Found Fultons by accident while looking for somewhere that wasn't this place, but so glad we decided to go in. This is my second visit in as many months, and once again, it didn't disappoint. From the outside you might walk past it, big mistake, but once you cross the threshold you've landed into a place with great food and a great vibe, so much so almost everyone is a local and regular and to quote from Cheers, everyone knows your name. It's cheeky and sassy Glasgow humour with a huge emphasis on making sure you're welcomed and looked after. Oh, it also does food 😎 the homemade soup is always comforting and just as your Mum or Gran would make. The main courses are wholesome, with the baked potatoes being the best I've ever tasted and the fillings plentiful. You must try the Mexican Chicken with some cajun beans on top, it smacks your mouth with such flavour. The desserts are fabulous, I can vouch for the ginger cake and custard and apple pie and ice cream. The STP is not to try. Finally, the coffee is excellent. Treat yourself to an espresso which comes as twice the volume of normal and delivers a punch. The staff and owners are definitely diamonds of the Glasgow kind.

A deceptive little place. From the outside you would think this is just a basic cafe but don’t be deceived! Extension and varied menu both fresh and tasty! A traditional Glasgow welcome from all staff is reflected in the fact it’s always busy! So much so that by not being open on a Sunday you’re missing a trick! Victoria Road in Govanhill is where this is and the area has undergone a major transformation! The cool, hip vibe with so many cafes and coffee shops make this the place to be in town now! Loved it!

Truly delicious and well prepared breakfast. I ordered off menu but requested some modifications due to my food peculiarities. No problem. It was prepared perfectly. My wife’s meal was top of the chart as well. High praise for Fultons.

Excellent visit. Really good value and lovely and clean. Service was first class and menu was mainly traditional with some twists. This will not be my last visit.

Visited for the first time today after a walk in the nearby park. On first glance it looks like a standard cafe with the usual food. Once inside we found a specials boards and were welcomed by the owner . Staff were so friendly , they were following the correct covid guidelines and we were spoilt by the varied menu. I had buttermilk pancakes with crispy chicken and my sister had the same pancakes with bacon , eggs and maple syrup. Amazing pancakes, all food hot and freshly made and even the tea stayed warm in the teapot . Staff were so friendly and welcoming and the cafe stayed busy the whole time . Especially when it's a Tues afternoon !! Prices were very good and cheaper than nearby Shawlands area We would definitely go back

Delicious veggie food We stopped in for brunch on a sunny Saturday. I was intrigued by the smashed peas on sourdough, and it was not a disappointment! Deliciously minty with spring onion and a hint of chilli. The halloumi on top was perfect. A good selection of teas and coffees, and other juices etc. A brilliant option for veggie or vegan breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I came back the next day to get some of their fantastic pastries!

May I begin by saying I am not an expert but a keen amateur. I have a Rancilio Sylvia classic and Rancilio Rocky Grinder and my own belief is that the type of been you need corresponds to your Grinder and setting. May I also say these coffee beans are all excellent, but I have found different results with each of them. With Papercup I have serious channelling I believe there is much more moisture in the bean andto be honest didn’t get a decent pull on any shots. Tin donkey was a great tasting coffee, but again I had to adjust my grind setting which is at zero on the rocky; despite numerous attempts at both paper cup and tindonkey I failed miserably. however I have 100% success with DearGreen on any of their beans. I don’t think there is much difference in the quality of these beans- I think it comes down to user error or capacity to pull good shots. I have learned to clean out my Grindr courtesy of Gail from Seattle coffee ha ha and I’ve owned this machine for roughly 10 years. DearGreen coffee works for me I hope you find this helpful

Short Long Black is a great place on Victoria Road. Great coffee and an incredible section of cakes and pastries. ( good vegan & gluten free options)
