sorbet in a cone refreshing. Duck perfectly cooked maintaining a little pinkness in the centre & the berry jus great. The dessert a wonderful combination of sweet & sour.I'd go every week if I lived on Mull.

This was a lovely wee stop en route to Gairloch and to be honest, not where we had originally planned to stop off. Forming part of the Lochcarron Golf Club but not quite located in the main part of the village, this was a no nonsense, comfortable café. We were greeted by a lovely waitress - she made my four year old son feel right at home and let him look after their ‘Baby Buddha’ ornament (Buddha’s are an obsession of his). She was proper helpful and without fuss, even done us takeaway food for my wife, who was babysitting in the motorhome. We ordered a few things but my Eggs & Avocado on Toast were done perfectly (runny Yolks / smooth Avocado). My Coffee was spot on and well needed after a long drive without any sort of stop off points. My son devoured his Scrambled Egg on Toast. The food was nothing out of this world but for me, it was just good home-cooking eaten at the exact right time! An added bonus of the location made this driving break even better - overlooking the Loch Carron inlet and miles of blue sky and greenery. I’d confidently say it falls into the hidden gem category of NC500 eateries - don’t be put off by the Golf Club pavilion facade!

Loved the customer service and ambience which was only outdone by the tasty Vegan Breakfast and great coffee. I love stopping here whenever I can as it’s a real treat.

Came here with my partner and the Outlaws. Pizza was great, nicely cooked and the sugo was amazing, so flavourful and delicious. The pizza was a bit thinner and crispier than I personally consider Neapolitan, but that’s really splitting hairs because it was very tasty. I opted for pepperoni. The chips were astonishingly good. I don’t need a pizza AND chips, but I would order the chips again without hesitation. Service was personal and professional and the restaurant ambience and environment was a pleasure to sit in.

Now this is what I call a bowl of soup. The tastiest chicken and rice soup I've ever had. So filling unfortunately I had no room for a tasty toastie or any of the cakes on display. This welcoming cafe in the pretty village of Kirkmichael in South Ayrshire is well worth the drive. Just 20 mins from Ayr.
