This place is a hidden gem! We were driving by and found it by chance. The crispy chicken burger was really tasty. My kids loved the nachos and loaded fries. The food quality and taste were amazing, and the prices were very affordable. If you’re in the area, it's a must-try, and the view from the place is breathtaking.
Great service, lovely atmosphere and great coffee! I had a latte in store and it was served in a luxurious unique mug and the barista had a lovely chat with me

Was recommended James' Curry from a family member. We ordered the Malaysian chicken curry and was completely blown away! It's hard to put into words how incredible it was! James' curry is unique - this is totally different to mindlessly scrolling through countless curry places to just end up with something pretty normal/similar to one another. James' curry has a flavour unlike any other and we will be making this a Friday night go to for sure.
Thank you for changing curry night forever!
Amazing Gem! Amir was so welcoming, kind, polite and sweet! He offered us a sample of a delicious cake which we had never tried before. The Persian Cream Puffs were amazing and the Persian Tea was so aromatic and tasty! Would highly recommend this place! Damet Garm Daadaash
We’ve stayed just down the road from the Gaelic Centre four times now but this is the first time we’ve realised that the cafe is open outwith special events.
We had excellent coffee and scones served by lovely friendly staff. The centre is very peaceful and has great views. We also really enjoyed seeing the paintings by local artist Dieter Finger - both the landscapes and the impressive portraits of some of the musicians who’ve played at the Lagavulin jazz festival in the past.
We had carefully planned out every meal for our trip, then we got behind schedule and needed something fast! Found this gem through a google search. The nicest guys were working the food truck, and the food was spectacular!!!! Arguably our favorite meal of the trip.
Saw the shop on a tv programme so we decided to drive over from Edinburgh. We purchased a number of items and went home. Haggis tastes absolutely amazing and well deserved top awards. Mince/Scotch pies - very tasty and we enjoyed them immensely.Well done, we will be back.

We stopped by after our walk around town. We only had beer or hot tea, but sat by the bakery display. I was too full, but still coveted the scones. There were cakes, cookies, frosted doughnuts.... a busy, but still friendly staff topped off this most refreshing stop in our day. Next time I will lan better and have the scone, clotted cream and jam!
This absolutely has to be the friendliest deli/coffee shop/wine bar in Peebles! Always the warmest welcome, excellent coffee, hot chocolate and home baking. Many of their cheeses and charcuterie items are local, and they keep a beautiful range of gift items to complement everything else.
