Great evening meal 😀 Lively buzzy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Comfy seating . Lovely menu ,plenty of choice for everyone, even the picky one. Food was delivered promptly and a mistake was rectified quickly with an apology and no quibble. Couldn't fault the quality of both food and service. Definitely recommend 👌

Went to Carrigans to have lunch from coffee shop on Wednesday 26th Feb. Stood for several minutes at coffee shop awaiting attention, asked passing staff member with blonde hair for a table and she told us she couldn’t help us as she wasn’t working in the coffee shop and to move to the other counter. Stood for several more minutes, 2 staff members walked past us and ignored us. Eventually another female staff member appeared and said the coffee shop was closed due to a function. No signage to tell customers this, staff rude and unhelpful. Really disappointed, not the usual high standards from Carrigans.

Everything about this restaurant is first class. From moment you arrive you feel like you have made the right choice. Set in a beautiful marina with plenty of parking, once you arrive the staff take care of you with a friendly and welcoming service. The menu is exciting and has plenty of options, would highly recommend the fish sharing platter to start which was delicious. Also very Reasonably priced for the quality of the food and experience. Top restaurant! Very nice atmosphere, very good service and the food is also top! In my opinion it is one of the absolute top restaurants in Ayr!!!!

Late Lunch, Early Dinner. Huge Portions as always, great service as always and Food was as ever very tasy, fresh and great value for money. Lovely Restaurant and the servcie is fab.

We came for a breakfast which to our surprise was an all you can eat Biffet style with bottomless tea and coffee. We were also able to use our blue light discount which was an excellent 15% off. As for the food and service… the service was great from all members of staff. We were met with friendly smiles and warm service. The food was warm and tastey. The kids play area was clean and lots for kids to do. Will be back.

Traditional pub grub pub. Food is great and massive portions, menu felt a bit limited however

I only visited for food, which was amazing ! The service from a waitress called Salena was so efficient and friendly .. thank you ! I haven’t rated rooms because I didn’t stay, however the environment was gorgeous

The food was lovely, couldn’t fault it! The waiting staff really let the restaurant down, they are not interested in customer service. We had one drink all evening, staff not around to offer more drinks. A smile on any one of them wouldn’t hurt.

In Hamilton at a show and popped in here. Lovely decor inside, staff very friendly particularly with my young daughter (who has downs) and food was delicious. Couldn’t have been happier. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

Just when we thought Arran couldn’t possibly give us any more delights we came across this restaurant. Absolutely delicious food with a real flavour of Scotland, incredible value and a charming host. The perfect end to our trip.

Bacon roll. £8.49 for burned, cold bacon, served on a burger bun. How can they justify this? Served coffee which was finished before the bacon roll due to the time it arrived. Total monopoly, but pay it if you want but no alternative. Total for 2 coffee's and two bacon rolls over £28.

Family night out, very pleasant environment - lovely spacious table for 8 of us, not too close to other dinners. The food was very nice, hot plates and the food was well presented. All 3 courses were very enjoyable - minor changes to some meals was requested and the were acted on without any fuss. The staff were very polite but the speed of the service may have been an issue if we had been constrained by time or were in a hurry. However the staff helped us to have a very enjoyable evening. We will return.
