The best restaurants in South West Scotland

We went as a group of 7 and each of us had a lovely 2 course lunch. Will definitely return and recommend

We absolutely love the pizza here. It is always made fresh with a thin crispy base and soft gooey toppings. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

We called in for soup and coffee at lunchtime staff made us feel so welcome with our dog too.It was so good we booked for dinner and were not disappointed. My husband had duck pate to start and haggis needs and tatties I had haggis pakoras to start and steak pie we were full but were piggies and had sticky toffee pudding between us bliss.Our dog enjoyed the log fire and a chewy stick so lovely we are going back tomorrow evening

Been Dining Here for a year now. Delia and Antonio serve the best pasta in Scotland. He is an Excellent chef. Great service.

Food was cold 3 meals brought out waited another 15 minutes for last meal asked staff 3 times when it was coming by the time it came rice was really cold No apology given

Sad to be writing this as usually go to Hamilton restaurant which is fab but was fully booked. Arrived and was told table hasn’t been booked. Showed them my email and after some confusion they found us a table (no apology). Food was absolutely terrible. Wrong order for main resulting in long wait for my mother in law. We had all nearly finished by the time she received her correct order. Potato skins were awful, salmon main was a disgrace, and chicken dishes were overcooked. Not up to usual standards.

Went here for dinner multiple evenings when in Troon, absolutely loved the food and would highly recommend

The Weston Tavern in Kilmaurs was an excellent meal. We could not recommend it enough.
