Love this place. All veggie/vegan and a wide choice of hot and cold sandwiches plus salads and tasty sweet treats. Try the ‘Festival’ it’s life changing! Also the ‘Rock and Roll’ takes a sausage sarni to another level. Plus the Nanaimo bars (sorry if this is not the right spelling) are spectacularly good. Added bonus that the owners are just lovely people and so kind. Well worth a trip to Portobello, take your feast to the beach or there is a small sit in area. Go now, you won’t be disappointed I promise.

Was in Portobello one Sunday morning and was in need of something to eat. While not a Vegetarian or Vegan, I was drawn to Go Go Beets, and was glad I found it, as their food is AMAZING!!!!!! Great little cafe where you are sure of a friendly welcome, and get something very tasty to eat. Ordered the Peri Pickle Sensation sandwich, and was freshly prepared in no time! Tasted fantastic, and if in the area again, will be sure to come here again.

We visited Portobello whilst on holiday last week. We came across this lovely cafe after our very wet and windy walk along the seafront. The man there was extremely welcoming and we felt the service was excellent. We just came in for coffee but ended up having a coffee, hot chocolate as well as lovely cakes! One of us is gluten, dairy and egg free but it was not a problem at all and everything we had could accommodate for that. The cafe was warm, with eclectic decor and we would definitely recommend and return on our next visit to Edinburgh. Thank you.

Surprised to see so few reviews so that needs to be addressed! Have visited this place several times over the last couple of summers and the food is fantastic. Freshly prepared and obviously made with love. We always call in for our ‘driving home to England’ car food, the festival sandwich cannot be beaten, ever! The cakes must be healthy, aren’t they??? Just wish we lived closer.

Wonderful customer service - very friendly. Excellent selection of sweet treats as well as savoury bites as well. They also have a variety of drinks available too. We opted for Oreo & Biscoff milkshake which were both so sweet but so amazing! We also went all out and went for a cinnamon bun with frosting and sprinkles on top (again, very sweet but so nice), a peanut butter and Oreo brownie (scrumptious) and my favourite, a cherry jam and frosting coconut cookie sandwich (the combination of flavours were delicious). Is it bad that we ate all of these in the space of an hour? It isn’t really a sit in cafe but why would you want to when you have the beach just down the road? I’d highly recommend this place for anytime of the day. You won’t be disappointed. It’s just a shame there aren’t many more places like this.

This is a great cafe on main street in Portobello. We had lovely sandwiches which were big, tasty and filled us up for the rest of the day. My wife tucked into a peanut butter and caramel brownie and said it was great.

Would just like to share a little message saying how lovely it was to pop into Go Go Beets on the high street for lunch today. All vegetarian and vegan food and sooo delicious with super friendly staff - I would definitely recommend for those who haven’t been yet. The raspberry milkshake was super tasty! Remember to support local peeps!

This place does vegan and veggie sandwiches, salads and soups, using very good ingredients to make well-balanced and tasty takeaway snacks and lunches. There's also a range of homemeade brownies, jammie dodgers and other sweet treats. Coffee was excellent and milkshakes are also on the menu. Perfect for a stop before or after the beach, or even if you're not going to the beach at all!

Lovely little cafe, with friendly and helpful staff and a great selection of food. It was a perfect place to meet friends from Rome and the Netherlands. Our group ordered a wide variety of choices from the menu including the soup, Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs and salmon, smoothies, waffles, carrot cake and tea - all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the owl cushions very comfy. You could miss it walking by, but well worth searching it out and popping in. It extends a way back - a bit of a tardis for seating.

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit. The coffee was incredible! Best I've had and reasonably priced considering the venue has a very up market vibe. Friendly staff too. Will definitely come back again for the food as it looked delicious.

We've been coming to our favourite Edinburgh place since it opened in 2015 and looking back I couldn't believe my only review of it was 7 years ago. Chef Sean continues to innovate and delight in equal measure, as is clear from the proliferation of 5* reviews - don't hesitate to ask anything about the food or the wine, he is rarely happier than when describing the provenance of the cheese or veal.. or the terroir of his new favourite wine... I rarely go for restaurant wine pairings but wouldn't hesitate to recommend the offerings here. You won't be disappointed by the quality, value or attention to detail! I've posted the current menu below - you'll get a copy in your goody-bag when you leave. And I can't leave without mentioning Keith - Sean's brother and head of music production at The Table. The place wouldn't be the same without you, Keith. Look forward to seeing you both again, soon! And next year is the 10th Anniversary! Can't wait for that..
