Bonnie wee cafe based in Stirling city centre with cosy decor, homely feel and Wifi. Service was quick, friendly and cheerful ! Only popped in for takeaway coffee and cakes today (Bourbon Brownie and Cinnamon Bun) for the hike up Ben Mieke. But I will definitely be back for brunch and pancakes another day (because I saw someone eating the banana pancake stack and it looked incredible!) Both cakes were absolutely delicious; the cinnamon bun was particularly tasty! And trust me as a coffee snob, I can definitely approve the divine Oat Latte ! Worth the visit and will definitely return again for more sweet treats and coffee in future.
We had big breakfasts and macaroni cheese and chips. Food was lovely, very tasty. Barry the owner was great too. Highly recommend. We will be in again.
Happy faces all round as this cafe served snacks, cakes and drinks to a satisfied mix of customers. Saturday lunchtime crowd said everything and my order was spot on for what I needed.
Highly recommended.
My mum and I recently decided to try out this cafe for lunch and we were very impressed with the tapas/small plate dishes, and with the cake. The food was fresh and delicious. Today I went back with my baby and found it to be a lovely cafe to breastfeed in as well - there is a small family area at the back which is lamp lit and affords some privacy. The staff are very friendly, and were particularly good when I was flustered with a hungry baby today. This is just what Stirling was needing - my new favourite cafe!
Beautiful setting in the heart of wonderful Edinburgh. The welcome and attention from staff was exceptional and made our evening. Helena in particular was first class. We sampled mousaka, spanakopita and aubergine iman and all were exceptional. A truly wonderful Greek cuisine experience. Thank you to all concerned. We shall be back.
Staff were amazing and helpful
Hot chocolate is amazing
I had the double dare you burger which was perfect
The chips are lovely crispy and well seasoned
Would go back in a heart beat amazing shop great food
The lattes and Cinnamon buns were great. Sparkling clean area with a viewing window to see the coffee being roasted. Playing Hendrix in the background was an absolute bonus.
Not been to Riversedge for quite some time and so pleased I returned for a further visit. Went early Friday afternoon and the premises were reasonably busy. Service was very efficient and friendly. Had a lovely cheese scone and a piping hot mug if good quality coffee. There’s quite an extensive menu and they cater extremely well for those that are gluten free. Prices reasonable and a nice atmosphere within. WiFi available. Extensive free parking available nearby. They also have a nice array of home crafts and jewellery available. A lovely well run establishment
My new favourite local! I’ve been visiting many locally owned coffee shops in Aberdeen and I have finally found my go-to. Not only is the coffee amazing (whilst being reasonably priced), the owner is by far the most welcoming and hospitable person I have ever met! Too top it all off it doesn’t close at 5/6 like most coffee shops in town.
Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.
Loved this place! Came across it after a visit to Culross Palace. There were a couple of cafés which were closer but they were either a bit busier/noisier or welcomed dogs, which frankly puts me off. So glad we found Rankin's Café! Such a lovely, friendly, sunny place with a warm welcome and superb food. I had the soup of the day (Scotch broth) with the most delicious bread. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Would definitely recommend!
La primera vez que he estado en este café. Tienes grandes porciones casi demasiado para mí. Volveré.
La comida y el servicio era de 5 * y un buen ambiente tranquilo 👍
