On a rainy day in the western Highlands near the town of Glenelg, we happened upon this lovely little place. We’d been visiting the nearby stunning Broch on the grassy rise and decided to stop in for a coffee and cake. We were ushered in to this quaint little wagon, plenty of room for the two of us to warm up by the fire. The lovely ladies serving us made two delicious hot coffees and we decided to have a piece of fruit cake and courgette cake. The cakes were home made and both scrumptious, the conversation was pleasant and interesting. I imagine that on a clear day it would be lovely to sit out in the garden.
This is the best coffee shop in St Andrews - but only in terms of the coffee and the food. I love the drinks and the bagels especially are *french kiss* but I would love to be able to come and sit, and enjoy my bagel at a table. The issue is that the already limited seating is taken up by students who have pretty much always finished their drinks. I really think it would be a good idea to have maybe half of the seats reserved for people who just want to come and sit for 10 minutes to have a drink because the shop itself is so nice and clearly very well finished. As a student myself I know there are plenty of study spaces in town so a study free area surely wouldn't meet much resistance? I for one would visit the cafe much more often, instead of just for takeaways.
That said, the staff are amazing and the coffee is superb.
A wee gem close to where we'd stayed. Had a Yummy brunch without much boasters! Sitting on the perfect corner to give you that traditional corner cafe feel.
Just popped into Moka in Largs as hadn't had breakfast and decided to have some brunch. We are not vegitarian but thought we would try it out.
Bright spacious cafe located in The Main street / Tron Place with lovely plants and pleasant modern decor .
A warm welcome from staff and prompt service got us off to a good start.
If you have never had a veggie roll in sausage you need to try it was absoloutley delishious..My wife had advacado smash on sourdough with salad and a lovely slight curry seasoning..so nice...coffee and tea really good and all at a reasonable price and service with a smile..
Not to be missed. 5 stars from us.
Unfortunately my whole visit was not good from the girl that served me - no communication. Looked totally fed up to be there. Got order wrong (obviously as was so disinterested when taking order) Shop not busy but order took a while to come. My french toast was so greasy. Very disappointing
On a previous visit I had the same experience with same waitress - almost a bother to take order
The toasties took us by surprise; both the pork & cheese and the BBQ chicken & cheese were filled with caramelised onions and a crispy egg and veggie fritter/pancake. It was absolutely delicious, very warming and flavourful. The staff were very polite.
A nice clean Caffè with friendly staff. Great choice on the menu something to suit everyone. We settled on cream scone and cheese scone. latte and cappuccino both drinks were served with tablet and were nice and hot very reasonably priced. A place we gave been meaning to try and can say we will be back.

Lovely food picked up tonight and enjoyed so much, will definitely be returning, also found out delivery is available too which is always convenient, staff were very pleasant and food was very reasonably priced, top draw all round 👍
A great find. Friendly service and delicious generously filled toasted club sandwiches. Super coffee too. Would definitely return if we revisit this area in the future.
