Found this unassuming kiosk at the side of Grand Park beside children's playground. Ice cream offer was not huge but there were some delightful flavours. and the quality of the ice cream was excellent. We chose lemon and ginger, apple crumbed, cookies and cream and raspberry ripple. Not a bad choice between them. Some benches beside cafe to either watch over children playing or enjoy the beautiful trees in the grounds of the Park. All in all a gem of a find.

This is more than an ice cream shop on the edge of the park. We opted for fresh fruity ice cream, and a sort of caramel flavoured one (can't remember the actual names - we were socially distancing and trying not to disrupt the queue). This little kiosk did a great job of utilising two hatches, which meant the person who took your order worked quickly and then you walked round to the second hatch to collect the ice cream. Really truly delicious treat under the shade of the trees alongside the car park on a very hot day. What more could you ask?

We stopped at Grant Park in Forres. Mather’s ice-cream is an unassuming surprise conveniently located next to the play area. We were able to enjoy food, ice-cream and have fun at the park with our daughter. There was a great choice of ice-cream, vegan ice-cream, and sorbet flavours to choose from and they were all homemade. My wife greatly enjoyed her raspberry ripple (with real fruit) and salted caramel cone. My pineapple sorbet was refreshing and an excellent palate cleanser! I was hungry so opted for a burger beforehand (veggie burger available too). It too was homemade, even down to the bread roll! It was possible to park next to Mather’s. In addition to the convenient parking there were public loos open and a play area in the immediate vicinity. This makes it the perfect stop-off point on the A96 when passing through, or when visiting Forres. Afterwards I sat and drank coffee (I chose oat milk) while my daughter played in the park. I have not had better coffee (or ice-cream) in Forres!

The selection may not be vast but everyone is amazing with so many great flavours I cannot have a favourite. Kids can play in the park while the adults can enjoy a coffee, the ice cream for all. Lovely friendly people.

What a lovely little kiosk. Friendly staff, nice seating area outside, colourful chairs and little tables. Excellent variety of ice creams, soft drinks and coffee. Other goodies also available. I do hope this place does well and they expand. The only recommendation I would make to improve it, would be better signs. Didn't even know it was there but for a walk in the park and I noticed a rather long queue and being nosey, wondered what was going on. Brighten up the paint colour on the outside and it will be a fab little place to visit on the way to or from Forres. I really wish them well for the future. I wonder if they have any plans for the colder months of the year? Baked tatties perhaps, hot chocolate, soups? Hmmmmm and Yuuuum. Lovely Happy to recommend any day of the week. Oh the ice creams are all home made I believe and they have Vegan ice cream too! It gets better and better!

Omg the best ice cream ever! Hidden away by the children’s play park in Grant Park, by the toilets it was a very unexpected find. All homemade ice cream in a huge range of original flavours including around 4 vegan options, I had the red cherry and biscotti one, soooo lovely and HUGE portions. We went back the next day especially for another one.

I love good ice cream and am always on the lookout for somewhere new to try. Mathers, next to the playpark in Grant Park offers around 16 imaginative flavours from their kiosk. The ice cream is of outstanding quality, my particular favourite being pineapple sorbet which is like a delicious hit of fresh pineapple. The kiosk also serves teas, coffees and soft drinks. Treat yourself to one of Mather’s ice creams.

Popped in here for morning coffees & babychinos. Ever such a friendly couple who run the kiosk. Local friend said they have moved up to Forres from Brighton & the yummy looking ice cream is local. I'm sure they will do a thriving business in this gorgeous park, located close to the kiddy play area. Could probably do with better signage - you don't know it's there unless someone tells you or you see someone queuing up.

Trip down memory lane to Millbuies for a short walk. Great to see catering available and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee and treat (tasty jammie dodger that could feed a family). Friendly service, tasty food and drink just what you need on a morning walk.

We visited Seasonal Flavour when they were at the Braemar Gathering. I enjoyed a fantastic Highland Venison Burrito. One of the few times I've had venison. And a Crispy Buttermilk Wild Pheasant Sandwich with fries. My husband loved it, my kids loved it. Great meal!
